ALERT- BAD I called these guys and spoke to Johnathan with a set appointment for the next day at 10:00 am. When they arrived late near noon, they parked in the driveway with a truck that was leaking a lot of oil. The diagnosis was a leaky pipe in the wall and was priced at $795.00 to repair. They shut off the water and did the repair, but when the water was turned on, their repair leaked. They then told me I had to pay another repair fee to correct their leaky repair, to which I objected. Jonathan said he would put a lien on our home if I didn't pay another fee. I objected and was forced to call another company to correct their faulty job, and then had to clean up the oil in the driveway. Do not use Jonathan or anyone from this company; they are unethical, unreliable, and bad workers. I'm told to file a report with the contractors board. read more

I recently had my whole house repiped after multiple slab leaks. Pipe It Right came recommended to me and I am so happy we used them! They completed the entire house repipe in one day. I had a bad experience with Pipe it Right, which finished a re-pipe on my house this week (July 2025) in Mission Viejo. 1. The biggest problem was that the installation crew switched hot and cold water lines for 1/2 of the house - I had hot water going into my upstairs toilet, into the refrigerator, and to the outdoor spigot, and they switched hot and cold on my kitchen sink, master shower, and master tub. How does an experienced crew screw up something so basic? Answer: I don't think they were that experienced. This may be the reason their online reviews only seem to go back three years. And because I didn't find most of these problems until after the all of the ceiling patching was done, they had to cut and patch TWICE. Not fun. Hearing them cut into the sheetrock the second time was painful. Attached is picture of SECOND set of cuts in the kitchen ceiling after it had been completely patched and retextured. And obviously this took more time. 2. Some of the cuts in the wall were pretty bad. See picture. This makes it harder to patch, but the bigger problem is it reflects on the quality of work. 3. When they removed the copper piping, they let water drain out in between the walls next to my downstairs bathroom, so I have staining on the baseboards and they will need to get repainted or replaced (once they dry out). See pictures. 4. Secondary problems. The more times workmen have to come back to the house, the more stuff gets damaged. Dishwasher top got scratched when it was taken out to fix first set of problems. See picture. 5. When the problems became apparent the company definitely was responsive, but communication from Paulina the job coordinator became curt, with no apology, giving the impression that I was somehow the problem. This was infuriating. Michael the salesman had stressed the competency of the workers and the quality of the work, and Paulina said she was sending her "best crew", but that was not my experience. I'm still giving them two stars because the company was responsive to correct the problems (thanks very much to Luis, who was great), because the sheetrock patching job Isaias and his crew did (twice) was superb, and because the new water lines seem to work. But the installation was a trainwreck, the remediation process was frustrating, and I'm now really, really concerned about what issues may be hidden in my walls waiting to pop up in the future. I regret my decision to hire them. read more

Pipe-It-Right recently did a complete overhaul on our household plumbing in Poway. They replaced our existing plumbing lines with new PEX-A lines, because our old plumbing lines had an accumulation of hard water deposits. They also replaced all our sink and shower plumbing faucets, flushed out our existing water heater, installed a Halo 5 whole house water softener/ filtration system , and added a Moen Smart Valve. Carlos was in charge of the repipe work, and was very knowledgeable, hardworking and professional! Cynthia was very helpful, too, in coordinating our work on site. We used GreenSky to help fund most of the project, and they offered one year of financing with 0% interest. (This was very useful!) We really appreciated how Pipe-It- Right provided all the drywall patching labor & materials, after their plumbing work was complete. The drywall crew was very professional, and did a great job of concealing all the ceiling and wall holes. I needed 4 Tankless Water heaters installed at my Laundromat as well as remove the enormous old Water Boiler. We were initially assigned to this company through Re-Pipe specialists and they waited until one and a half days before the major project to send their foreman out to walk the property. He was annoyed to be there, told us he wasn't getting paid for this and proceeded to tell us we had to move appliances, entire rooms of furniture and if they weren't moved by 7:30 AM they wouldn't perform the job. I had a slab leak several months ago, got it taken care of by a local plumber of good reputation. Not 8 months later I'm dealing with a second leak, nothing to do with the first that I fixed. So naturally I called them first, I said lets make sure this doesn't happen again so lets repipe the entire house, their reply "We don't do that, however we work with a company that specializes in whole house repipes, call Pipe it Right". So although I found that to be odd, I called and spoke with a nice young lady by the name of Cynthia, she set up an appointment to have an estimator come out. As part of my due diligence, I called out 2 additional companies, so I could compare pricing, they were both familiar with "Pipe it Right". The estimator, Jim I think his name was, was patient, explained everything to me, took me through the process and answered questions I didn't even know I had. After reviewing all the bids, although Pipe it Right wasn't the cheapest, they instilled confidence so I selected them. I have a 3 bathroom home, these gents showed up promptly, led by a gentleman named Alberto and was able to completely repipe my entire house with PEX and have my water back on that day. I think they may have put about 80 holes inside and out of my home and I literally was devastated looking around. I waited a few days for my local city inspector to approve and sign off the work. The following day after the inspection the "hole closing crew" showed up led by Humberto, these gents closed and textured the entire house including the stucco work in just one day. WOW!!!! This was a tremendous undertaking that I thought would take months to get through, 10 days from my first call for an estimate, the entire job was complete. I was extremely happy with drywall and stucco work, water is flowing and I have a lifetime guarantee that is transferable if I decide to sell my home. Pipe-it-Right sent out Lou who gave us an estimate on running a new main water line from the street to our house. The price was good and he came back the next day with a crew member. The job required running the pipe under several feet of brick work that we didn't want to disturb, across the front yard grass and under sidewalk. No problem. We used Pipe-It-Rite to solve a recurring under slab leak problem in our house. The work was done in 3 days. On the first long day the actual repipe was done. On the second day the county building inspector approved of the work and on the third day, a new set of workers came to patch the holes in our walls and ceiling. After an expensive pipe leak, we decided to have our 30 year old house repiped. Lou Ramirez & his crew did an awesome job with minimal inconvenience to our tenant. The majority of the work was completed in one day. They handled the permit, contacted the city for inspections, & followed up to make sure it was signed off. A repipe means lots of holes cut in drywall & stucco, but they did an excellent job with the repairs and it's virtually impossible to tell where the cuts were. Lou went above & beyond what was expected & installed a smoke detector & CO detector (our tenant had removed them) in order for the city to sign off on the job. He found the crack drain pipe and replaced it within hours. We decided we had to Repipe our house after getting two leaks. We contacted Repipe Specialists and a few other companies. We liked how Jim from Repipe Specialists explained everything to us patiently and very precisely. We decided to go ahead with them. They told us that Pipe it right would be doing the work for us. We are happy with how the project went forward. Everything was done professionally and the workers also cleaned up very well before they left. They did a good job and the head plumber who was on site at the day of Repipe was very patient and went over everything multiple times. When we were faced with the unfortunate prospect of having to completely re-pipe our home, Pipe It Right saved the day. Their customer service is impeccable, and all calls and text were returned almost instantly. Their process is streamlined and efficient and they take care of everything. You don't have to worry about scheduling inspections, locating drywall guys, anything like that. They do it all. All you will need to do is take care of painting the patched areas when the work is completely. Assuming your city has a permitting department that will inspect immediately, the whole process only takes three days. Like most people with a plumbing leak, we were in a big hurry and they were able to schedule our job within a day of giving us a very competitive quote. All of the plumbing work was done in a single day, and we were able to use our sinks and showers the same night (free of leaks at last!) Plastic drapes were placed everywhere to control dust, furniture was covered, and all of our wood floors and carpets were carefully covered in any place the crew would be walking or working. The guys carefully cleaned up all dust, scraps, etc. before they left. As soon as the city inspected the plumbing work, another crew was sent out to patch all the holes in the drywall and outside walls. (I believe that in most areas, this would happen the very next day. In my city, we had a one week delay before an inspector could come.) The repairs were expert, wall texture matched perfectly and a few bits of incidental damage to bathroom tile were perfectly repaired. My city required an intermediate inspection before stucco could be applied, and once that was done, Pipe It Right bent over backwards to squeeze in the stucco repair on the one non-rainy day in a week-long spell of heavy rains. Again, the stucco application was expert and perfectly matched the existing texture. We are grateful to Pipe It Right and would encourage anyone who needs to re-pipe to give them a call. read more
