Service and pizza were amazing! We were greeted and sat right away. The establishment was playing holiday music and everyone seemed happy. The menu had a good amount of pasta and pizzas. Our server, Evan was great!!!!

To start we ordered the focaccia sticks, and they were simply incredible. Each bite was a delightful combination of softness and crispiness, making it difficult to stop at just one. Moving on to the main course, I couldn't resist trying the gnocchi with white sauce. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The gnocchi was cooked to perfection, with a tender texture that melted in my mouth. The creamy white sauce had just the right balance of flavors, complementing the gnocchi without overpowering it. It was a dish that left me wanting more even after I had finished every last bite. My boyfriend opted for the lasagna, and he was equally impressed. The layers of pasta, meat, cheese, and sauce came together harmoniously, creating a dish that was rich and satisfying. He couldn't resist eating my gnocchi as well, and I couldn't blame him because it was truly so so good. Throughout our meal, the service at Piola was attentive and friendly. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations when we were deciding what to order. We will definitely be going back soon!

The pizza we've been praying for. I love going to a good pizza joint. Piola, once again, spot on and I finally got to try something different other than their Penne Rosata. Both pizza's were delicious & mommy bf sub'd for Follow Your Heart Vegan cheese and added mushrooms. He loved it!!!! I love mushrooms on anything, so I got the Funghi Misti & it was everything. The service was great, she was helpful with her suggestions and kept it honest which helped us make our decisions. I'd def go back & they have happy hour specials on pizza so if you can catch that! Get into it! I also got a Caesar Salad prior, which was a good size so I actually didn't finish my whole pizza. All in all, this is my new go to near the crib. I'm excited about it, hope you check this place out wherever you are! They have locations all over.

The pizza is great. I love thin crust pizza. It's always fresh and it's pretty fast service from order to food receipt.

We started with the Caesar salad and I have to say that this was one of the best Caesar salads I've ever eaten. The dressing was creamy and delicious and the homemade croutons tasted great and added the perfect crunch and texture. We were also served warm, crusty bread with was amazing! For our mains we ordered chicken Parmesan and baked ziti and the burnt broccoli. None of us felt like driving but they do have a substantial wine room and great wine list. Everything was so good and it was nice that the server prepared our plates for us. All of us were too full for dessert and we still had some baked ziti left over which we took home for lunch the next day. Service was great and it was a beautiful night for eating out on the patio along the water. Prices were a bit high but then again that seems to be the norm these days. I'll definitely go back again to try some of their other menu items and to get that Caesar salad again!

It felt like a completely different place than when we were here just a few months ago. The service was awful. Our waitress kept disappearing, and when we asked for a simple ingredient change, we were told it couldn't be done, which made us question how fresh everything really is. Our food also took forever to come out, and both my wife's dish and my lasagna were completely different from what we've ordered here in the past. Her gnocchi portion was about half the size it used to be, and my lasagna was swimming in heavy red sauce--it was more like soup than lasagna. At these prices, we expected much better. Between the poor service, long wait, smaller portions, and decline in the quality of the food, we won't be coming back.

The service we received from Roberto, our Host, was spectacular. We selected various items from the menu, ranging from antipasti to start to our main courses. Our host answered all our questions about the dishes very courteously and friendly. Personally, I am a fan of prawns, though I don't order them often because, in some places, what they actually serve are just "fancy" shrimp. At Sardinia Zona Blu, however, Roberto recommended their "Gamberoni alla Griglia"--grilled jumbo prawns with sautéed vegetables. I was very pleased with this choice. Overall, all the dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious. The wine selection is excellent, as are the desserts. In short, we had a fantastic culinary experience. It is the kind of place that leaves you wanting to come back. We will return soon!

I started with the Caprese di Bufala -- a creamy ball of buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes, pesto, and basil, drizzled with EVOO. The cheese was delicious, but I do wish there had been more pesto. It felt like there was more EVOO than pesto. For my main course, I ordered the Saltimbocca Sardo: a 12 oz bone-in pork chop grilled and served in a Vermentino and sage sauce, topped with capocollo and accompanied by mashed potatoes. One note: the menu doesn't mention that the pork chop is bone-in, so that's something to keep in mind. The pork chop was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were fantastic -- silky, smooth, and perfectly made. I had an Italian Pinot Grigio with my appetizer, which was excellent, and a Chianti with dinner. The Chianti was a-OK, although the Pinot Grigio was definitely my favorite of the two. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner. The pork chop, sauce, and mashed potatoes were the standouts for me, and I'd happily come back to try some of the other dishes. I recommend.

It's a smallish restaurant but they also have seating outside. From what I understand they do have an area for private parties. We were seated and given our menus and told about the house specials. I ordered the taglioline cacio e pepe and my husband got the fettuccine meatballs. All the pastas in the restaurant are homemade and the one I ordered was prepared table side in a cheese wheel. I don't even know where to start except to say that this was so delicious and definitely one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. The cheese sauce was so creamy and there was a slight taste of truffle in there. They ask you if you'd like pepper in it so I had them add a little bit to cut out some of the creaminess of the sauce. My husband's fettuccine was equally as delicious and I loved the meatballs and I'm usually not a person who likes restaurant made meatballs because I think mine are the best! For dessert we split a slice of tiramisu and it was very good. Sangria was very good as well. Mimmo, the owner and chef came over to say hello and to make sure we were enjoying our food and service. It was really nice chatting with him and I told him that we are definitely going to be repeat customers! It's not visible from the street so I'd suggest using your GPS there first time you go there unless you're familiar with the area.

It was very casual.. all the service staff that we encounter were very friendly and although they were busy, our server was doing his best to check on us and get us what we need. We did not get any appetizers as we saw how big the portions were coming out of the kitchen for the dinners. We ordered the filet mignon and the chicken Parm with penne à la Vaca sauce I will say the steak was outstanding. I listed in my top three filet mignon that I've had. There is nothing I could say bad about it, and I did not expect this quality of steak from an Italian restaurant. The chicken Parm was an nice size portion and had great flavor with the penny à la sauce. The reason I did not give them five stars is because the pasta that came with it was way overcooked and not al dente. It did have a mushy texture. As for the chicken itself, it had great flavor however, the breading on it was kind of doughy like it had sat in the sauce for too long before it was brought to our table. We are definitely gonna return to this location as we really enjoyed ourselves.

Review of Salumeria 104 - Weston, FL…read more I had high hopes for Salumeria 101, especially on a special occasion like Mother's Day, but the experience ended up being far too inconsistent to recommend. Reservation & Check‑In We arrived at 2:15 PM for a 2:30 PM reservation made earlier that morning at 11:30 AM via OpenTable, which was also confirmed in the app. Despite this, both the receptionist and the manager (short, bald, with a beard) seemed confused and unprepared. The manager struggled to accept that a reservation could exist simply because it wasn't on the hard‑copy printout he had made earlier in the day. It created an awkward and unnecessary delay, and it didn't inspire confidence in how the restaurant manages its bookings and how management values guest experience. Service Service throughout the meal was extremely slow. While it was Mother's Day, the restaurant wasn't at full capacity, and the pace didn't match the level of busyness. It felt more like a coordination issue than a volume issue. Food A true mixed experience--half the dishes were great, half were disappointing. Highlights * Arancini - Crispy, flavorful, and well‑executed. * Calamari & Shrimp - Tender, lightly fried, and delicious. * Cacio e Pepe - Nicely balanced and enjoyable + great table side presentation in a cheese wheel. * Penne à la Vodka - Creamy and well‑prepared. * Tiramisu - Outstanding. Easily the best part of the meal and absolutely worth ordering. Misses * Lasagna - Extremely dry and lacking proper saucing. * Caesar Salad - Also dry and under‑dressed. Both dishes felt neglected and didn't meet even basic expectations for Italian staples. Overall With slow service, reservation confusion, and half the dishes falling short, Salumeria 101 didn't deliver the level of quality you'd expect--especially on a holiday. While some items were genuinely excellent, the inconsistency makes it hard to justify a return visit. Weston has more reliable Italian options--Tarantella's, for example, consistently delivers better food and smoother service. Verdict: Pass.
