The "toasted bread" was basically bread smeared with seasoning, and neither entrée had much flavor or anything memorable about it. Her gnocchi portion was about half the size it used to be, and my lasagna was swimming in heavy red sauce--it was more like soup than lasagna. At these prices, we expected much better. Between the poor service, long wait, smaller portions, and decline in the quality of the food, we won't be coming back.

Stopped by this location for a quick dinner before my son's school event, and it turned out to be a great choice. We were on a tight schedule, so I really appreciated how quickly everything was handled. They offer an "all-you-can-eat" gnocchi special every 29th of the month, which I highly recommend if you are into those heavenly tiny potato dumplings. This time the pizza came out incredibly fast--hot, fresh, and exactly what we needed to keep the evening on track. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Signing up for the rewards program was easy, and the discount we received was a pleasant surprise. It's always nice when a business shows a little extra appreciation for their customers. My only issue was that the kid-sized pizza costed as much as the special I ordered, so we could've easily shared that instead. Maybe a heads-up from the server would've been nice. My wife and I have been craving great quality pizza for a while and we've tried basically most of them in the city expect Piola. When we found out that Piola existed we gave it a try and wow!!! the definition of best pizza is far beyond from any book. We went during lunch/dinner time so it was a little busy but we were given the best hospitality by a server named Kelsey. We could tell it was a busy night and it wasn't going to be a issue for us to wait a little bit for our service through out the night but Kelsey went the extra mile and made sure that we were satisfied with everything. He made it seem like that night was a piece of cake and which made our night the best night to experience. I'm for sure going to bring my family and friends next time and hopefully Kelsey will be there when we do. Manager on duty also gave us a complementary drink to welcome us for the first time and man I can't tell you how much I felt welcomed with everyone. If I could, I would rate this restaurant 10/10. A friend told me about how good the food was so I downloaded their App to order pickup. The ordering experience was intuitive and supported Apple Pay! I am vegan and I was concerned my request for no cheese would not be clear, I don't prefer vegan cheese generally speaking. I called the restaurant to clarify and they had already honored the requested and let me know the pizza would be done quicker than the promised time. When I went in, I had additional questions about their gluten free crust ingredients (for my kids' allergies) and they gave me the info I needed. There are a few Piola restaurants spread throughout South Florida. But this location on Sheridan street is by far the best for a few reasons. Not only is the food amazing but the service is impeccable. Once seated a server is quick to attend your table with a proper introduction. They are quick, polite, and welcoming. I have also noticed that all of the servers are knowledgeable of the menu and which dishes are most popular. If you are in the area be sure to visit Anna and her incredible staff at Piola of Davie. Just ate at Piola on Sheridan. We've been here before and always had a good time. Today we had La Vegana pizza (which was crunchy and delicious), the Legano Gnocchi and the Penne Rosate which were both suggested by our Server RJ. Piola used to be a decent restaurant when they first opened....they used to cook properly, their sauce was delicious and tasty and their gnocchi was well cooked. Fast forward one year later and now their recipes are totally off and tasteless, pasta is overcooked , the gnocchi is mushy and their pizza is not Italian authentic... Such a disappointment they need to bring back the original manager who used to keep the place on point read more

I've eaten in many different Piola locations but this one has far the best service and customer attention. They make you feel as part of the family. I bought a quick lunch here consisting of two slices. The pizza is tasty. They have good garlic rolls as well. Over the years I have bought many pies here. They are somewhat near where I live, so it is convenient. They have a variety of toppings, but I usually stick with cheese. I think the quality of the cheese is excellent. The crust has the right amount of firmness for me. Tbey also sell sandwiches and have a few tables outside to enjoy your food. Every day, all day they have a $7.99 special. You get two cheese slices with a drink. Good deal.

Steve's Pizza is well established and offers excellent pizza by the full pie or by the slice with a walk in Grab & Go concept offering delivery, compared to a hectic one hour sit down restaurant that frowns on pizza slices. Upon entering, I noticed the two monster cheese pizzas sitting on the counter next to the stainless steel double ovens. Ordered an oversized slice of cheese pizza that was cut from the full pie and slid into the oven and heated to perfection for about $3.50. Watched the pizza dude hand spin the dough into another pizza while waiting a few minutes for my slice to hopefully curb the hunger pains in my gut. Served piping hot with a straight out No Flop. The cornicione had two beautiful charred bubbles with a light brown undercarriage. The first bite produced a loud crunch with a nice zesty garlic flavored sauce, and the lightly oiled cheese did not fall off the edges. Thoroughly enjoyed my slice of heaven on the outside patio table while listening to the attendant at the drive thru window at the McDonalds across the parking lot repeatedly say, "Welcome to McDonalds, can I take your order? To say the least it was comical. Great quality oversized pizza with quick service for a reasonable price - will return.

Love the north Miami one they say they are the same but doubtful.
