Pete and the chicken teriyaki quesadilla
    Julia C.

Stumbled upon Pete's when visiting the British Depot next door. Pete is the owner and is a one man show. Everything is made fresh. While I was waiting for my strawberry banana smoothie someone else ordered the chicken teriyaki quesadilla and it was HUGE. Definitely will be back to try one of his grass fed burgers.

We were on our way to my father-in-law's funeral--a marine veteran and a retired Florida State Trooper of 35 years--when my boyfriend, a police academy graduate, noticed the thin blue line in Pineapple Pete's logo. It felt like a sign, so we decided to stop by. I'm so glad we did! I had the chicken fajita wrap with pasta salad (not pictured because I devoured it so quickly!). My boyfriend had the hamburger, which you can see in the photo. The owner was incredibly friendly, and he and my boyfriend hit it off, discussing law enforcement since the owner's family is also in the field. We really appreciate businesses that honor our law enforcement, and Pineapple Pete's is one of them. Unfortunately, the owner mentioned that he might not be open for much longer due to a lawsuit, so I highly recommend you go support this place while you can. It would be such a shame to lose such a great business! The food was awesome, and we can't wait to go back!

Pineapple Pete's is a cute little place which offers and serves all kinds of different goodies. We stopped in for breakfast and the owner suggested the $5.00 breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwiches are served on a bagel or croissant and comes with eggs, and your choice of meat and cheese. I ordered a bacon, egg and jalapeno jack cheese on a croissant and I was so happy with my choice. The sandwich was deliciously toasted. Pineapple Pete's also offers an array of vitamins, health foods and specialty items. I can't wait to try other items on the menu.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is delicious! Food is so fresh with many organic options for those looking for more healthy options. Everything is hand cooked to order. Highly recommend! Prices are extremely reasonable too. A really nice addition to the neighborhood.

Salmon burger and banana for dessert!

No way this stuff wasn't pre-made a while ago. Oh yeah, part of a banana and one strawberry. Despite what the waiter said, I could tell everything was pre-made. It's about the same quality as the free "continental breakfast" most cheap hotels offer except at the hotel it's still warm and you get refills on coffee and the waffle is freshly made and hot enough to melt butter. No free refills on coffee here unless you buy their "pour over," and then you get one small refill. The strainer for the coffee was stained and filthy when it was brought out, so they're not using fresh ones or even cleaning thoroughly between uses. GF had a meatless omelet and a smoothie. Her omelet was hot so obviously it was made fresh unlike mine. I told the waiter my food was cold and he swore he saw them "take it out of the oven," but nothing I ordered would be cooked in any over other than a microwave oven. Total bill for two: $60+. This was with a 30% discount on my plate for my food being served cold. Honestly you'll have a better, fresher meal at IHOP or Waffle House or Denny's, for a fraction of the price and you'll get coffee refills.

Once acknowledged we were provided waters for the tables. The waiter then goes missing for another 10-15mins. He's walking around as if he doesn't have a clue what's going on (big black guy, did not get his name). We finally order our food and it takes an additional 45-50min to get our food. When everyone's food came out my food was totally forgotten about and the waiter asked "did I get my food?", clearly not dude. When my food finally arrived I clearly lost my appetite with all that went on and the way my Benedict was slipped together I could have fed it to a group of pigs. Safe to say my experience was a nightmare here and I will never return nor anyone that I know. Nice concept but it's located in a terrible location. Service, food and hospitality needs work.

Upon scanning through the menu, my eyes zoned in on the thick Banana Pumpkin Seed Pound Cake and the right side of my mouth drooped slightly and began to salivate. It seemed like a win win decision so I paid the $4.00 and Dolly lightly heated the cake per my request. The cake slice was presented on a wooden serving paddle which was a nice touch. Found a seat at one of the simplistic slightly chipped black wood square tables accented by a lacquered mohogany chair with an ultra comfortable red faux ostrich cushion.
