Warren called me as soon as it was in and had an install date available 2 days later! Dan and his team were on time, super thorough, and amazingly fast! Plus they were insanely kind to my kids. They miscalculated the distance from the fence for a patio cover by 5 feet. Our backyard is very…read morenarrow and we were going to get a patio cover. They told us that it had to be 5 feet from the fence,which still made the patio cover very narrow and unacceptable. However, they then informed us that there was going to be an overhang and that would make the cover come out a little bit more by two feet. So we went ahead with it. The county came back and said that it needs to be 10 feet away from the fence which would therefore now make it just a little tiny thin strip of patio cover and that was not acceptable. CW designs kept $175 from us saying that they already came out and measured so that was the money they were going to keep. In addition, the county also kept roughly $175 as well. Had CW design known their business with patio cover rules and correctly told us the information we would've never gone forward with patio cover. I think that if you have a professional business that comes out and measures, gives you information on where the patio cover will extend to, they should be correct. They are in the business of patio covers, they should correctly give information so that a sound decision can be made. They should know what the county requires and tell the patron correct information and certainly not charge a fee for their mistakes. I have seen some patio covers that they have built and they do do a very nice job, but in my opinion, the fact that they kept our money for their mistake is appalling to me.

He gave several very confident answers that turned out to be wrong. For example, he told us we could get permits in just a couple of days, even though permits where we live typically take months. He also opined confidently on how many posts the structure would require, despite not having the engineering needed to know that. There were several other moments where he spoke with total certainty about things he clearly had not verified. On top of that, the appointment had a lot of classic high-pressure sales tactics: prices supposedly going up soon, pressure to commit quickly, and a long sales pitch before finally getting to the actual quote. When the quote finally came in, it was about three times higher than other contractors we spoke with, while also appearing to offer poorer-quality materials. Overall, I left feeling like my time had been wasted by someone using pressure tactics and giving unreliable information. I would not recommend Elite Exteriors based on this experience.

Many nails didn't quite make it to their "best" location... meaning, they were "shot" incorrectly & are sticking out at odd angles. Overall, they got me further than I was before they did the work I felt the price was fair and after seeing their work, decided to have them paint the shed (I was planning on doing it, but, heat & age, I knew it would take me much longer to get done.) They are painting as I write the review. (06/27/25 update Have reinstalled hasp latch correctly - but, it appears they tried to bend to work with their lack of knowledge as to how hasp locks work... installed correctly, screws are not accessible.... Needed to buy new hasp lock. Their installation had all screws easily accessible, meaning putting a lock on door was a waste of time. I WAS so impressed & pleased with their work, I'm have him bid on completing a pool to deck conversion. Apparently, he didn't want to work with my choice, so, nothing more was said. I recommend KGA for your projects, with your supervision to make sure you are getting what you want.. Painting is done. Have several areas to touch up.
