Pilgrims coffeehouse was a delightful find. My girlfriend and I went on a Friday afternoon to get some coffee and get some work done. Pilgrim's has a great atmosphere. It isn't rowdy, loud, or in your face. It is a bit more subdued, calm, and relaxing. A perfect environment to get some work done. Quiet, but not awkward. We each got an iced Butterscotch Latte, hers with oat milk and they were both quite good! Love the flavor and the esspresso in the latte was balanced. One of the tastiest lattes in the OC! At first, the wifi was really slow for me, and that was disappointing. My girlfriend said it sped up for her. Might be a note for some people, but it didn't take away from the rest of the shop for me. In the end, it's a coffee house, not an Internet cafe so no point in writing a negative review based on WiFi. Would definitely recommend for atmosphere and quality of coffee! read more

Excellent study spot! One of the best in downtown Fullerton. It's not loud or too crowded, plenty of space and mid-sized tables, lots of outlets, and cool local art. A place you can really settle in and get work done. They played soft jazz and instrumental hip hope. Loved it. My hot americano was good although I've had better. Can't speak for the other drinks. They've really spruced this place up over the years with art and decor. Much more cozy now. read more

Love it here The big front windows provide lovely natural lighting for the whole store. The lighting is a nice contrast to the darker color interior color scheme. The colors are a very relaxing dark brown, grey, black pallet with dark wood accents in the back wall and tables. The space is very open. They also have framed works of art for sale around the store. Its a great studying spot as the TABLES ARE NICE AND BIG, there are OUTLETS available, the seating against the wall are nice and CUSHIONED. Though I'd love it if it stayed nice and quiet, I also believe in supporting local businesses and Pilgram's deserves a shout out. All the effort in the details mentioned above. What I love the most though is the chill QUIET music. nice classical jazz is played at a nice SOFT volume. The owner is so nice! He recommended me a mango smoothie. I asked him to pop in some strawberries for fun and it was delicious :) I also saw him help move a table when he saw 2 friends sharing a single table. Its in the small gestures that shows he cares. I came in in a Sunday afternoon (sunday close at 6pm). Though I only have a few hours to study I'd rather have a few hours in a quiet studying space rather than a late closing hustle and bustle spot. Hey everyone! So I FINALLY came here after nonchalantly peeking inside whenever I was in DTF. I was greeted by Tony the manager and he is literally the nicest person I've ever met. I didn't know what to order so after about 10 minutes of indecisive consideration, we finally came up with virtually a new recipe for me. It feels amazing to have someone handcraft a beverage for you. And although I'm sure in busier hours I may not be as lucky to get this personalized service, it sure was the amazing kindness I needed to kickstart my day. Thanks Tony!!! So anyways: he made me a different version of the house sweet cream. I tried it with less sugar and 1 pump of sugar free vanilla instead of regular. I also did it with oat milk instead of cream. And WOW! Does this drink knock my tastebuds out of the park. Definitely a home run! I'll be back. Even though I was hesitating to post this review because I want to keep this spot a hidden gem. Coffee is overpriced for the quality of it and my friend and I went regularly to do work there because it was the one of the only coffee shops opened for seating and we went almost every day. We consistently bought the coffee here even though it was overpriced and not that good but today the owner really had the audacity to come up to my friend while she was studying for an exam and told her that she was taking up too much space (she was just sitting at a table by herself) and that he needed space for when other customers came in. We always went to this shop and supported their mediocre coffee but we won't be coming back because that was rude and uncalled for. read more

Good coffee. I've been here twice and the guys that work here are super efficient. They were busy today but he handled every order calmly and quickly. Having worked at a coffee shop before, rushes can be hard, especially when you're manning the register, food, and all the drinks on your own. But he did a great job! I'm glad to have a place like this in downtown again. I'll for sure come here and pay for a drink every hour so I can work and have good coffee and friendly service. My sister and I decided to try this place out as a "study spot." Mind you, we will not be coming back. Drinks were mediocre and my sister ordered a green tea latte. She's had her fair share but this barista made it so that hers ended up being "gloppy" and not properly mixed in. I didn't have a good time since one of the customers and the barista decided to exchange conversations from opposite sides of the room, but hey you do you. There's a huge parking lot on the other side, on Wilshire across from ACE hardware that's 4 hours parking. You can walk through an alleyway and the coffee shop will be on the right hand side. They have free WiFi so that's good and plenty of seats, plus outlets everywhere. It's reasonably spaced out but I will not be coming back. read more
