I have had wonderful experiences with Pinpoint. In our old home, we had major ant issues. I spoke with the owner who is very knowlegeable and personable. He explained what not to do and that they use a natural pesticide to get rid of ants. It was very effective and reassuring considering how I have small children. When we moved to our new home we had roof rats. They explained how to fix the problem and said we could pay them or fix it ourselves. We decided to fix it ourselves. They came over and inspected and said the rats were gone and did not charge us for the visit!!! Unfortunately, the rats have come back so I think we will pay them to seal out the rats. These guys saved me!!! My parakeet caught bird mites from an outside nest and the bugs spread to my wall!!! Gross, and they bite humans too and can spread!!! Bird mites are a nightmare! One company left me high and dry, which I will review too, but these guys came out quickly and treated the whole house. They had a lot of knowledge and were very nice. They are a family company which I liked. The mites still didn't want to die off after the first treatment, so they came out again right away when we called them the second time. Instead of just spot treating the area, they did the whole house TWICE. Their price blew me away. Another company wanted hundreds just to treat the local area, whereas these guys treated the whole house for barely anything in my book! Turns out, the bugs were harmless, and he told me how to get rid of them by myself without charging me a dime. I was having a big problem with brown and black widow spiders. They were everywhere, under ledges of the house stucco, under patio furniture, water faucets outside. Pinpoint did a 2-part extermination (included in the one price quote), the first getting rid of any ants that might be a food source. The second getting rid of the spiders themselves. I went into the backyard shortly after the second round and found a DEAD black widow hanging from the handle of my side gate. The same handle my kids use to go in and out of the yard. He saved me some money and suggested that I not spray just for scorpions, because I live on the edge of a wilderness Glenn. He told me that scorpions in the area are harmless and set my mind at ease. Excellent service, I have use Pinpoint for Bee hives twice in 2 locations over a couple of years. I found a mouse nest in my garage and called them immediately. They where out the next day . He went through the garage w/my husband and they found that we had a major infestation. He told us we had to clear out years of junk. (I'm embarrassed to say). and get rid of bird feeders. I spent 3 days cleaning, rat feces and urine under both work benches, really gross. Pinpoint said after it is cleaned we will set traps.
