Bought these as a surprise for my hubby on Valentine's Day. They were delivered as promised and packaged well. Halszka was in contact with me via email and text which was pretty cool. A very professional company with a mom and pop feel. Such a rarity these days. My husband being polish and raised on perogies always talked about this grams growing up. He said these were spot on. The chocolate sauce was dreamy and complimented the fruit ones well. My only advise to anyone planning on buying them they dont have much of a shelf life. Ours were delivered Wednesday night at like 9pm. And only lasted till friday night/Saturday morning. Also I reached out to the company to ask about freezing since they were gonna go bad and it wasn't really recommended. Next time I order I will make them right away or order less at a time. I was SO pleased with my experience with Pierogi Rulez. I'm a first time customer and just moved to the area. My boyfriend is a firefighter for LA county and has to work on Christmas, so we decided to celebrate a weekend early. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE I made the HUGE mistake of trusting this company and ordering pierogis for Christmas. I was assured over and over prior to placing my order they would be delivered by Christmas 100% without a doubt. I waited the entire day for my delivery and every time I emailed to ask about my delivery they would push the time back further intil they pushed to the next day!!! I finally gave up and asked for a refund and received nothing but a rude response!! I never got my order or my refund They ruined my Christmas menu and disappointed my family. Amazing Pierogi!! They all sounded delicious so we ordered some of each and were more then satisfied! Each one was filled with amazing flavors and we were left wanting more. We ordered some bacon and onion toppings for them as well as the vanilla cinnamon topping for the blueberry and strawberry pierogi. The angel wings were crispy and a hit for dessert as well. Lukasz delivered them and they were freshly sealed and packed with ice packs. He and his wife were super fast at responding to our order and accommodating with any delivery times and dates. I somehow came across Pierogi Rulez on Yelp. I have no knowledge of Polish dishes but after seeing the reviews and pictures of Pierogi, I wanted to try them. I ordered berry, strawberry, potato and cheese and mushroom and sauerkraut pierogi and the sides of onion and bacon, chocolate sauce and vanilla cream to take to the Christmas gathering. The order was delivered at my doorstep as promised with ice packs and the directions on how to enjoy them. I simply heated them in the boiling water and they were very yummy!! I grew up back East with a Ukrainian/Polish grandmother that made pierogies every month for her family. She had 14 kids who were all married and had kids of their own so making that many pierogies was certainly no easy task. And her pierogies were absolutely amazing! Living in California has made it difficult to find what I consider to be authentic pierogies. This place is by far the closest I've come to those handmade, homemade pierogies that I grew up with. Delicious pierogis! We ordered online 6 of each savory flavor (potato & cheese, meat, mushroom & sauerkraut) and 3 of each dessert (strawberry and blueberry). Delivery was a nice convenience and right within the expected 2 hour window. The packaging was WOW amazing, very professional and we appreciated the attention to nutrition and ingredients details. Because we had other plans, we did not eat the pierogi right away and they kept well in our refrigerator. The first night we had the potato and cheese as a side to steak. We fried them in a little bit of garlic olive oil. Yummy. Very well seasoned and even though we had lightly sautéed them, they practically melted in our mouths. A couple days later we decided to go all in on the rest of our order and also used the complimentary savory and dessert sauces provided. The pierogi were still fresh and tasty! I would definitely recommend the onion/bacon sauce "addition" and the lightly cinnamon cream for the dessert pillows of deliciousness. As transplants from the Midwest we have had many grocery packaged pierogi and homemade from a Ukrainian neighbor. Best pierogi I've ever had, including comparing to the ones my grandmother used to get for us. Truly no comparison to what you might find frozen in the grocery store. Had them delivered Christmas Eve for our Christmas dinner and they were a hit! We enjoyed both the potato cheese and mushroom varieties. Both were very light, dough not too thick, and loved the tangy filling in the potato cheese. Super easy to prepare - I'm used to boiling and then sautéing until golden, but these were ready to go, just quickly sautéd them and served them with onions and sour cream. I have always loved Pierogi. My dear sweet aunt used to make them from scratch and they were so amazing. As she got older stopped making them and we resulted to buying them frozen. Occasionally Costco would have a company come out and sell them, but they never tasted quite as good. I decided to turn to yelp and look for a good Polish restaurant and Pierogi Rulez popped up. Lots of 5 stars so I thought I would try them. They were delivered to my door by the nicest young man, but that was just the beginning! These Pierogi were amazing. Homemade goodness as I remember.
