I usually deal with places with great customer service but this was not one of those. Just got a delivery of half melted ice cream and cupcakes that were 4 days old. I called in about it and Morgan the manager on duty could care less and basically gave a fake apology about the situation and didn't say anything to resolve the situation. I ordered from your company tonight. Pink Dot. I was charged $10 for six wings, $8 for a cocktail - a Mojito - $3 for delivery $2.70 for a 15% tip. I was told that I needed to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour for my food to arrive. It took almost 2 hours but I wasn't upset about that. I know I wasn't the only one who wanted to eat at the time. Now here comes the problem I was brought cold chicken wings that are completely clumped together and are raw on the inside! that is extremely dangerous!. Now the weird part is instead of sending me the Mojito i oredered I have a liter of Finest Call Premium Sweet and sour mix. An entire liter! Wth??? I must say that this is one of the strangest things that I have ever seen, still I was a little upset but not too much now the major problem is the customer service. I called the restaurant to see how we could fix this problem and I was met with attitude and the distain. Like it was my fault they botched my order. The man flat-out lied and said they never delivered anything to the Days Inn I must mean that I'm at the Best Western I'm not at the Best Western I'm at the Days Inn. I know exactly where I'm at. Then he rushes me off the phone and tells me what he's going "to check into the matter" he'll call me he'll call me back hangs up . ???? never asked for my name, never asked what room number I was in, never asked what my phone number was so How was I supposed to get a call back??? He is a liar for no reason. Now it's been about 35 more minutes and I'm doubt I'm going to get a phone call back. I want my money back, this is by far the worst delivery I have ever experienced. I know that sometimes mistakes happen and orders are sometimes wrong. But the disrespect I received afterwards is completely unacceptable! $25 for some wings and a drink?! I should be able to eat and drink it! NOTHING they sent me was edible. I want my money back now!! I want them to come pick up whatever this crap is that they dropped off to me because now after his attitude I'm feeling like they purposely did that instead of it being a mistake. Unfortunately every single time I make an order, especially late night, their delivery takes forever. and when you call to check on your order they continually lie to you and say it's "On it's way, driver will be there in less than 5 minutes. when an order is supposed to take one hour and it takes two, that's ridiculous. This place is AWESOME. Last Saturday night we stayed at the Grafton Hotel across the road. We partied until 3am when I became extremely hungry and someone told us they do delivery. When I called they nice lady told me that they have turkey sandwiches and Im thinking gross, a 7-11 style pre made turkey sandwich, no thank you. When were they made I asked, but she continued to tell me that they are made fresh to order. I could not believe I could order a fresh turkey sandwich to my liking at 3am on a Sunday morning. I have had nothing but terrific service from the Good people at Pink Dot on Sunset. They always go out of their way to help me and they are either on time or early to deliver. Once in a blue moon they may run a little behind but it's rare and I'm patient. The traffic in LA is mad so I get it. Great concept but don't ever order more than 1 of the same item. they don't pay any attention to the quantities you order- they'll give you only one of the items but charge you for the 3or4 you ordered. It's happened the last 3 times! Yummy is so much better, faster and the delivery folks are so much more pleasant! read more

we have used pink dot all the time and we were spending a lot of money to get certain things delivered. what a surprise that when this time they brought the wrong item twice, and I called after the second time like "its ok you don't have to send it again just refund us for that money for our next order" they kept putting me on hold forever and not talking to me. I decided to create a Yelp account just so I could leave this review. Allow me to preface this rant by saying that I've ordered from Pink Dot SEVERAL times and have always had something wrong with my order. Usually items are left out, even though I had been charged for them, but other times I am given something completely different than what I had ordered. I suppose the only reason I continued ordering was essentially for late night convenience. This evening, after placing my order and having the confirmation say that the order should be delivered within an hour, I had to wait OVER 2 HOURS to receive it. The Pink Dot horror doesn't end there, unfortunately. The pasta was cold and mushy. (It was so wildly overcooked and mushy that I had to spit it out because it was so disgusting.) I wish I could say that this is where the bad experience ends, but it is not. The delivery driver took a carbon copy imprint of my credit card (quite archaic if you ask me, but who am I to judge, right?) When I asked him what security measures were in place in regards to him having my entire credit card number, exp. date, and address, he proceeded to tell me that he didn't know. (HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE. If a customer asks what the business does with their personal information/card info, EVERY employee should be able to answer that question. The customer has every right to know what you're doing with their info behind the scenes.) The only thing he said is that they have to make sure it isn't fraud. Wonderful... Let's see, wouldn't the first step to preventing fraud be to ask the customer for ID and match it to the name on the credit card? If you feel the need to follow-up with an impression of the card, go right ahead, but your processes are not cohesive between all members of your staff. I ended this awful experience by calling Pink Dot and expressing my dissatisfaction. Surprise, surprise...they couldn't tell me how they keep customer credit card information safe (Valid question, am I right?). Nothing was done about my cold, overcooked, mushy pasta, and the gentleman told me it was a very busy night and that all orders were running late. Moving forward, perhaps I should suggest that you quote more accurate delivery timelines when orders are placed. Being over an hour off on the approximate delivery window is unacceptable and unfair to your customers. read more

This Place sucks all of their food is made in a Microwave, the General Manager is never there and their prices are ridiculous. On the menu it says 30 to 45 for delivery but its more like 90 minutes. The next day i called yummy.com they are very professional and the food was on time as promised. I am glad that the Venice Location closed down and they sold the phone number to yummy.com. The way the sunset location operates i wouldn't be surprised if that phone number gets sold to yummy.com as well. read more

Pink Dot is a great little convenience store on the Sunset Strip. Walking distance from a lot of the hotels. Good selection of stuff at convenience store prices. Closes too early though. Would be great if 24-hours or at least open til 4. read more

Wish I could give a negative review because this is just such horseshit! I ordered nearly two and a half hours ago and finally, FINALLY, got the dumbass at my door. I called twice - the first about 75min after ordering and was put on hold for ten minutes, then again for another 4 after this douche on the other end didn't realize he put someone on hold. Said they'd be there in 5-10min. Called back after 30 minutes and they couldn't find the order! Being more patient than I should have, I walked this new guy through the process of asking someone who knew how the fuck to do his job and finally was told they should be here any minute. i would give this place 0 if i could! they are a disorganised mess! when my food arrived (an hr late) my icrecream was melted, the order was mixed up and the delivery man tried to give me the wrong bag, lucky I looked inside! he didn't know what he was doing and was really out of it. After my review 'Sharlene" from "customer service" contacted me on yelp and advised me they would credit me $25 for the bad service.. She does not seem to exist, after saying she would put credit on my account at pink dot, when i called noone knows of her, not even the owner! This is a scam, so beware. There is no customer service department at all the owner advised me. I would steer clear of this place. WARNING!!! Do not order from these guys. I thought I'd give them another chance after the last time I ordered a few items (when one item was "incorrect" ("regular" instead of "diet") and another was missing entirely, and after several attempts at getting a partial refund, was essentially told to go to hell!). Today's order came...and the same thing happened again! Unbelievable. I phoned and asked to speak to the manager (and not the dork who couldn't even get my three-letter name right); the manager apparently didn't think my order problem was important enough to discuss, as the dork came back on the line and simply told me I'd have to wait another six hours for a redelivery (instead of simply giving me credit for the restaurant's mistake). Now the truly disgusting "capper," as if I needed another reason never to order from these guys again: I was about to throw away one of the items that had gotten cold, when I noticed what looked like a hair half-way stuck in the plastic snap-on lid; I opened the container for the heck of it...and what that hair was attached to was the grossest thing I've ever seen in or on a plate of food! Terrible. I just ordered from here tonight- the margarita pizza was some of the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. I actually couldn't eat it because it was so gross. and it had only had one piece of basil which was the size of my pinky nail on it. they also forgot the side of sour cream for my baked potato. when I called the restaurant the guy on the line said "there's not much I can do about it since you ordered online." Unbelievable!!! there are several things he could have done. he then offered to have a guy come out after their dinner rush and bring me a side of sour cream, saying "we're just really busy right now." so, first they messed up my order, and then they had completely rude customer service to top it off, and did nothing about it. do not order from here. just an absolutely awful experience overall and it cost almost $50!!!! I CANNOT tell you how impressed I am with "Pink Dot", Sunset, and, especially, the Manager, Saul...I experienced a problem, yesterday, with an order...I didn't quite understand the suggestions given to me, regarding the use of a coupon...I hung up the phone, quite upset, and sent an e-mail...Saul phoned me today, and was very apologetic...He explained what had occurred and it was merely a misunderstanding...He was the MOST professional, knowledgeable, courteous and kind "proprietor" that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with...He not only reimbursed me for the coupon, but doubled its value...I cannot wait to mention this to my students, at Fairfax High School... I just want to say that this is a sorry excuse for a business. The fact that several of their locations have shut down is a sign of this. The employees are completely unprofessional and the owner, Sol, treats people as if they are peons. He talks to them rudely and chases people away from him. You can attract far more bees with honey than vinegar. He doesn't realize he is a reflection of the business and that rudeness and hostility will carry your reputation to the grave. I'm a long time customer of Pink Dot. Obviously was a fan since I've been a customer for over 10 years. Things have since changed. Lately there have been many mistakes. When ordering the rep always repeats the order - it is correct yet when the order arrives there are other items in the bag and I'm over charged on my credit card. They promise a refund yet it never happens. My bank says Pink Dot has not put in for a credit to my card. This has happened 4 times! Recently we order a six-pack of sodas. Two of the six cans are empty! The cans are sealed tight...haven't been open yet empty. Pink Dot says its not their fault. Its true they aren't responsible for filling the cans but surely they can tell the cans are full - they are light and you can here there is little soda in the can. Pink Dot doesn't do anything to fix the issue. Offer to replace them or even honor the request to have them replaced. What's happened Pink Dot?! You used to be great. read more
