Even though we paid by the hour they didn't slow down, even after a long day of moving. We tried to label all of our boxes but once we were at the new place they asked where we wanted the unlabeled boxes, which I appreciated, they could have easily just put them wherever. I messaged them via Yelp to get a quote and Ian replied back within 5 minutes with a recommendation of 3 movers and a breakdown of the hourly rate and gas fee. Because of the large number of excellent Yelp reviews they received, I felt more at peace going with Flash Moving instead of other local companies that were about $10 cheaper per hour. A week prior to our move in date, I confirmed our move in date and luckily for us, they still had availability and the time we wanted. On the day of the move, I got a call about 20 minutes prior to our scheduled time from Niko. He was the main point person during this whole move. Very courteous and professional. He came along with two other guys. For a 3 bedroom house, it took almost 5 hours for the move, with only them taking a 10 minute break. This time included disassembling and assembling back our 3 beds, other furniture in our living spaces, and about 15 boxes. They handled our items with care and wrapped them well. My entire moving process was made easy from get to when I DM the business on Yelp and the manager Anthony replied right away with pricing details and followed up with a phone call to confirm the move date. A day prior to the scheduled day, they sent me a confirmation on the time. Prior to the arrival on the move date, Misha notified me ahead on their arrival time. It's very considerate and professional with their communication. On the day of move, Misha walked me through on the details and made sure to answer all my questions. Misha and Agai are truly moving experts as they were quick and had all the tools to facilitate the process. After they unloaded the stuff, Misha asked me to check their truck to ensure everything is unloaded and asked me to take a look at my belongings to ensure there was no damage. 3 hrs late no Covid precautions and super slow. We decided to use flash movers after a friend recommended them as super quick on time and friendly. We scheduled a morning start between 8&9 am. When no one showed up by 9:15 I called and was told the truck was having trouble and that they would be there within the hour. After that hour elapsed I called again and was told they were still having trouble it would be another hour. After that hour passed I called again just as the guy I'd been talking to walked up to My door. He said that they had just fired the team that was supposed to be our movers and he'd come himself to make sure they got there. After complaining about them being 3 1/2 hours late he said they'd give us a discount of $10 an hour. Less than 8%. I said that was ridiculous and the man replied well you just have to understand that's how it is. They start loading our stuff taking their time and keeping their heads down. After about 90 minutes I noticed two of the movers weren't wearing masks anymore (were in the middle of a pandemic) I told the foreman my wife works in oncology. They have to wear masks. We can't risk getting sick and their site guaranteed Covid safety precautions. He apologied and said he would tell the others. They had Thier masks off within 20 minutes. I told the foreman again how important it was that they wear masks. He laughed and said okay okay I'll let them Know. By this time It has been five hours and they still have not finished loading our completely packed and boxed up 2 br house (1100 sq ft) Finally they get to our new house after taking a lunch break and proceed to unload. They finally starting going at a decent pace until it was time to put our stuff together. Then they were back to super slow. At first I thought it was because they were making sure everything was right until I went to move something onto our bed and noticed that the wire for the adjustable base was hanging off the edge. I brought it up and they acted like they hadn't noticed. After trying for 15 minutes to try to get it to work we were at 9 pm and I told them to just put the last boxes in the house and leave. Finally after paying they told me I had to sign a paper saying everything worked. I said I didn't know that the bed still worked. he sighed and said "it will work" So after 11 hours I have furniture that is not put together and boxes just randomly scattered everywhere. Needed a moving service for an office move this month. Yelped and Googled several local companies but went with Tony from Flash Movers for his professional and pleasant demeaner on the phone. In no way was he ever pushy in upselling their services. He was also very accommodating when I had to reschedule for the following weekend. When the day arrived, I was met with accurate expectations, such as an ETA call and text. The 4 men, led by Dennis (or Denis), arrived and requested a walk through so they knew how to pack their box truck. Although the move was only a mile from point to point, the final destination was two stories with no elevator. On a scorching Sunday morning in the SFV, the group of 4 went straight to work, didn't fuss around. In total, they carried roughly 26 old school filing cabinets up the stairs and no walls were scratched in the process. Their rates are very competitive but please make sure to tip generously as these men do put 100% effort and attention. If you want your items lost, call Flash Moving I am giving a two-star only because the company paid $200 for the items they lost. Otherwise even a one-star would be too much for a company who's employees steal! We moved from LA County to Riverside in May 2022 and the their crew lost 4 items! If you want to know: a leaf rake + my wife's make up desk seat + a glass-top table + an outdoor foldable desk. I hired Flash Moving with 3 crew (1 driver + 2 workers). I was super nice to the crew, bought them lunch and drinks costing ~$45, and tipped them $20 at the end ($60 total). It's unbelievable how so many items got lost during such a not so long move! I've never had this problem with other moving companies even when we moved from Florida to California. I called Tony the next day to report the missing item (I noticed only the rake back then) and he totally dismissed the issue and instead of helping me, he asked me to call the driver myself! He didn't even care enough to ask his own crew. I texted the driver and he said that he "completely" unloaded the truck and he hasn't seen any rake. After some days, we realized that my wife's makeup desk seat is also missing! This is not a tiny item, it's big: Almost 2x2x3 ft cube. I called Tony about the seat and he started blaming me for not reporting this earlier and dismissing the problem. I told them that I am very dissatisfied with their service and that's when Alex (owner) came in and he admitted that they have found my rake in their truck! OK, at least something was found. When I told him about the seat and he started questioning my claims and never tried believed me. Long story short, Alex first agreed to pay for the rake and the seat but he totally forgot to do that and I had to keep texting him about it which was super annoying! Then we found about the glass-top seat which was missing and again, he questioned my claim and told me that if they pay all such claims, they will go into bankruptcy! What a fallacy! If you don't want to go into bankruptcy, manage and monitor your employees to prevent stealing and losing your client's furniture. The final straw was finding about the missing foldable outdoor table which we never discussed with Alex or Tony cause we just found out about it 2-3 days ago! I believe someone in their crew steals but these guys don't want to admit it. I think I aged 5 years dealing with Flash Moving service. Moving is already stressful and overwhelming enough so I don't want this to happen to anybody else. They were not that good with wrapping either, had a chair with grease marks on it and a broken light stand which I didn't even report but I feel this is my responsibility to share. The driver was very annoying too. He complained about the stairs while he was as fit as an Olympic athlete. He asked my permission to play music and I told him it's OK if you keep the volume down. Then he brought a huge speaker and slowly turned up the volume. I went out to check the truck after a 1-2 hours and heard a very loud music coming from his annoying loudspeaker. Moving is such a pain, but with Flash Moving, it really makes everything a breeze. I looked at several companies and combed through reviews before choosing Flash Moving and I am so glad I did. They arrived on time and took their time wrapping all of our furniture. We wanted the movers to focus on the bigger furniture we couldn't possibly move ourselves and they really did a great job with everything. They had to take apart our bed frame and reassemble it back at the new house. They even pointed out that our bed wasn't centered on the rug and brought all 3 guys downstairs to make it perfect. Maybe I didn't because I just came across a blank draft here on Yelp and I don't know if I failed to review this company then it if I did and this was a mistake. Either way I was extremely pleased with the job they did and I wanted to make sure to let everyone know. This company was great! They showed up on time which from what I've read in other moving company reviews is rare. Although I didn't have much they were very careful with everything had at the time and met with my few requests. When we got to my new location the elevator was down and to my surprise they filled their dollies and headed up the stairs. All 4 flights! And they did it quickly! I rewarded them well of course! The only issue I had was they seemed to move a bit slow with packing my things but then I thought about how they'd be at it all day and they had a certain place they had to adhere to add not to wear themselves out. This was the first time we used a moving company, and were so impressed!!!! Leo and Dima came promptly and well-prepared in the afternoon on our moving day. After assessing how much furniture we had to move, they took care OF EVERYTHING--and so quickly! The Flash part is not a joke--they skillfully wrapped our furniture in blankets and used plastic to protect them. They even took the time to make sure the shelves and drawers were secured. We were amazed at how QUICKLY everything was moved. And not only that, they both had the most pleasant attitude: a cheerful smile can go a long way! I was nervous going into it, but Leo assured me that I could relax now and they would take care of it. And they did!!! To pack up several items of furniture and move them from the sixth floor in downtown Glendale in under 2.5 hours is pretty impressive! Not just furniture, but several small items and belongings as well, they carefully took down and were so patient and nice when clarifying something. Extremely cordial and polite! The unload was also extremely fast-just a little over 1 hour-and they even assembled our bed frame and used their own furniture markers to fill in some gaps on our old bookshelves!! Not only that, Dima easily installed the shower rod and took the time to make sure it was straight (because I'm pretty short). Totally generous. The price is also very reasonable--if you pay in cash, you get a discount (a little under 100/hr for two movers).
