    Fish egg soup

A little gem of a restaurant where a lot of locals seem to frequent! We ordered fish and fish egg soup, which were both tasty :)

Love every dish that we tried last week. Even the side dishes are good as well. This is as authentic as it gets since every single customer seems Korean.

It's a small restaurant in K town. The fish we had is very fresh, the cooking method is simple and it just tastes good. The kimchi might be home made, different from the industrial flavor that you got from the Asian market. The most surprising dish a hand pull dough soup - the chewy noodle, the sweetness of different vegetables, the umami soup cooked with dried anchovies... no meat in the soup, but the advantages of different ingredients are maximized in that soup. It was so good that we did not even take a picture before it was gone.

Loved the seasoning in the cutlass fish sauté. The fish itself was a little dry but tofu and radish tasted delicious. Variety of tasty side dishes. Friendly service. Looking forward to trying different dishes next time we are in town.

I went to pickup for takeout, but the ambiance feels like an old-school, cozy, mom-and-pop Asian diner. The staff were just lovely and personable even though there was a little bit of a language barrier. They were nonetheless able to try their best to accommodate my dietary needs and make my dish to order within 20 minutes. Even though it took another 20 minutes or more to get home, the food was still piping hot and well packaged to not spill. I would probably order something else plainer next time personally because I think I did have a little bit of an allergic reaction so am guessing some of the prepared ingredients they use might already have my allergens in them. I do not know if I have the most discerning palate for authenticity and never met a kimchee stew I didn't like, but their kimchee stew was richly flavorful, as well as affordable. The included rice was also cooked to perfect doneness and just the right texture. I would certainly return to try dine-in with friends or family. Looks like their lot is valet parking, though there seems to be plentiful metered street parking in the area, and it is just one block away from the metro station.

Pretty much amazing. My husband randomly picked this place based on Google Reviews and just drove up. It's in a strip with many other Korean places so I really am not sure if we went into the one he originally found online or not all I know is the food was amazing! Whenever you order, the lady brings you out a container divided into a bunch of different sections, all filled with different sides. They were all delicious and we ate them all up. Also, the food in general was just delicious. We couldn't take any of it home but we had no problem eating the majority of it. Only two dishes and the side were enough to fill us all up. The noodles are hard to share but the lady brought us some scissors and that made it easy. I've never cut noodles with scissors before so it was a neat experience. Loved: - Sides: all of them - Marinated Beef Liked: - Noodles: Fried Vegetables and Beef

As you can see from the photos, I got WAY too excited to eat because the food looked and smelled so good that I forgot to take a photo until I was already halfway through the meal. But, let me just tell you, the food is absolutely phenomenal. The restaurant is located in Koreatown, and has the best cozy/homey vibe. The people working there were all so nice and friendly, made me feel so welcome. I came on Christmas Day with my family and it was actually pretty busy but they still had a table for us. They served us immediately. We ordered a bunch of different items like the bulgogi, bibimbap, seafood pancake, and a spicy octopus dish. They brought out some extra items for us as a gift which was super nice!!! We got to try a fried fish and their sujebi (a korean noodle soup). All their sides dishes were so delicious and they kept refilling them since my fiance kept eating all the kimchi, haha Overall, I highly recommend!!! Amazing food, the kindest staff, and the most welcome vibes!

This place is so amazing. I got the Kimchi Stew and it was so delicious. I want to have it again soon. The restaurant had this "mom+pop" ambiance which was pretty legit. It*s not fancy but it is worth checking out.

The restaurant was kind of small but it was clean. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! Seafood kalguksu 9/10: it was def filled with various seafoods. I do wish that for this large plate they gave us more cabbage. We ended up ordering more for $5 but I think it should be included given the amount of meat. Parking was valet and it's a small lot. I enjoy the squash and potatoes that they put in their noodles though sometimes the potato is less mushy/cooked through than what I prefer. The portion sizes are generous so definitely come hungry or you can share as well. I've tried their bossam and jowl combo as well and both are definitely great in their own way, but I absolutely love the minced garlic sauce that comes with the jowl. The jowl is a fattier cut while the bossam is meatier.

It's a huge space that gave more industrial vibe to me than traditional Taiwanese theme, but it's totally a very convenient dining spot for both small and big group. We tried some from the menu and were pleased by all of them. They might look small but very filling actually since all the bowls were filled to top. The Dan Dan noodles have flavorful peanut sauce with it perfect noodles texture. Would recommend add extra sides for proteins, which we opted for pork belly and minced pork. The belly was extremely tender with thick juicy slices. The minced pork was equally palatable. They're generous in portion for being sides, we even packed some home. We obviously didn't skip their Hakka Mochi for dessert, which were still warm chewy yet moist when served and covered in overflowing black sesame and peanut powder. I wasn't usually a fan of black sesame but decided to give this one a try anyway and ending up no regrets at all! The powder was such spoiling mix of sweet and salty in one bite.

Dashi was VERY good. Generous amount of grated daikon. Assort. Tempura: Saw this being served while waiting. Looked really good and it WAS! Large shiitake mushroom. Fan cut Japanese eggplant, kabocha pumpkin, shrimp tempura & two (2) shiso leaves. All VERY crisp not oily. Warm dashi side had deep umami rich flavor.
