We came here to try the fish & chips but didn't expect to be so delighted by the burger as well! If you love a crispy, fluffy batter, this is the place for you. We were impressed by how the fish stayed perfectly moist inside while delivering a satisfying crunch. We only got one piece for the fish and chips, but it was a hefty portion with a decent amount of fries. The pigfish burger seemed simple at first glance--just a classic burger on paper--but it had so many great layers: smoky bacon, a sturdy bun, a nice char, a well-seasoned patty, yummy cheese, and a delicious house aioli. Sometimes, a simple burger done right hits the spot best! We'll definitely be back--either to order these again or to try their rotating specials.

I enjoyed coming here! The neighborhood and shop itself are very cute. I ordered the spicy fish sandwich which came with fries but I upgraded to truffle fries. My boyfriend got the fish tacos and upgraded his salad to garlic Asiago fries. The batter on the fish was suuuuper light and crispy. I marveled at how something fried could taste so light! Servings were also generous. Would definitely come back. Not much seating though. Only 2 booths, I think 2-3 tables, and some window seating. Not great for large crowds. Probably a party of 4 or less. I overhear: one of the workers say they make their own tartar sauce so that was cool. My only complaint was that the fries were incredibly oily. When we moved the paper boat the fries came in, there was a little puddle of oil and the paper was soaked through. Also didn't think the spicy fish sandwich was spicy.

Best fish and chips I have had in a long time! The outside was crispy but the fish was still flaky and moist. They service was excellent and the patio is a beautiful spot for a beer and fries. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience!

Stopped in on a Friday night for dinner, just before 6p and it wasn't busy. Counter staff was friendly and patient as we looked over the menu. We settled on the Spicy Fish Burger and kids cheese burger meal. Spicy Fish was a crispy beer battered filet with spicy mayo on a crisp salty pickles bed. Cheese burger was pretty standard but my son appreciated the pickles being left on the side. You can never go wrong with fresh cut fries.. they were salted to perfection. All in all I would return and try something else on the menu, since there were several other options that looked appealing like the pastrami on rye or pigfish burger or caramelized onion burger.. all paired with hand cut fries feels like a win!

I can't believe this was my first time trying pigfish. I had the Philly cheesesteak on a GF bun. It was delicious. My main complaint is that it was a little spicy, and the fries were just ok. I ordered it to go so maybe it would be better if I sat and ate it fresh. Overall super delicious!

My family and I love Pig Fish! The best fish sandwich I've ever had, honestly and truly! And I don't really like fish sandwiches like that and to even crave them but Pig Fish Cafe has made the one for me! Consistently delicious, a pretty big cut of beer battered rock fish fried to fluffy perfection, light and not too heavy. Dressed with a little veg and their house made tartar sauce on a warm brioche bun! If a fish sandwich would be decadent in all the right ways this one is! They also have great fish n chips, tacos, varieties of burgers/sandwiches, meals for kiddos and specials. The restaurant is small but very welcoming! They have a counter at the entrance window with 4 seats, three 2-4 seater booths, and a little patio out back that has a back yard vibe. You pay up front and they bring your meal to you. Customer service is always good and helpful. Like I said the best fish sandwich everrrr (in my opinion) go try for yourself!

A small local burger joint in Burien. Order at the counter & seat yourself. There are 2 tables inside & outdoor seating in the patio. The staff will bring your order to your table. Drinks are self-service. All burgers are cooked to order & come with fries. We got the classic burgers which were perfectly cooked to our liking & we loved the crispy cooked fries with the spicy sauce it came with! All in All, a good neighborhood burger joint!

My family and I were starving after our flight into Seattle. I was craving sandwiches and my son was craving fries, so we were pretty excited to find Pigfish nearby on the Yelp app. Unfortunately, we felt that the restaurant did not live up to our expectations. The food was decent but not 5 stars good. The Pigfish Burger had really good ingredients. There was a super fatty (and super delicious) beef patty that was covered in heavy mayo sauce. The first few bites were really tasty, but you really needed something to balance out the fat over time. The Hot Pastrami had barely any pastrami and a lot of mustard, so the mustard over-powered the actually pastrami. As for the fries, we upgraded to the truffle fries for one of our dishes. I think it could have been a real star but the fries themselves were not very crispy. They felt like they could have used another minute or two in the fryer. The truffle flavor itself was really well done; not overwhelming but obviously there. Again, just a little more crisp and it would have been really special.

I ordered the cheeseburger and fries and it was perfect. I judge the burger by the juciyness and when the meat juice runs down your hand it's perfection. The service was excellent, food was hot when delivered and the hand cut fries were perfect. I'll be trying the spicy rockfish sandwich next time. This was the perfect funky little place to stop and eat, the owners were very nice and attentive and accommodating. read more

Drove all the way to Burien to visit family visiting from out of state. We wanted something to eat, but most places in Downtown Burien were closed till 4 or so. We saw that this place was open, and decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the fish sandwich, and the other two ordered the fish tacos. The food was great, and the portions were huge that we all had leftovers for dinner. The other thing is that the price was affordable compared to other restaurants. Will definitely come back. read more

If you want something made quickly and sloppily this isn't your place. The ingredients are excellent and each meal is made to order. Fresh, delicious and great service. I ordered the small cheeseburger which was fabulous. I didn't want fries and they substituted a nice side salad with organic lettuce, fresh in season tomatoes, cucumber slices and homemade vinaigrette. I'll be back for sure. read more

Just had the most perfect burger at Pigfish. The bun was fresh but not oversized, the lettuce were high quality greens, the sauce was full of flavor and the burger tasted like it was straight off the farm. I haven't had a burger this good for decades, so tasty! And the hand cut fries, cooked to perfection. There aren't many restaurants that deserve a five star, but this place is definitely legit. read more

The wife and I visited here after reading the Yelp reviews. I am glad we did! The restaurant is a small family owned place that opened up earlier this year. For lunch, I had the potato soup and the Cuban sandwich. My wife had the fish and chips. The portions were huge and well seasoned. The staff was very attentive and friendly. First visit! On a spur of the moment road/water trip, my husband and I decided to catch the Fauntleroy Ferry to Southworth and we were hungry. I checked Yelp for nearby sandwich shops and the Pigfish Cafe had great reviews so headed there and got 2 great sandwiches with fries for the ferry ride . We stopped by for a quick lunch and we're not disappointed. The fish and chips were excellent with a nice light batter on the fish. Huge portions, top quality from scratch food, and super friendly service makes this cafe a favorite. Local family highly recommended ordering food here, as they often do, and we enjoyed meals here twice in a week during my visit. Will be a top choice next time in town too. The burgers are so juicy and delicious, fries are not even needed, however the fresh cut fries here are so tasty you will find room to eat them anyway. There is an option to substitute for a salad if you just need a little healthier option. While all the sandwich options sound good, it does not get much better than the traditional pigfish burger. On my second visit, I went with the fish and chips. The local rockfish is so good and fried to perfection. The whitefish is light and flakey and packed with fresh fish flavor. Reasonable prices are a plus too. Overall a top choice in Burien with a small focused menu and daily specials for trying new things. Cannot wait to return to Pigfish and not just because the name is fun to say. read more

Such a fun neighborhood hidden gem!! The back patio is dog friendly and I love that. We shared the fish and chips and it was more than enough for both of us. The fish was very moist and the breading was flakey and light. I highly recommend their spicy aoli it was perfectly spicy on the truffle fries. 10/10 recommend read more

My dad ordered take out from here. The fish tacos where amazing, my dad got the pastrami and said it was amazing. The fries where great. I'm going to try that Swiss grilled onion burger next. If 6 stars was available we would have given 6 stars! We came with a large party and they were great, gave us their whole Patio and let us move the tables around. The food was fabulous! The batter on the fish was so light and crispy and also had a bit of a kick to it - we loved the fish tacos, fish sandwich, and fish and chips. We also had the chicken bacon ranch burger which totally rocked and the Italian melt sandwich was amazing. Totally awesome place, will totally go back again! read more

We love this place. The burgers and sandwiches are amazing! They have great options for kids too. We have some Gluten free members in our family and they have GF buns and plenty of other GF options. The owners are wonderful people and are a pleasure to be acquainted with. Their burgers are a fail proof choice, but ask about their specials which change weekly. We've never been disappointed. It's a big burrito for being on a medium flour tortilla. As I said, I pre-ordered everything on their online ordering system. My order was ready when I got there as promised. The staff member who helped me was super nice and pointed out where the hot sauce (Tapatio) and straws were. They do have separate windows for ordering and pickup. If you order online, just head to the pick-up window. It is a little spendy (breakfast sandwich w/ added meat $10.75, burrito w/ added sausage $12.75, and two espresso drinks at roughly $8 and some change), however, everything is going up in price (Gas is up to $5.09 +), so take that as you will. Overall, it's a cute little spot nestled in a neighborhood. There is street parking, but it's in an area that isn't too hard to find parking, as it is further away from the very busy spots of West Seattle. I'd come back, perhaps take the fiancée there so we can enjoy it fresh.
