No, we didn't need to panic about the scout bees looking around for a place to rest or set up shop that could have brought hundreds or thousands of bees to our carport . Pinpoint could handle whatever decision the bees made and told us it is extremely rare for bees in this situation to be aggressive, regardless of the size of the swarm. This was the second year we had scout bees loving our carport area, so we had Pinpoint close up the tops of the carport pillars for us. A swarm of bees did not end up showing up, thankfully, and Pinpoint came out the day after we called, did a good job closing up the pillars and charged an affordable fee. Pinpoint Pest Controls is one of the most upstanding and professional I have had the pleasure of working with. I can only wish that more companies were run like Pinpoint Pest Control. It is unfortunate that it took me so long to get in touch with them as I was suffering from insanely itchy bites for over 2 months. After contacting them, my problem went away almost immediately. I will trust Pinpoint for all my future services. I talked to Bill extensively on the phone. He is one of the most friendly and helpful people I have ever talked to on the phone. And even more surprisingly to me was that he was willing to talk to me just out of his passion for his profession and not because he wanted to make money out of my call. I basically felt as if I was talking to an old family friend who was giving me advice on a problem I had. He carefully listened to my problem, asked some pointed questions, and gave me his likely diagnosis (bird mites). He then went on to describe in great detail why he thought this was my issue and the measure I should take to solve my problem. He even took the time to look up my house on google maps to suggest places that I should be looking for bird nests. Instead of recommending a treatment initially, he actually suggested that I first try to handle the problem on my own. But given my lack of height or a ladder and the fact that I was suffering from bites for over 8 weeks, I wanted to have this problem dealt with sooner rather than later. Bill was able to give me an appointment with his son Brian the very next day. Brian was as much of a pleasure to work with as Bill. Although Brian had an understanding of our problem before arriving, he still took the time to thoroughly listen to my story and consider other potential sources of my bug bites. I felt that he really took the time to understand what the problem was and make sure that the service they were providing would address that problem. I had actually had another company come and spray my house just the week before. They listened to my story and went with me on thinking that I had spiders biting me (which Bill informed me was extremely unlikely). There was no thorough inspection of my house for any other potential sources for my bites. Brian took the time to throughly inspect all the rooms in my house as well as the perimeter. He was very patient about answering all of my questions --which I had a lot of. I felt that he also did a very thorough job spraying as I haven't had any bites since they have been here. I'm also impress that they give a 30 day guarantee. No other company I called mentioned this to me and the previous company I had spray definitely did not have this policy. If we needed to get sprayed again it was our problem and going to come out of our pockets. In summary, Pinpoint Pest Control is a company with the kind of people you would trust to help you with any kind of problem because you would be sure that if they didn't have the solution themselves they would find one for you. I have been using Pinpoint for a couple of years now, and they have a good price for the service and everyone I deal with is very nice and knowledgeable, from the owner to the technicians. I had a rat problem in my attic, and Pinpoint recommended a plan of action that was reasonable and guaranteed for a full year. The plan included perimeter defense like plugging holes between fascia and roofline, cutting back trees/bushes, and setting traps. That was 2 years ago, and nary a rat in the house since. I live near open land, so I know the critters are out there, and that's fine, I just don't want them inside! Was going crazy with ants (all kinds). This has been the worst year we've ever had in the over 30 years at this residence. A friend recommended Pinpoint and I'm so glad he did. They were super nice to talk to and get info from. Came out and sprayed the outside and little areas inside. Didn't think the hundreds of ants we seem to have in the walls would be killed with the small amount of spraying inside (it's not something you have to leave for or worry about), but got up this morning and there wasn't an ant to be seen in kitchen, bath, on my desk or anywhwere else they've been for the past months. GREAT COMPANY We have been customers of this family- run business for 12 years, ever since we moved to the San Diego area. The people are top-notch. Very friendly, helpful, and keep our house and yard free of pests. Very ethical people too. We recently had a new back yard put in, and the squirrels were eating lots of our plants. We called Bill, the owner, and he spend at least 30 minutes with me and then another 25 minutes with my husband as he guided us through the process of how to get rid of the squirrels. (Due to state or national wildlife regulations, pest control companies are not permitted to do anything to animals that are classified as "wild".) I think that is ridiculous, but that is a whole other story. We DO have rats through-out our neighborhood, and through a safe bait program they have kept us rat-free. I also wanted to mention that the products that they use are pet-friendly, and I can let my dogs out in the yard even when they are spraying!! They use less "toxic" stuff than I put on my dogs monthly to keep them flea-free. read more

We have been using these guys for the past 2-3 years. After trying to deal with ants myself - and losing over and over (boric acid, cinnamon, ant baits, chalk, various homemade/store-bought sprays and more), I finally gave in and called Pinpoint after my friends recommended them.
