I've been to other Pinkberry locations in Manhattan and elsewhere in the US. Had a mediocre visit last week. The Barbie limited edition machine was down, the employee wasn't able to understand my question about the cost of a waffle cone or give me an answer, they (permanently) don't accept contactless payment and use a prehistoric cash register, but did not state my total and just asked for my credit card, then returned it with no receipt. They could have charged me $20 for one yogurt for all I know. I have no idea what I paid. Toppings were skimpy. I'd go elsewhere. read more

The weather may have gotten colder, but it hasn't stopped me from wanting frozen yogurt! I stopped by this Pinkberry location for the first time recently and had a good experience. The shop is larger than some of the others in the city with ample seating and lots of space, and employees were friendly. I got the seasonal cranberry orange flavor with strawberries, the strawberry popping boba, mochi, and coconut, my first time trying that flavor of yogurt, and it's now one of my favorites. Super close to my old apt. Years ago, I had the pleasure of trying Pinkberry for the first time at this location. I love that I could just walk to it. I walked in and before I could finish saying 'Yo,Yo,Yo, you got coconut and pine....', The girl had my cup ready and was ringing me up.. I told her she must have ESP, and she said that could read me and what I want by just looking at my shoes. Some people have gifts is all I can say. Anyway she gave me the new Coconut milk swirl flavor that's made with of course Coconut milk. It's dairy-free and vegan and she topped it with one Pineapple bits. I loved the Nutella, coconut flakes, brownie, chopped up Oreos, and fresh fruit. I think it is worth starting by saying that I honestly dont believe you can go wrong with frozen yogurt. But, with the recent explosion of the froyo industry, it has significantly watered-down the market. There may be tons of knock-offs, but only one Pinkberry--still my favorite of all. I recall seeing an episode of some girls show on MTV several years ago and being blown away that there was a yogurt place that had cereal available as a topping. When I realized it was right down the street from me in NYC, I had to try it. Sure, it can get pricey, but the yogurt itself is tart and tasty, as yogurt should be... And the toppings are quite fresh compared to some of the smaller chains and shops that used canned fruit in thick syrupy liquids. One of my favorite aspects of Pinkberry is the flavors. They dont offer the huge range of flavors some of the pay-by-weight shops have, but the flavors they do, they do well. My personal favorites are green tea, mango, and blood orange. Fresh mochi or fresh fruit really make for amazing toppings on any of the base flavors. I havent been back out to NYC in awhile, but when I was staying there they had a happy hour which I believe was 50% off--a fantastic value considering how much these yogurt places are costing the customer these days. I think it helps them compete with places such as Red Mango which also put out a quality product and have several locations as well. Hurrah for Midtown East. We finally get our own pinkberry! I saw this while walking down the street a few weeks ago and got ridiculously excited at the fact a Pinkberry would be within a 10 block walk from me (That's just about the right distance to walk off whatever I gain). I think what I like most about pinkberry is how much fruit I get on top of the FroYo. Most other places just kinda sprinkle on a few toppings, but at Pinkberry they really let you have it. Plus, the FroYo tastes good, though I mainly stick to green tea. I guess my daily food expenditure is going to go up when combined with my 3PM Jamba and 8AM breakfast cart donut.
