Chat, I found my new favorite Jokbal restaurant in ktown! After being disappointed by some older Jokbal restaurants Pink Pig definitely came through and delivered some tasty and quality food tonight. Restaurant is very well lit, reminds me of a pub. Went on a Sat night and not much traffic inside, was seated immediately. Menu is vast and easy to understand and decided on the bento portioned jokbal + fried jokbal. The fried jokbal took the show! So tasty and was a first for me! The owner explained this is something that is new and is the first restaurant in ktown to have it on their menu apparently! Absolutely delicious. Came with a variety of different side dishes that was so good and complimented the main dish. Dish wasnt gamy or tough. Meat was very tasty and chewy and had a lot of flavor. My go-to restaurant now. Owner gave some freebies which was so nice of her and gave some recommendations for next time. Definitely will be back. I finally found a new place for jokbal again. Recommended items: -fried jokbal: 9.2/10 -regular jokbal: 8.8/10 Parking is limited as you have street parking only. There is a small lot behind the restaurant but very tight and a bit tough to get out as its one way only.

Tried Pink Pig Jokbal in K-town and it was such a fun dinner spot. We ordered the $69 combo with spicy jokbal and crispy fried jokbal, and everything was super flavorful and tender. Wrapping the pork in lettuce with all the side dishes was honestly the best part. The boneless spicy chicken feet were addictive too. Perfect place to grab drinks and hang out with friends. Portions are big and great for sharing. Definitely coming back!

We had a great time at pink pig and everything taste so delicious. I felt we just traveled back to Korea and the service was amazing. The resturant felt really cozy and my favorite fish was their braised pork. The owner is really nice and she provides exceptional service to all customers. It's a must try if you have not had it before. Thank you Pink pig for your hospitality.

One of the best Jokbal spots in ktown! Their serving size is incredible and original jokbal is their best! Their jokbal combo half half is a must order, it comes with alot of size that are refillable and make a lettuce wrap is amazing! Also their mussel soup is insanely good too perfect to ease the grease! Their service is fast too.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for so long! Finally got to go this past Sunday with my family! The manager was so accommodating and served us everything so quickly :) We had the half regular and half spicy (mild) jokbal that came with so many amazing side dishes! We also got to try their signature dish the fried jokbal. Everything was so delicious! The meat was so tender and seasoned so well! Definitely killed my craving for some good Korean Pig Feet! We will absolutely come back for more of their jokbal!

Went to dinner my wife and 2 kids, and the food was amazing, especially the spicy one. The owners said they used real peppers rather than the spicy chemical. The level of spicy is just fine but not too crazy. Also, the kids love the regular one with seaweed rice. The owners (mother and daughter) are operating and managing the business directly on the site, and they are very friendly and kind. Dine-in and take-out are all OK, and definitely a must-go place~

Wow... found a hidden gem...(recently opened)... If you like a Korean Jokbal... or wanna try new trendy jokbal.(fried jokbal) .. you gotta come here!!! Nice vibe. .friendly service...and awesome foods!!!

Ordered the fried Jokbal and the original jokbal combo! Both tasted great and there are a lot of side dishes included in the combo. I would say it serves 2-3 people. It's on a slight further location in Ktown but I will definitely come back

At a super popular jokbal spot in Hongdae, Korea , and guess what -- you can now get the same style in LA! It's gotten so popular that there's already a line on weekends. What we ordered: Original Jokbal + Fried Jokbal Set ($68) The portion is huge -- easily enough for 3-4 people. Original Jokbal The pig skin is cleaned really well. The texture is tender and gelatinous but not mushy, and the meat is still firm. Wrap the thicker pieces with lettuce and kimchi -- it cuts the richness perfectly. Fried Jokbal (my favorite!) The outside is super crispy, and it flakes apart when you pick it up. Inside it's still soft and juicy -- that crispy-outside, tender-inside contrast is amazing. Not greasy at all, and it gets more flavorful the more you eat. They also cut it into small bite-size pieces, which makes it really easy to eat. The extra dishes were all solid too Mussel Soup Light and slightly spicy -- really refreshing and appetizing. The mussels were very clean with no fishy taste. Potato Pancake Crispy outside and soft inside. The kids loved it -- basically gone in minutes. Boneless Chicken Feet with Cheese We ordered mild spicy, but it was actually pretty spicy Very flavorful and soft in texture. The banchan spread was impressive They bring out a whole row of side dishes: kimchi, glass noodles, pickled radish, bean sprout soup... Wrap the jokbal with lettuce, add some kimchi and noodles -- one bite is pure satisfaction. The only downside: they only open for dinner! I honestly wish I could eat this for lunch too. Not exaggerating -- it's the kind of place that makes you want to plan your second visit immediately.

A truly delicious jokbal (Korean braised pig's feet) spot has finally opened in Koreatown, LA! I've tried jokbal at many places before, but was always left a bit disappointed -- until now. This place finally delivers the real taste I've been craving. The owner brought an original recipe from Korea and put a lot of time and effort into recreating the authentic Hongdae flavor -- and you can really taste the difference. The owner is incredibly kind, and the menu includes spicy jokbal, crispy fried jokbal, bossam, and other unique dishes you won't find elsewhere. Pink Pig Korean Jokbal, wishing you huge success!

Delightful new spot that quite literally just opened in K-town (6/24 was their very first day) -- We live around the corner and saw they were finally open so popped in on a whim~ Tried their spicy jokbal with the cheese filled rice cakes add-on as well as their signature fried jokbal, both A++, super tender meat and well rendered so nothing felt overly greasy. Would absolutely recommend the fried jokbal as I believe this is the only jokbal spot in ktown that currently makes this -- super friendly and welcoming staff too! **also, from 6/24-6/27 their entire menu is 30% off as a grand opening promo!

Tried Pink Pig during weekend. Super cute inside -- all pig-themed -- and the $68 combo was honestly a steal. We got the spicy + fried jokbal and both were amazing. The spicy one was addicting, and the fried one was crispy outside, soft inside... dangerous. Plus tons of sides, lunchbox rice, cold noodles, soup -- everything was fresh and tasty. The owner is so sweet too and explained they braise everything fresh every day. Huge portions, great vibes, good prices. 100% worth a visit!

What seemed like a deceptively simple bowl was one of the most delicious and flavorful meals I've had - I'll be thinking about my bowl for a long time. I got the plain kalgaksu, mainly because it included pork potstickers. The anchovy broth isn't fishy (which I was concerned about), it's deep and full in a way that's hard to describe. It penetrates the noodles and potatoes well. The broth is similar if not the same between most bowl types. The cold noodles were also delicious, which a couple of my friends ordered. Quite large portions, as just about everyone had to take some home. They also have bibimbap if you're craving a rice based meal instead. I can't wait to come back - maybe not on a Saturday night next time so I don't have to look so long for parking!

I really wanted authentic Korean food that was not kbbq and not tofu and this place delivered! This restaurant is in a small strip mall. The strip mall has other Korean food options. They have a valet parking system of sorts but we didn't pay, we self parked. The attendant told us we were fine. It was approx 9pm when we arrived and also a week night. I have no idea how much valet parking is here. We were a small party of two. Upon arrival, we were notified they were out of RICE. Um..what?? That's a good problem (for them to have) but not for consumers. I feel this really limited our options to just soup. I honestly didn't want soup but there wasn't much else we could order. The bowls were large and came out piping hot. It was a satisfying meal and not too heavy. The price point was on the pricey side. Our waiter told us business has not been the same post covid. Some dishes are between $40-$60. I asked for a soup and they were able to make it less spicy. My friend got a soup with dumplings in it. He put a good amount of soy sauce to give the broth some life. Also, the banchan is on point. We asked for a refill and devoured the second portions. If you wanna impress friends with Korean food, bring them here! Its a casual place.

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
