The food was good but not good enough to excuse the poor service. There are plenty of other great Mexican food choices in the city of Boston, I wouldn't go out of your way to try Pink Taco. And I hate to say that because I absolutely loved the Pink Taco in Washington DC. I sat at the bar with my boyfriend hoping for quicker service, but somehow still got forgotten about. We waited about 10 minutes for my margarita and a refill on water. The classic margarita was not tasty or refreshing at all. We also waited a while for chips and salsa, which was devoured in a few minutes. Make sure to ask for extra salsa because the cups are tiny. The restaurant didn't appear to be busy, but giving them the benefit of doubt maybe they were short staffed? After waiting and waiting we finally got our food, the chicken fajitas looked amazing but I had to wait a few minutes because the tortillas weren't brought out with the fajitas. I was super impressed by the seasoning of the chicken, it was so good and I think it will make for some great leftovers tomorrow. I'm glad we tried the Boston Pink Taco, but we probably won't be back due to the inattentive wait staff.

Had a great meal at pink taco! The staff was super friendly! Our server was Freddy and he was great, very personable and got us everything we needed! This restaurant is so fun and has some great decor that is super insta-worthy! From neon signs to murals, and everything link this spot is so much fun!! The food and drinks are also incredible! For cocktails we got a strawberry marg, sinful sangria, Cadillac, frozen mango com chile, passionista, and something pink drinks that all had beautiful presentation and tasted great!!! For apps we tried the nachos, birria quesadilla, Taquitos and queso fundido that were all delish but the birria quesadilla was prob my fav! For mains we got the steak fajitas, carne asada tacos, fried lobster tacos and carne asada enchiladas. And of course we couldn't skip dessert so we tried the tres leches churro ice cream sandwich, the chocolate cake and the fried ice cream! The chocolate cake was a bit dry but the fried ice cream was wrapped in fruity pebbles and was SO good

(Visited, 2/28/25) I visited Pink Taco (my second time here) with a group of friends to take advantage of Restaurant Week. The restaurant wasn't as packed as we expected, so we could actually hear each other talk -- a nice surprise. We all ordered from the special menu. I started with the taquitos, which were delicious and perfectly crunchy. The meat was seasoned really well. For my entrée, I got the enchiladas, which came with rice and refried beans. Everything was super tasty. I'm someone who loves to smother my food in sour cream, and I definitely did! Since dessert was included -- and I knew exactly what I wanted -- I made sure to save room by not finishing my whole entrée. The dessert did not disappoint. If you love Fruity Pebbles or fruity flavors in general, this one's for you. The mix of the pebbles with the cinnamon on the bottom is the perfect combo. It's a must-try! One thing I loved: they serve Coca Cola in glass bottles. It reminds me of home, and honestly, Coke tastes so much better from glass than plastic or a can. Our server was friendly and attentive for the most part, though I did have to remind her twice about a couple of things I asked for. Side note: I'm not sure if it was because of the occasion, but they had a security guard at the entrance checking IDs. He was on the phone when I walked up, so it took him a minute to acknowledge me -- not a huge deal, but worth mentioning.

I was visiting in Boston for a fantastic event at the Cambridge innovation center and decided to stop for a drink and an appetizer before I headed to the airport. My friend and I pulled up and sat outside, and we were served by a really eclectic but wonderful waitress who made sure I had one of the best margaritas I've had in a while. We didn't have enough time to dig into the food, but I definitely recommend this location for people watching and.good service.

Chicken Quesadilla it comes with Guacamole, Salsa , and Sour Cream .

After attending a fun event at Pink Taco, I decided to visit on my own! When I arrived, the restaurant was surprisingly empty and quiet, but I rather have that than having to wait and dealing with the noisiness. Inside, it's spacious with the tables spread out. The indoor lighting is darker, which is nice and easy on the eyes. Since I love food coloring, I ordered everything pink: the original pink tacos and the pink pancakes. -- Both were delicious! But they're quite expensive... $19 for three small tacos and $15 for small pancakes. For the experience, it's worth trying Pink Taco once, just to say that you have eaten pink food. Otherwise, I'd only consider coming back for happy hour, where they offer a pink taco for just $4.

I am honestly really disappointed in this place because I really like the scenery, vibes, and food. Yet, the service was slow and unprofessional. My friends and I arrived for a late dinner, the restaurant was not packed and was quite empty. The server was efficient at getting our orders in. After that, the server barely checked on us (once every 30 mins or so) and no where to be seen. We did not get our food after 45 mins. When we tried to call the other servers for an update and the check, we got unwanted glares. The food was amazing! The nachos were one of the best nachos I had in Boston! The burrito and enchiladas were phenomenal. Something Pink drink was very diluted in juice and I could barely taste the alcohol which I am not a fan of. Unfortunately, the food took too long to arrive and the service was bad that I lost my appetite once the food arrived. Pink Taco has great potential. They need to work on their service and efficiency. Hopefully they can improve throughout the next few months.

Nut allergy friendly: Everything we ordered was fine. Order - to - Appetizers: 15 Minutes Order - to - Entrees: 40 Minutes We walked in on a Monday night with a group of about 12 after having a reservation messed up somewhere else. Thankfully, Pink Taco had the space by putting some tables together. There are a variety of seating options here, from circle tables to bar seating to normal larger tables. The food was overall okay. Overpriced if anything. The appetizers were adequately sharable and if I came back I'd just get some nachos to share. $20-$30+ (with tax and tip) for three tacos is absurd, and they are not that filling. My margarita pitcher was around $60 after tax and tip and served about nine small drinks - I'm still not sure if it was more efficient, with the amount of ice they gave. Service was not great either. I had to go up to the bar for water refills and to get cups for people when they combined tables and forgot to set one of them. We got chip refills once for the entire table of 12. Overall, wouldn't come back but it is a decent option for larger groups.

The service and atmosphere were great! I got the OG pink taco and it was delicious. The chicken was very juicy and the taco itself was not soggy which I was concerned for. The chicken was also flavorful and filling. I had a great time and would love to come back to try the drinks which I missed out on.

Restaurant is super cute, spacious, loved the decor. I ordered the pink drink and it was quite tasty, I'd recommend. The food... not so much. I ordered the carne asada tacos and it was terrible.. the tortilla was dry and stale. The meat was overcooked, bland and dry. I was very disappointed in the quality. When it came out, it was just room temperature. Given the quality, they were probably just sitting out on the counter. Our server was lovely and quite attentive.

The Thursday/Sunday Tale: A Two-Part Review of Pink Taco My recent experiences at Pink Taco were so dramatically different, it felt like I was visiting two completely separate restaurants. Let me break it down. Thursday Night: 5/5 Stars This was the experience that made me want to come back. The service was on point, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively. We had a great time and left feeling completely satisfied. It was a flawless evening from start to finish. Sunday, August 10th: 1/5 Stars Then came Sunday. To call this an utter disaster would be an understatement. When we arrived, the place was slow, but we still waited for about five minutes with no one even acknowledging our presence. I ended up grabbing menus and seating us myself. Another 15 minutes went by after we ordered, and we still had no drinks. Our waitress, who seemed completely out of it, finally came over 30 minutes into our "service" to inform us that the pineapples were bad. She brought me a glass of something I didn't order and a margarita flight that was missing the alcohol. Shortly after, she dropped the wrong food at our table and, in a spectacular display of incompetence, knocked over the entire flight of drinks. In the midst of this chaos, a different table I had personally seated to help out the staff was also completely ignored. They got chips and salsa but no water and no order taken, and eventually, they just got up and left. The food, when it finally arrived, was a huge disappointment. The pork was drier than the Sahara, and the churros were stale and overly crunchy. To add insult to injury, our waitress started clearing away items we were still eating because they had arrived so late. Just as we were about to give up entirely, Zoe, who I was told wasn't even on the main team anymore, stepped up and completely took over. She was an absolute lifesaver. She took control, fixed our order, and salvaged the rest of our night with her professionalism and genuine care. She is the only reason this review isn't a zero-star rating. The difference between my Thursday and Sunday visits was shocking. It's clear that the quality of your experience here is entirely dependent on who is working. The service we received on Sunday was unacceptable, and without Zoe's intervention, it would have been a complete waste of time and money. Pink Taco needs to get its Sunday staff sorted out to ensure a consistent dining experience for everyone.

The restaurant is so cute inside and has great decor but the food could be better. I got the birria tacos and was disappointed. They lacked a lot of flavor and just overall were not worth $20. I've had better birria in the Boston area for cheaper. The servers were super accommodating for our party of seven. Some of our items were forgotten but it happens. I don't think I'll come again.

The food was good. I was not overwhelmed by the service. We had about 20 people shoved in the space of a hallway. Once we sat down there was no way of getting out without asking 5 people to get up. It wasn't really a good place for a big party. read more

I was excited to check out the newest addition to the Seaport/Fort Point's thriving new taco scene, but ultimately left very disappointed. The pros: cool vibe, decent margaritas, and our server was great. The cons: the food. The guac was okay, the chili poppers were meh and the tacos were flat out bad. Luckily we came in on Taco Tuesday and only paid ~$3 per taco, because normally 3 tacos ranges from $16-21. If you're gonna spend good money on Mexican food and margaritas, check out Bartaco, Lolita or Loco. read more

It's a great place to hang out and have drinks with your friends preferably on a hot day. Food was good, I tried the Egg Tacos and the Chicken Bowl, both really good. The service was very slow and not the best, but it was a busy Saturday. Tried the Strawberry Margarita on a Pineapple and although it was good, I wouldn't have it again. Also, I recommend staying away from the lemonade with mint, it tasted everything but lemonade. read more

Service: blah. drinks took 10 mins to come out and pitcher of margarita came out with glasses that were half filled w water- sign margarita just sat dying at bar. Food: double blah. Food came out quick, but why can't tacos in Boston be served in regular sized tortillas. Speaking of torts, tacos are supposed to be served on warm tortilla, not cold stiff ones. Al pastor tacos, were just BAD and cold. Carne asada also cold and no flavor. Overall, I give this place 6 months before it closes. Not coming back. Just another over priced low quality taco-imitation joint in Boston. read more

Remember my Tavitas review? RIGHT AFTER I ate there, I knew I had to seek out an amazing joint to make up for this. I heard that Pink Taco recently opened and should be good. I love it and have been there since writing this review! The decor is very beautiful and I love the art of the woman displayed at the back of the bar. Also, there is a wall filled with Patrons! My waitress is super cute and really helped make up for my prior experience. (She has green hair, glitter, smiley stickers on her face and calls you "my love") She recommended the Pink Taco for obvious reasons and I added a margarita because I LOVE those. The taco was very simply designed, but it works in their favor. There's 3 small tacos seasoned with spicy inside already, but you can request sauce on the side. Then they top it off with pickled onions and that's it! Now, if you have a big appetite, you might want to forego this and go for the Big Burrito, you're welcome! read more

Friday night, this place was poppin (as a person in my 30s that means a lot of people younger than me kind of loud and having fun). No complaints about the house margarita, tried my boyfriend's spicy jalapeño margarita and almost died (the manager saw our faces and told the bartender to tone the spice down next time haha). Guac and chips were a great start and the carnitas tostada salad was SO GOOD and giant. Definitely not a wimpy taco salad, it was packed out with plenty of pork, a whole avocado , cheese, pico, tortilla pieces and all that good stuff. This place is cool and has great food- I definitely recommend checking it out. read more

My friends and I walked by here a couple months ago but it wasn't opened. When it opened we came over asap! Just know that it would be best to reserve ahead before coming :) We didn't make a reservation but they were able to haggle a few tables for our party of 7. We really appreciate it! This place has a nice tequila bar if you're into that ;) The food was great! Definitely can't go wrong with a steak fajita! The tacos come with 3 per order, my 3 friends ordered 3 different ones and split haha so they ended up with 3 combo taco plates ;) The taco bowl is great for those who wants to eat a little less messy and I definitely recommend that! The food portions were great although it is a bit pricey, you definitely get what you paid for. Quality and good portioned foods :) Would definitely come back again! read more

Came here on Saturday and had a good time. The food was great and the drinks were good. I got the pink tacos which came with a side of beans and rice. The prices were fine for the location. The house margarita was very tasty, although not very strong and quiet small for the price. The reason why I'm docking a star is that its extremely loud. I understand that its in a warehouse but there is no reason why I should have to scream to the person next to me. This is not a date place and don't come here with a group if you want to talk to anyone. My had no voice the next day. read more

We really enjoyed our Pink Taco visit. The decor is trendy and way more down to earth crowd than its Row34 neighbors. We immediately were served by Kate who provided us with all the answers we needed and recommended the Cadillac Margarita. That drink was amazing and well worth the price since I nursed it the whole time there. We had a party of 7 and the apps and drinks all came out timely. Was really appreciative of the manager Kern who gave me a vip tour of the back party space which is definitely worth booking for a special event. The tacos al pastor was incredible. Will be back soon. read more

Came in for a bite to eat after my flight. I would say this place has definitely got it together for the most part. The host are friendly and so nice. My server was on point she guided me through the menu and whoever was behind the bar slayed my drinks there were amazing so tasty. It was our first time here and everything about this place was amazing!! Haven't been out since quarantined so we decided to do a girls night for our belated birthdays. Anyhow, parking may be a little hard to find if you want to park on the street. Otherwise there's plenty of parking in the garage of parking lot. I think it's about $15. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The food and drinks were amazing! it came fairly quick. The staff was knowledgeable when I asked what was good on the menu and what would she recommend. She recommended the frozen margarita which is served in a pineapple, it was delicious! We ordered the guacamole, queso bean dip, chicken quesadillas chicken, carne asada bowl, and the street corn. What we was good for a party of win. They were all really good and flavorful! I will definitely be coming back here with my boyfriend! Staff and manager were very attentive. They made sure to keep checking on us. I believe the waitress name is Claire. She is really friendly and gave us great recommendations on what to order. read more

Came here for brunch with friends, was excited about the menu and positive reviews. Might be a good place for dinner, but the brunch was awful. This was the chorizo eggs benedict. The first time the plate came out, it was basically avocado toast with an egg on top which I think was the other version but it's not what I ordered. Sent it back and the picture is the second plate. Eggs were overcooked (not poached) NO hollandaise, and a very small amount of chorizo under the eggs with burnt toast. It was inedible and I was completely disappointed. Only gave the restaurant two stars because they didn't make me pay for the meal and the drinks were good. read more

Very good drinks! The tacos were very tasty but they have too much coleslaw, only 2 shrimp in each taco. It was more like a coleslaw taco instead of shrimp taco. It should be a lot of shrimp and small amount of coleslaw to top it off for presentation or decoration. read more

This review is dedicated to the owners and management at Pink Taco. Your restaurant is packed wall to wall. Not a single persoj in your restaurant has a mask on, yet your staff at the front requires patrons to wear a mask to be seated at their table, only to take it off to eat? Does that make ANY logical sense??? What does wearing a mask from the lobby to your chair do to protect anyone when everyone in restaurant is eating? At LEAST, at minimum, have a box of masks to give your CUSTOMERS who you are refusing service to for this reason. You lost out on a $300+ for our party yesterday and future business if we had a good meal. When the pandemic first hit we highly supported all restaurants unable to open, but NOW?? We stand for our rights and freedoms not to continue on with nonsense. It's time for you, the restaurant owners to stand up for the city of Boston restaurants. Get it together!!! read more

Pretty good food! We went here because the line for Bartaco was way too long, and we were able to get seated immediately. The pink decor is fun. We got the bacon guacamole and lobster enchiladas. The guacamole could've had a bit more bacon but was pretty good, I'm from TX so we have high standards for guac. The enchiladas were also pretty good and had a reasonable amount of lobster for the price, but they're definitely a lot different than normal Tex-Mex enchiladas--so go into it with an open mind! read more

Food was f*cking disgusting. We paid our bill as a party of 7 and tipped in full, and STILL the waitress came over to rip us apart for not tipping over 20%. The food was inedible. We all got chicken enchiladas and none of us could finish it because it was so disgusting. Our waitress brought the manager over AFTER coming over to scream at us. And then the manager brought over security. Such a disturbing experience. I'm from Boston and should have listened to everyone who told me not to go here. Manager is a WACK JOB. Don't eat here unless you want food poisoning. Go to Bar Taco down the street. read more

Went last night for my birthday. He had a reservation and it seemed that they over booked themselves. Had to wait for 30 minutes before being seated. On a positive note all of the drinks were absolutely delicious. Our waiter walked away while we were trying to order food. Not really impressed but over all drinks were fabulous and the interior was beautiful. The carnitas were really really dry. But the their pink taco was amazing. read more

Recently had my bridesmaid proposal here. Rented the private room around noon. My server Aeslenn was AMAZING. She made my day and my ladies day absolutely perfect. I came early to set up and she was so helpful and everything flowed perfectly. Such a hidden gem for private events or special moments on a slower Sunday morning. She had the best recommendations for picture worthy drinks and even brought out a sparkler for desert. I'm so grateful I can't wait to come back and host more events. Thank you Pink Taco!! Cool ambiance but disappointed. We waited over 45 minutes after our reservation time. After enough time had passed to down 5 drinks, we were finally seated. Upon which, we requested a very reasonable request. A free round of drinks. Eyes were rolled. "That's not something I have authority over," explained the incompetent hostess. "Well please send over someone who does." For additional context for the reader, our group had a competitive round of bowling immediately following our taco reservation. After asking the hostess to send over the manager, about 25 minutes passed. Finally, our waitress (who actually was great) came with our drinks. "Hey, do you mind sending the manager over?" exclaimed an undisclosed friend of mine. 5 minutes later, a middle-aged street rat, came over to tell us there was nothing he could do. Disappointment. Our kind waitress was prompt while, the kitchen was not. Shoutout Asia. While our evening was not ruined, the unprofessional demeanor of the restaurant staff was certainly an obstacle that we had to to overcome. read more

Holy crap!!! Best Mexican food I've ever had, my friends and I came for drinks/food and we fell in love with the place. The nachos were one of the best foods I've had in a long time. This place was rocking! It was our first time here due to our Uber driver suggesting it when we were scheduled to be dropped off across the street! So shout out to our Uber driver for the awesome recommendation! Walking in here I was a little skeptical due to the fact that there was not many guests, but the hostess greeted us with warm smiles right away and sat us down! Our server Lesley was RIGHT ON, she wasted no time in bringing us water and introducing us to the guacamole and chips (which by the way were a hit, although I suggest a little more lime) we was also a little skeptical about the pink tacos due to we felt as though they were going to be a pink colored taco. Our server Lesley assures is that they were not actually pink but deemed it's name for the world famous pickled pink onions (they were RESPECTABLE and spicy will be coming back and adding these onions as a topper for ALL meals) although I feel as though the chicken can use some seasoning/flavor but all in all we ENJOYED our first experience here! Our server knew what she was doing not to mention her continuos nice smile! She knew how to guide our lunch desires. Keep up the awesome staff! I recently visited this Mexican restaurant and had their tacos, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The tacos were absolutely delicious, with perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and soft, warm tortillas. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food.The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great lively and colorful, with authentic decor and friendly staff. They even had some traditional Mexican music playing in the background, which added to the overall experience.Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine. I had the pleasure of being served by Camilo during my recent visit to this restaurant, and I have to say he provided excellent service. Went in tonight and as soon as I walked in, the hosts at the front were so rude. They said I needed a reservation in order to be seated. Number 1.... I called yesterday and I was told I didn't need one. Then the guy host told me he can sit me all the way in the back. Mind you there was open tables in the middle of the restaurant open. I also requested Carlos as a server because I had him on Saturday and was told he was working tonight. The other host told me that they can't do that. I'm sorry, but if a guest requests a server, I as a guest should come first. The lack of experience for your hosts you guys have is ridiculous. As soon as they told me they could sit me in the back and someone else will take it who was in urgent of tables... I immediately walked out of the restaurant. If that was the case, I would have not came at all. I had a party of 15 people who were just about to walk in. I will take my business else where. Don't tell me on the phone I don't need to make a reservation and then tell me else different. Ask to speak to a manager and they told me she wasn't available read more

I had it all today. from amazing queso dip, to street tacos and margaritas. Don't forget we had the fried ice cream and choco churros! recommended by our server sienna, if you're seeing this hello sienna! I was out to eat after my wedding at the church and our waiter was the absolute best waiter we've had in the time being of boston. My wife doesn't really talk about her personal life to anyone unless she knows them well well and it was almost like our server was our close friend. i love her personality, her energy, her vibe. She is what made Pinktaco great. I was testing her on drinks and food off the menu and she knew it super well since we aren't from Boston. If i ever came back to Boston, I would come back to pink taco. Wonderful ambiance. I would love to say so much more but i already have said enough! Manager Tracy stopped by and asked if everything was great. Which it was more than great. Wanted to speak to the owner or head manager of that place and wanted to thank them and tell them what a great aspect and place they have established. You will see me soon :) read more

When Pink Taco opened in the Seaport the most common refrain was, 'another Mexican restaurant?!?' But Pink Taco is not just another Mexican restaurant - it truly separates itself from the rest and is an excellent addition to the neighborhood. The staff is amazing - everyone is super friendly, attentive and eager to help. High marks to Malia, Mikayla & Cassandra (and too many more to name) behind the bar. Definitely try a Something Pink or a Cadillac. Both are outstanding. I also was pleasantly surprised with the Mezcal Mule, since Moscow Mule's are my usual go-to drink. For food, the Street Corn is an absolute must. The Big Barbacoa Burrito is an out-and-out monster! It's enormous and delicious. You also can't go wrong with the signature Pink taco, especially if you like your tacos to have a kick. This place is a great afterwork hangout spot. It's also ideal for taking in sporting events as there are ample tv's and great sightlines wherever you're seated. Highly recommend checking out this new, fun and unique restaurant. read more

I am not really the type of person to write reviews but I had gone in a few days ago with a few of my friends and my son and the service from a server there was super ridiculous. I believe her name was sandy. She was ringing in drinks wrong multiple times, she was super jittery and just seemed like she was in a hurry. And on top of that she didn't check any of our ID's! for all i know she could've served my 19 year old son. I know its still in the process since it just opened so we went back today with my husband and our 2 year old daughter. Michael and Carolyn were super helpful. The experience was a lot better. He was always checking up on us, had great recommendations. Actually asked me how my drink and bell tacos were and not just "is everything okay". Kurn was a manager that stopped by and asked if the food was great, of course everything is great!!! will be back because of him and our server. the 5 star rating is for our server and Kurn who made our day. The 1 star is for the lady that we had before who was super rude to us. read more

Went out for a birthday dinner! We were taken to a table between the kitchen and bathroom. Obviously had to ask for another table away from that traffic. (many tables available) Politely we were told we could move down a table and sat by the beautiful tequila wall! Food was not good. Bland and tasteless. I was excited mainly for the drinks- however they were almost impossible to drink. SO VERY SOUR. After the flight I opted for a drink, I didn't think could be as bad- A Chelada. Chilled glass. salt rim. lime juice, cold beer. BUT it was like drinking sea water. the "lime juice" was a sour mix it was so salty and disappointing. Didn't dare order something else :) Service... Could have been so much better. It was a waiting game, they automatically added the 20% gratuity. We have no problem leaving a great tip for great service. However the server was guaranteed that tip and so his effort wasn't required. Big uh moment. read more

I came to Pink Taco last night and I had an absolute blast! I noticed a couple of reviews from last night about the wait (for a table or food) but nobody mentioned that it was also insanely busy!! Boston was lucky to have a 75 degree day in the middle of winter so us Bostonians all decided to come out of our caves and flock to the seaport! While my group waited for our table we went to the packed bar. We had no issues getting our margaritas right away from the sweet bartender. We had an awesome large booth for our table when it was ready. Our server was funny and kind and truly cared about our experience. Our food came out hot and was tasty! Yes our food took a little longer than usual, but again the place was jammed. I have worked in that industry in the past and I know a little patience goes a long way. Overall, Pink Taco is just a really fun hip scene that is a really popular spot in the Seaport for that reason! read more

Had the opportunity to grab lunch while walking around the Seaport and ended up loving this place. We were greeted with a smile from the bartender the moment we walked in--always a good sign. Drinks were solid and well-priced for the area. I had the steak tacos (which were excellent), and the person I was with tried three different kinds and raved about each one. The food came out fast, fresh, and flavorful. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with upbeat music that added to the vibe without being overly loud. The manager checked on us twice to make sure everything was great--always appreciated--and I noticed him chatting with a guy wearing a "I live for tacos" shirt. I asked him what he thought, and he said, "Loved the food and the server was great. We'll be back." Good food, great service, fun atmosphere, and the right price point. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to. read more

Stopped in yesterday with a group of people and as soon as we walked in, the people at the front stand were extremely rude. First things first, hire some new hosts. The second thing is, I get to my table and our server, I don't even know her name. All I know is she has bright red hair looked like she was on something. The smell was just awful. She slammed our drinks onto the table once we received them. Basically she just looked like she didn't want to be there. Slamming trays, just not it. I've worked in the restaurant industry before and this is not it. If you don't like where you're working... find somewhere else. I can not even believe this place was recommended to me. There were no managers to even speak to because an attitude was given to me. Half of your employees simply look like they don't want to be there. Overall my drinks tasted great and the food was amazing. read more

Went on opening day (one hour after it opened) and service took forever. Asked for tacos, which as it is in the name you'd expect them to be prepared to serve them at lunch. We were informed that they had somehow already run out of flour tortillas. Got our tacos and they were just ok, would recommend bartaco instead. Went back for drinks a few days later and after three attempts to serve us our margaritas (first time wrong one, second time was not as specified in the menu to which they respond "oh, you wanted it that way?") they were still not that good. Also ordered chips and guac and were served chips and salsa. When we requested guac as we had ordered we were brought a tiny side of guac, not the actual bowl of guac. Overall terrible service and I don't see how this place will stay in business with bartaco right nearby. read more

I finally made it to Pink Taco after seeing so many posts about it on my instagram. I expected it to be more like the New York one (since that's where I live,) but wow, I was pleasantly surprised. The music was freaking amazing! And our server Fatimma was great! They had so many great drinks, I didn't know which to choose lol, but she was so amazing she helped recommend some of the best drinks! Even the manager, Pamela, came to our table and brought us chips and salsa (MY FAVORITE!) She made sure we were enjoying our time there and our drinks. It made me feel like they actually cared how we (the customers) feel. Next time I'm in Boston, I am definitely coming back with more friends. Their hospitality is top notch and more restaurants should aspire to be this amazing, friendly and caring . read more

Went for a Sunday afternoon for drinks on the patio & then for dinner during the week. The vibes are always outstanding: music, service, and atmosphere is incredible. The new manager is outstanding and went out of his way to make sure everyone was having an awesome time. I will say one small misstep that's easy to correct is the food is customizable (pick your protein, pick red or green salsa) for several of the entrees. I would maybe say the combo of sauces and proteins doesn't always mesh the best, but the food is never bad, just not GREAT when that happens. So maybe if the servers knew what to recommend in terms of what proteins went best with what sauces when ordering it would take it from an 8 to a 10. Will definitely be back, especially with their killer patio in the summer read more

Update! from 1 star to a 5 star review. Went in yesterday for lunch and it was extremely packed in the whole entire restaurant with only two servers!!! I was impressed on the fact these girls were able to take on the whole entire restaurant and still be able to provide great service and go above and beyond for us. Mind you it was just the two of them. I really do want to give a shoutout to I believe their names were Brandi and Sienna. After my first horrible experience, going back yesterday made me want to come back more. I told the servers what had happen the first time i came and they told me and my friends they are going to make our experience 10x better and take care of us. I'm happy they did. Also, we were greeted right away by the nicest host and got seated quickly. read more

Unfortunately, a failure ON FOOD. Yes staff is great & friendly (props to the recruiter) but food is NO BUENO! We purposely ordered different dishes to share and the best one was 2 stars. 1.) Skip on the cheese and chorizo appetizer unless they change the chorizo brand in the near future. 2.) The Ape tacos were bad and had no authentic Mexican notes. Maybe an ancho note or even chipotle at least would have helped. I would credit the chip because it was the best part however it was a GARNISH. 3.) Carnitas = dull no flavor or marinade...slather it with green salsa. 4.) Pastor was the best over all. Could use more of the marinade or sauce. 5.) Beans and rice are the typical bad fillers. Wish they were better. As for drinks they are good... as any bar should have. read more

Went in tonight, it was extremely packed but me and my girls went out and we had Sienna as a server. Hands down, the best experience and service i've ever had in Boston. Me and my girls were literally having a conversation about how crazy, chaotic it was and how it was beyond super busy and our waitress was still always on top of us and constantly asking us if we wanted more drinks or anything else. You will never receive that at any other restaurants in the boston area. I will definitely be back because of her. She had great recommendations. The fact that it was such a hectic place and she had so many tables on her end, but still managed to constantly check up on us. I wouldn't say service, i would say she showed what hospitality really is. She's a real one!!! read more

Big group of me and my colleagues went in today and the kitchen did have some mess ups, definitely wasn't our servers fault. Sienna was an amazing server, very attentive. Even though the kitchen messed up on our end, she apologized on her end and had spoke to a manager about doing something for us. We are not from here, were in from a work conference and she started a great convo with us telling us all about Boston. She had so many tables that she kept up with us. Very hard worker, worked in a restaurant before so I would know. Saw that she was also bussing other servers tables quickly. Love the teamwork at pink taco and the food. Cadillac marg on point guys. Keep it up. Will be back in the summer. Hopefully sienna will still be there as our server. read more

enchiladas and tacos were delicious, the drinks were more amazing! Just moved to boston for work and stopped in earlier today for lunch with my family and my server had recommended the pink margarita and cadillac. I have never met someone who was super attentive to us and sold us on the food and drinks. she knew what she was talking about and was not just winging it. no, she knew the foods very well and the drinks. all the liquor that was in it and major ingredients in the foods due to our allergies. she's super adorable can't get over her. i'm definitely going to become a regular. Any of y'all head to pink taco, ask for sienna. though the food was ok, her service was on point. where do you find that now and days? read more

Nothing warms you up in 30 degree weather like margaritas and Mexican food! I loved my experience here despite what I read about their negative reviews. My girls and I came here for lunch and were in love with the atmosphere. We wanted to try out everything but sadly it was only 3 of us! Our server, Brandy (think that's her name haha) was absolutely amazing and also kept it real from beginning to end! She helped guide us through the menu and went over what was most popular from food to drinks. Since we've never been here before we took her advice and went with their signature margaritas which were the Cadillac and Something Pink (BOTH ARE DELICIOUS BTW). I will definitely come back for more! read more
