I was recommended by a friend to check out pink dot for there sandwiches; I have to say that they were great! I was so glad I stopped by for lunch but the great food was not all. The service given by the cashier named Selme is so worth mentioning. She was so patient but at the same time professional. She really knows her wines, gave me the a quick rundown of options. Honestly I used to always order pink dot when I was lazy and wanted to stay home and the delivery service was always so quick, however when I ordered a few weeks ago it took over an hour for my sandwich to arrive. so i heard they have new management now, and i've recently started using his service again and the cusomer service has improved.

These guys are the worst. Not only will I NEVER order from them again, I will let all of my friends know not to order from them as well. I sent an order with the correct address, (which is the hotel I work at), they made me wait a total of 2 hours for my order after they made the mistake. Not only were they EXTREMELY RUDE on the phone, when I informed them that I worked at the front desk so all the driver had to do was walk inside to give me my order, the RUDE phone rep insisted that they wouldn't have delivered it without a room number. I put a note on one of the main items that it would be delivered to the front desk. So all in all I had to wait 2 hours for an order that should have realistically taken 30 minutes. (I work less then a block away from their location) Horrible service with some of the worst customer service I have dealt with in a long time. Will NEVER EVER order from them again in my life. I was stranded at a friends house, no car, no food...I was doomed. Then I remembered my friend's recommendation for Pink Dot that was in the area. I quickly googled their website only to find myself 10 mins later buying food AND groceries/products I was planning to buy eventually...one stop shop for sure! And boy was I pleased that they can hand deliver me a six pack of beer! My order came relatively fast, within 30 min (I guess it might have not been that busy, or their customer service really stepped up, definitely a lot better than what has been said in the other reviews). I ordered a chicken panini sandwich, chips, beer, cigarettes (for my friend, of course, ew not me!), body wash and eye drops. The sandwich came on a freshly baked baguette loaf and was real tasty, definitely a lot more than what I expected from a delivery-grocery-store type sandwich. Ordered Pink Dot for the first time tonight. I ordered the 12 piece chicken meal as I thought this would be enough, nice chicken for a few days of meals between my boyfriend and I. Unfortunately, (and this is my fault for not checking) but the chicken was fried rather than grilled or baked or whatever. Not the worst case scenario, I could just peel off some of the batter. I tucked into a couple of pieces of chicken after peeling off the batter as best I could and it was disgusting. The chicken was just so fatty, oily and gross. It left a greasy film in my mouth. I've ordered from the Pink Dot over the years for convenience. Yes, that comes at a price - but it's better than not having the option when it's late and you don't want to go out. The last two phone orders I made were handled by a guy named Jeff. Both times he assured me that the orders would be right (they haven't always been in the past and that pisses me off) and that he personally would see to it. I normally would never take time to write a review, but I thought I would because this guy was personable, knowledgable and kept his word on making sure the orders were right...and he made me laugh too. Some people I've talked to there in the past don't want to give you the time of day. I have been a long time customer of Pink Dot in West Hollywood, and was treated very poorly by an employee named "Mark". He was arrogent, unprofesional, and rude while I was trying to place an order. I then asked to speak to a manager, and was told by another employee "Rafeal" that he was the manager at the time, and put me on hold. On my third phone call I finally reached the actual manager "Nadia" who did nothing but apologize for there (in my opinion) incompetent employee. I will never shop at PINK DOT in WEST HOLLYWOOD again, and I hope you wont either. Almost first time user - sooo disappointed and do not recommend at all. Unfortunately, sick in bed, I thought to order food and drinks that one needs. I first called to check if my address "was within delivery limits", and a man said I was. Placed a fairly large order online, paid, received email confirmation and waited. 2.5 hours later I called the store and no order was "received", passed from person to person to person, waited numerous times and was hung up on. Three hours later, no one on the phone tried to reconcile the situation: take another order, an apology, a discount, absolutely nothing - completely lacking good business practice sense. Finally when I received a person again, I insisted to cancel the order and provide me with a confirmation # of the cancelation. They couldn't do it, "no one was available", excuse, excuse, excuse. WOW, now I have to follow up the next day with my cc company. Basically, what they think they offer - they hardly delivered on and it's a bad impression for what could have been "first - time" customer. read more
