    Banh Mi pizza
    Chris ?.

Wow, I don't stop to leave a lot of reviews, so when I say the ranch is insanely good, I mean it! It is the best ranch I've ever had in my life. The pizza is also fantastic. The beer, fantastic. If you haven't stopped here before, definitely give it a try.

Came to this location with a choir group i was driving to their competition in Austin. This location was SO ACCESSIBLE and ACCOMMODATING!! There was a group about 60 kids and 5 adults that they served and were so kind to check in with over the course of our meal. The pizza itself was FANTASTIC! Makes me want to visit the one closer to our home. I recommend anywhere that takes schools with such ease and I will return with my aquatics team if we are ever in the area.

Pinthouse has one of the best and most delicious lunch specials! For $17.50 you can get a variety of combo variations. A 10" personal pizza, salad and drink. Salad, pizza roll and drink or half a sandwich, chips and drink. I went with the personal pizza combo with the Pinthouse pizza. Their pinthouse pizza has the perfect combination of ingredients with a lil sweet, crunchy and savory. Including blue cheese my favorite. My friend and I got two different pizzas to share. The Hoe Down and the Shroomin Goat. The Hoe Down the cauliflower may catch you off guard, but go for it! It's the best! If you love mushrooms and a peppery arugula then the Shroomin Goat is your pie! Staff is amazingly friendly and huge space for friends, family and kiddos!

Their white sauce pizzas are SO yummy. I would recommend over the red if you had to choose between the two (might feel heavy for some people but I thought it was just right). The crust is the perfect balance of chewy, moist and crisp without being dry or soggy. A local favorite pizza shop for a reason and it can accommodate very large parties with its massive interior. Perfect dinner spot - always get the large size haha

How quickly we forget that every place is packed on game days/nights. We ended up ordering to go, but the wait was still going to be 30 minutes so we decided to find a place to sit and wait. Eventually we got a table and decided we would just eat here. The ambiance is energetic and bustling. It's full of people watching and cheering on their teams. Since we decided to stay, we added a salad to the order. The salad came out quickly and was quickly devoured. The pinthouse salad is baby spinach, red onion, candied pecans, cranberries, blue cheese, and poppy seed dressing. It's a combination that works exceptionally well together. We ordered pepperoni with basil and since the order was to-go, the basil was going to be on the side (in a container). I don't know what the deal is with basil-do restaurants keep low inventory? do people complain about the flavor? Every time we order basil, we get like two leaves. It's like they can only chop up one or two per order. So was disappointed in the amount of basil that was on the pizza. It was still delicious. Hot, crispy, chewy, and flavorful, albeit not full of basil flavor.

We came here with a bunch of friends to just have some food and drinks. From all their locations, I think this is one of the smaller ones. We did come on a game night, which was pretty packed. Service was really fast and organized. I ordered the Italian sandwich and amerigo. I truly enjoyed the Italian one; it was so fresh, light, yet full of flavors. Their bread is amazing. Amerigo was also really good and light. I do wish they offered red wine; they only have white and rosé. We also ordered their braised meatball from their appetizer menu, and it was on the spicier side, but overall it was great. It's a loud bar environment with lots of bench seating that you can take a seat when one becomes available.

    Honey pear pizza

Went to Pinthouse Pizza and honestly - wow. I got the Honey Pear Pizza, and the moment I took a bite it was an explosion of flavor. The blue cheese adds a richness that some people might find strong, but to me, it was perfect. My husband got the Del Villaggio, topped with chopped pistachios and stracciatella, and it was just as incredible.

I wouldn't say that I've ever had a negative experience at this place. I love the S Lamar location , this is my Friday night spot - and I love it for all the reasons - an extremely friendly staff, awesome beer collection, an even awesome pizza collection. I was so sad when they made banh mi optional, but now they have the armadillo pizza and it is equally good, and I'm back too as a result haha. Definitely one of my favorite hangout spots in Austin. Highly recommend

You wouldn't think there'd be a bustling beer and pizza joint in the middle of a strip mall, but that's exactly what this place is. I can't even believe how packed this place was and yet they managed to pump out very very good pizza that would make a New Yorker think twice when they had this. Service was fantastic especially considering there might have been easily a hundred covers while we were sitting there. Pet friendly, plenty of parking and an open seating plan. Everybody's very friendly and helped out with what they were eating and pointed out what's good, which seemed to be everything. Sports on the TV and a very expansive beer selection with fantastic Pizza to boot. A very cool atmosphere from start to finish. Awesome place to be.

I've been to every Pinthouse location in Austin, Texas, and I take everyone who visits the city there. I recommend it to everyone! No matter what you order from the menu, it's guaranteed to be finger-licking good. The seating is casual, with long benches where you can sit anywhere you like. Whether it's a weekday or weekend, they stay busy from open to close. Just walk in, order your beer and pizza, find a table, and enjoy your drink while waiting for your delicious pizza to be brought to you. There are screens playing the latest games, adding to the lively atmosphere. It's always crowded--because it's just that good! Don't just read my review -- Runnnnnn !!!!

    Cannonball
    Diego A.

We went to Pinthouse Pizza in Austin and tried the Honey Pear and the Cannonball. The Honey Pear had an amazing mix of flavors, with the sweetness of the pear blending perfectly with the caramelized onions and prosciutto. The Cannonball, even though it's loaded with pepperoni, ham, and bacon, felt balanced and not heavy at all. We also ordered a classic pepperoni as kind of a control, and even though it was simple, it turned out really good and not greasy. The garlic ranch on the side made the crusts extra tasty. Overall, great pizza and a place we'd definitely go back to.

Scorpion Disco (West Coast IPA); The Hoe Down, small classic pie, with vegan cheese
    Ken M.

Elecric Jellyfish (Hazy IPA) is good, but I like Scorpion Disco (West Coast IPA) even better. I enjoyed a The Hoe Down, small classic pie, with vegan cheese. The vibe is lively during lunch hour. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Pinthouse is an Austin classic and long time favorite of mine. The big interiors with long tables and benches are perfect for any large friend gathering in Austin. This was the perfect place for my party of 20 people to get lunch without a reservation in Austin on a Sunday. I love every single pizza here, but my favorites are the ooh la la and the honey pear. (Back when they still had it on the menu, the Bahn Mi was my favorite). No matter your preference of pizza, a must must get is the jalapeño ranch (or normal ranch for those afraid of spice). Pinthouse makes their ranch in house and they are so deliciously creamy and rich-very addicting to eat with each slice. No other place in Austin does large specialty pizzas as well as Pinthouse. They also have some of my favorite draft beers (my go to is the Joes Magical Pils).

Food & Beer 4/5: I had the magic carpet sour and it was very good, although I will say it isn't as sour as a typical sour would be. Nice drink overall and I think someone who isn't a sour fan may still enjoy it - it gives more cider honestly. My friend and I split the veggie quesadillas and the chips and salsa. The veggie quesadilla was good, the mushrooms they put in it were fab - I wouldn't say it's exceptional for the price but it was good. The chips and salsa were also good, but the salsa was a much thicker green and cilantro based something - I wouldn't exactly call it salsa, but it was good, just a bit misleading. I think they should add a descriptor on the menu, salsa usually means red unless otherwise noted imop.

Never had any restaurant worker be this rude to me ever in my life. Like wow. My friend and I spontaneously went here to eat lunch and we didn't know there was a dad joke competition happening, so it was packed with people. We were able to find a spot on the bottom right corner of the space. We ordered through the QR code link. My friend ordered a beer. About 15 minutes later, a man approached our table, wasn't looking in our direction, didn't greet us, didn't say a word. He still had a grip on the mug which he placed on the table. So we were startled because we were confused: we thought he was a random person approaching our table to sit with us, like a drunk man stumbling to our table. We had 2 men come up to us prior to the server, one asking to take our 3rd chair and another drunkenly taking a paper from our table that was there when we arrived. We had our guard up. The place was packed, people were drinking, and the server (who didn't confirm with us about the drink, didn't say anything, didn't look us in the eye) looked a little disheveled, so can you blame us for thinking he wasn't a server? Management: He's older (I'm guessing in his 40s, maybe early 50s) with wild-ish hair, was either caucasian with a slight tan or was mixed with latino. So when he finally looked up and saw our reaction and asked who ordered the beer, he didn't give us a chance to say anything before preceding to literally SCOLD us saying "see this is why you have to pay attention to what you ordered because this always happens to us servers". He was so rude about it! Assuming we were not paying attention to our orders and inconveniencing him. No, sir, we were confused about YOU creeping up on us the way you did. We literally had no idea he was a server! At the end he was the one who collected our plates, still with a horrible attitude. This man seriously needs to not work in the food service industry or customer service. These are the types of experiences that makes me never want to come back ever to any place again. EVER.
