He wouldn't look at my phone to see it. Management or the male hostess would look me in the eye when talking to me and they dismissed me to the bar. I would hate to think this was racially motivated. I flew from Detroit with my friends for a nice evening only to be dismissed. I won't be recommending or returning to this place. I don't think this is a safe place for Black women. read more

Entrance is beautiful super casual, had to wait a little bit was busy so we sat at the bar had a French Martini & a Moscow Mule, I ordered the New York Strip for my main course & my date got the rock shrimp my waitresses is Fernanda she was very attentive overall not to bad for a new spot not a lot of mistakes it went smoothly it's fine dinning at its finest. My bill for two came out $300 with tax not that bad for the culinary experience and we had a few drinks. The drinks can use some help definitely need a few experienced bar tenders there to show the youngsters to mix those drinks. Overall a bit pricey but food,service, clutch drinks can definitely use more experienced help but I'll definitely come back. read more

Here recently for a Grad Dinner. The place is nice, it's in an unassuming location and has velvet as well as self parking. Once I side it's visually stunning but not very welcoming. It's Instagram worthy so if that's your thing you will love it. We went on a Sunday night and were surprised that they run a Buy one get one free on Sundays. That's something we did not expect. The server rolled it out and said if you buy a Waygu Tommahawk you get one free. So, buy a $280 steak and you get one free. Naturally my son and his friend both got it. Everyone else ordered and the food was good, not what I would describe as the best steak in town but good nonetheless. We did enjoy everything so I'm really not bashing the food. When the bill arrived I was surprised at the way they applied the buy one deal. We paid full price for the Tommahawk's and they took off the 3 lowest priced steaks. Honestly that's fine if that is the policy but when you are told one thing and another is done it really does diminish the experience. I can't say the service was bad but as others point out it is not up to the caliber or price point of the product. Train the staff and if you run a special make sure your staff presents it in a way that is not misleading. I'll stick to Okeechobee or Cap Grill. It's a one and done kind of spot. read more

3 stars for pink steak. Very weird place for a steak restaurant- it's in a shopping center and half of the building is legit sitting in the parking lot where you can hear the nearby train/brightline. We had a reservation and were sat right away- I requested a booth but was told they don't have those for party's of 4. We were sat outside which is basically the porch in the parking lot and not air conditioned. They have fans and the doors open for some air flow. (They are the same owners as avocado grill in palm beach gardens) This was the darkest restaurant we've ever been to. Bring a flashlight! We had escargot and hamachi crudo both of which were just ok. The steak did have good flavor but the price for what you get is NOT worth it. As first timers with a reservation it would've been nice to be sat inside where the ambience seemed much more pleasant. Prior to arriving, we carefully reviewed the restaurant's dress code, which stated business casual. While unusual, we respected it. The policy listed no athletic sneakers, ripped jeans, hats, etc. My husband followed these rules. Despite this, we were turned away because his jeans had patches, which were not mentioned anywhere in the stated dress code. The situation became increasingly frustrating as management continuously shifted their reasoning. First, we were told he was not wearing a collared shirt , he clearly was and showed the manger he was! Then they claimed his shoes were "gym shoes," which they were not; they were designer shoes. Finally, they settled on his jeans as the reason we would not be seated. At that point, I asked the hostess to cancel my reservation and not charge my card, since we were present and actively being denied entry. I was then told she needed to ask the manager if it was "okay" to cancel without charging us. Absolutely unacceptable. If a restaurant turns guests away from their reservation, charging them should never even be a question. The inconsistent enforcement of the dress code and the lack of professionalism from management completely ruined what should have been a pleasant evening. We ended up at Bourbon on Atlantic ave and had an amazing dinner there! read more

We arrived at the restaurant for our 8:00 reservation for eight guests. Upon arrival, I informed the manager that our party was actually seven, and the reservation was adjusted accordingly. At the time, I did not anticipate this would cause issues, but it unfortunately led to a very chaotic experience. We were then seated outside, despite having originally reserved indoor seating. After multiple back-and-forth conversations, we felt pressured to accept the outdoor table. Given that my mother was with us and is currently recovering from surgery, and that it was already time to eat and everyone was hungry, my sister agreed to remain seated rather than move my mother again at the last minute. When the General Manager became involved, the situation was handled poorly. Instead of being accommodating, we were told that because the reservation was changed from eight to seven, the restaurant could not accommodate us indoors. This was both confusing and disappointing, especially considering that keeping the reservation at eight would have avoided the issue altogether. The interaction with the GM and another staff member left a very tasteless impression. That said, one of the managers was extremely kind and professional, and our server did their best to make up for the earlier chaos, which we truly appreciated. Overall, the experience was disappointing due to how the situation was handled, particularly given that my mother is recovering from surgery and my nieces had driven in from Orlando to join us. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and handles similar situations with more care and flexibility in the future. read more

So I was back visiting my parents in Palm Beach Florida and someone mentioned this restaurant just opened up and that I had to go check it out since it has great steak. Well I took that with a grain of salt as there are so many great steak restaurants in Palm Beach just like in Vegas etc. When we went on their third night of being open, my family and I were blown away! This place is really cool it's not like any other place you've been to with everything themed in pink and gold flamingos the oysters come out in trees that are pink lamps or pink lights or pink the staff are wearing pink ties etc. Most importantly, the food is absolutely amazing. The service was incredible and we had a very enjoyable meal when I ordered the lobster risotto as I've done other places, there's a full lobster that came in the bowl with the risotto! The manager at the front door appeared to enforce the dress code inconsistently and in a way that felt discriminatory. Our group was turned away due to the stated policy of "no shorts, no tank tops, and no sneakers," which we respected. One member of our party was wearing luxury Christian Dior sneakers, dress pants, and a black shirt--an outfit that we believed met the standard. However, while we were still at the entrance, we observed a woman being allowed in wearing a tank top, leggings, and Nike sneakers, followed by a man in shorts and New Balance sneakers. Another manager, an African American older gentleman, also comes by and asks how my food was. I explained my displeasure to which he said "sorry to hear that" and walked away. Upon issuing a complaint with the restaurant the general manager, I believe his name was Carlos, called me. He said he would look into the matter and get back to me the same day. A few days later they never called, did not respond to emails. When I called they told me the manager I dealt with said my food was cooked correctly and even offered me a new steak. None of this ever happened. They told me they needed to investigate further, would not refund me for the steak and if they saw fit would then "invite" me back. The manager was grossly inappropriate and pretentious to insinuate that I was lying over a STEAK after my bill for a single person was $200+. HARD PASS! The vibe was great, towards the later part of our dinner, the restaurant began to play music and a musician came out playing the sax. My husband and I sat at the bar, we were greeted by the bartender Tim. He gave us a menu and got us settled with some drinks. We danced around the menu trying a bit of everything. The plates are small but perfect for sharing. By the time we got to our main course we decided to split the nightly special, 14oz bone in filet. We ordered mushrooms and creamed spinach to go along side of our main, all steaks are served à la carte. Being that we weren't overly full we decided to get a dessert and I was happy we did. An almost too pretty to eat a banana tiramisu came out in a glass. It was the perfect finish to our perfect dinner date. Christian was our server and I never had better service. He fulfilled everything we asked him for immediately. the tuna appetizer in the little cones were exceptional. everyone loved their drinks and entrees. Such a fun find in West Palm Beach! We enjoyed a celebratory birthday dinner here although they didn't do anything special for that (maybe if we ordered dessert). But we split the Chef Aaron's Steak Experience which was totally worth it. Everything is pretty much a la carte so don't expect to cheap out at this spot. The meat was good and cooked to perfect temperature but the food never really came out "hot". We also ordered a side of tasty truffle fries. You can skip the sushi and the appetizers as they're incredibly small for their price, and go straight to the sides and meal. The steak tartare was good and the Umami Mami roll was too but they were unusually small. The inside decor is totally Florida and very fun with pink and green accents. It was very clean inside but the outside had a weird smell so after we were originally seated outside, we asked for a table inside and was seated at a small high top. Now the small high top was cute but because we ordered the steak experience, they had to push a second table next to us (good thing it was empty). Managers are amazing! They're so on top of checking in on us and one even gave me a small box of chocolates since I was wearing pink! I adored that little detail. Our server was nice. She didn't seem the most professional with her approach in serving us but she never rushed us during our meal which I thought was great. That being said, I'm not sure why every restaurant feels the need to offer sushi...I would have like if they had some more beef items other than the torched tenderloin sushi roll and carpaccio. PS Roll: the best of all of them but it was drowned in an over powering citrus sauce Torched tenderloin roll: definitely nothing to write home about Eel and foie gras roll: same, but the crunchy asparagus is the only lasting impression. Rock Shrimp: ok glad I asked for sauce in the side as it didn't need much. Waiter recommended the chocolate cake instead of the white chocolate matcha cake ... well it wasn't cake at all, more like fudge brownie. We had it to go and after waiting and waiting for my dessert, I had to ask about it to find they messed up and canceled the ticket. And although we asked for the ice cream to be put on the side, they put it on top of the warm fudge so we had a cream puddle when we got home! Wasn't very impressed at all. read more

We have visited 3 times. Each visit food quality seems to decline. Menu is limited- we order the rock shrimp each time and it is tasty. I ordered my steak medium rare, it came out medium well. Took a good amount of time for them to remake it- others in our group were 3/4 finished by the time it came. Second steak cooked better but quality and flavor lacking. Asparagus overcooked and the "truffle" was completely missing from the hollandaise. Had one of the most customer unfriendly experiences at Pink Steak. Manager Carlos could not have been more rude or unhelpful. The entire restaurant was empty when we arrived, but he insisted on seating us at an outdoor table, staring at a wall with no air-conditioning on a hot summer Florida evening. When we politely asked for a table indoors, he pointed out that we had made our reservation to only sit outside. When we asked whether a table could be made available indoors, he summarily and brusquely rejected our request. We sat there for the next two hours in an empty restaurant. Longing for the Air Conditioning that was only a few feet away. This is our third visit here, and we have noticed a consistent decline in the quality of the food as well. Not a great experience all around. Lots of great restaurants with hospitable service all around the area in Palm Beach and West Palm Beach. Treat yourself to a better evening elsewhere. read more

Nestled away in a shopping center off Dixie Highway lies this cool steakhouse. Warm and inviting entry like a nightclub, with really friendly staff was most appreciated. The decor is trendy and chic with a gigantic flamingo and other themed touches. I came for Happy Hour and I highly recommend it! The two times tuna roll was tasty with a nice jalapeño kick, eel & foie gras roll was good as well, and of course their truffle fries were delish! This was the let down of the year..and it's only February. My friends and I went to celebrate a birthday on a Monday and unanimously decided this place was a flop. Ill start off with the pros, saying the decor is absolutely stunning, chic, and trendy but my praise ends there. We had a reservation but when we got there had to wait in line. As I am next, a couple walks in, walks right up to the host stand the host looks through me and starts taking care of them. Off to a rocky start. We are then seated in the darkest dining room I've ever been to and given a menu. We took turns using the table light to read the menu as we waited for our waiter. And waited. And waited. 20 minutes later someone finally came by to pour water and ask for drinks. When no one ordered a drink our wait continued as it felt like our server wasn't taking our table seriously. When he finally came to take our order he didn't welcome us, talk about food or the menu or anything. Just right to business. We ordered apps and entrees not knowing when we would see him again and of course wasn't until the food came. The food. I can overlook a neglectful server and chuck it up to them being busy but I can't justify a 60 dollar steak I have to smother in their $6 sauces to get some flavor. I we as dying for some salt they refuse to keep on the table. But of course the server never came back to check on us so there was no chance of asking for any either. All of us ordered the filet and one side so we could try a bunch per their "shareable" status on the menu. Clearly we have a difference in opinion on what shareable means because my sons fisher price pots and pans would hold a bigger serving size than their adorable mini Dutch ovens. Think I'm dramatic? Three of these portions fit in a small app plate which is how they serve it. We got sweet potatoes, spinach, mushrooms, asparagus, and patatas bravas. My friend asked what everyone's favorite side was and I thought to myself that I really didn't have one. The spinach was okay, the asparagus were cold and undercooked, the mushrooms were just mushrooms and the sweet potatoes just tasted like goat cheese. The patatas were only ones I considered to be some what good but still wasn't impressed. Back to the steaks. I mean I think it was cooked right but it was so dark I couldn't really see. The flavor just tasted like the grill. I normally don't put anything on my steak but I snagged a chimichurri for flavor which was good at first but then just tasted like oil. I tried the horse radish but that just tasted like a horse radish flavored sour cream. We were ready to try some dessert but after the drawn out wait in the beginning and the underwhelming dinner we didn't feel like wasting anymore time or money at this place. I read some reviews before going now wish so badly now I listened. We thought maybe it's because they are new but I think they just honestly don't care. They hit us with a 20% auto gratuity at the end. I know it's common but after only seeing this guy three times just felt like he didn't care cause he was getting his tip either way. So heed the one star warnings. Service from the host and servers are rough. The food was sub par and incredibly over priced. If you do go, bring a flashlight. read more

So the decor and the atmosphere is totally off the chain and they must have spent about a bazillion dollars to make this gorgeous gorgeous place. That being said, this very pricey food is, sadly, pretty average. Got the filet $57 for a petite with a (paid) side of not-quite- ripe asparagus drowned in a very average sauce. Dessert was awesome as we shared a generous sized portion of banana Tiramisu and it was extremely tasty. Drinking on the high side of Palm Beach prices which are already on the high side of prices. They pretty much started at $18 and went as high as 28 for their crafted cocktails. Sat at the bar so the bartender was our server and service was satisfactory but not over the top. It seems like they are trying to go for a fine dining establishment judging by the pricing, the menu, the uniforms, and the table cloth restaurant look.... but, since there is still a TV present, I'm deducting an automatic half point. IMHO true restaurants should not have televisions. Those should be reserved for family restaurants and sports bars, not a place where I'm going to spend $125 ahead on the low side. read more

I was taken to Pink yesterday by a friend who has gone several times since newly opened. While the decor was kind of hip, the service was sub-par and the noise level was uncomfortably loud, making it impossible to have a conversation. After we paid the bill, our waiter, Khalid asked us to leave because they needed our table as the restaurant had neglectedly overbooked. What was odd was we were going to stay for an aperitif, but he would not hear of it. I will not return to Pink and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Wait staff was excellent and attentive.....where this place lacked is the noise level is VERY loud as many people come there to 'celebrate' one mileststone or another and....Food was ok...not great. For $200+ a couple with NO DRINKS other than Pelligrino and no dessert, you could do much better at NY Prime in Boca or Galligers as well. Steak was NOT prime in our opinion...and lacked that 'steakhouse' look and taste that you would expect from a place with this price tag. For us....it's a one and done. My wife and I just had dinner at this restaurant. We made a reservation and were welcomed when we arrived at the host stand to check-in. We were seated for dinner and had a lovely exchange with all of the wait staff. The issue we have was with the host who checked us in (but not until we paid our bill and were leaving) and the unnamed manager who reportedly directed her to chastise us on our attire when we were leaving. We paid approximately $400.00 of our money on dinner which included a 22 percent tip of $70.00 because we enjoyed the service of the wait staff. While we were waiting for our uber pick-up the host comes to us and states her manager told her to come to tell us we were dressed inappropriately for wearing sweatpants and the restaurant requires more dressy attire. Let's be clear my wife and I were NOT wearing sweatpants or sports attire. In addition we saw several patrons wearing blue denim jeans and one lady had on white cotton leggings and a belly shirt with her stomach out and buttocks exposed. No offense to any of the other guests but I would not consider jeans or white cotton leggings with an exposed stomach and buttocks exposed as dressy, formal, professional, classy or business casual. This young lady host (white female w/ blonde hair) who attempted to chastise us when we rebuffed her claims we were wearing sweatpants stated "I'm just doing what my manager told me to do." WOW! So I believe if your business has an issue with the attire of a patron it is YOUR responsibility to bring your concern to the patrons attention before providing them service and they paid their bill for said service. Coming to us after we have dined showing care and respect for the staff and the establishment screams there was a larger issue at play here. Seriously when we arrived we discovered the restaurant was in a strip mall of all places. We were not wearing anything offensive and we were covered. My wife was wearing a collared shirt and plain black pants. I was also wearing black pants with a white top and a cover-up dress jacket that I never removed. It was clear it was okay to take our money but the audacity to come to us after the fact is absurd. If you have issues with your staffs failure to enforce some half-baked dress code at the whim of someone's opinion you should take it up with the staff. Patrons are not your children. Refuse service from the beginning or leave us alone. Ridiculous. It appears now this is not the first issue like this as there are lots of comments online we are now seeing. My wife and I travel pretty frequently as do our friends and business associates. We will be sure to inform our network of how this restaurant and its affiliates does business. read more

So far we've only enjoyed Pink Steak for drinks.... I love the dark & moody ... very 'Miami Vice Lounge'-y feel. Our bartender was fabulous, as were our drinks... ergo the four stars for service. If I had to critique - 2 notes - Loved the bar vibe, but we weren't quite sure if it's considered a pick-up spot. There was a gentleman sitting next to us who was very heavy on the self importance and excessively flirting w/ staff.... specifically a very young waitress. I mean, there's always that one obnoxious guy at every bar, but what seemed inappropriate was that she indulged him. That made us feel very uncomfortable.... - The Music is super loud! We didn't mind, as we were there for drinks. But if we go there for a dining experience, we might not enjoy the music as loud. So although the atmosphere is stunning and deserves 5 stars, the music volume gets 3 stars.
