You can tell it was done by a brush or something loose and that it is fresh scratches. When tell management he says they are not responsible for stolen or damage property and moved my cat out the way to continue other cars. I had to call the police and make a report. I saw other cars come it with scratches but not as severe as mine. I knew i should have left when i pulled in and saw unorganized. Under new Indian management. They trying to do too much now. They closed off the walk thru to see the car go thru the wash cycles and they are washing off and using soapy scrub brush after it comes out the wash tunnel. Leads me to believe cars are not going thru all the cycles that customers pay to get, like wax and protectant coats. They slower, got cars all piled, waiting to b vacuumed and wiped down. They put in slot machines taking up 1/4 of the site area. Got a food truck in parking lot now taking up space where cars are normally moved to. It just seems and runs very shiesty and unorganized. Used to b my favorite local car wash but this will b my last time coming here. Whole new crew of workers too. Do not come here!!!! to the ppl who knew how to wash a damn car?

The reason is because no-one is as honest, humble or as kind as Jay is. You can drop off your car which is very convenient. Jay diagnosed mine and explained everything in plain English without being patronizing. He's very responsive to messages, gave an honest assessment and didn't try to overcharge or upsell me. I went to Pure on the recommendation of three childhood friends who still live here. They ALL said to go to Pure. I grew up in Decatur and left for grad school many years ago. I recently returned after living in four states during my career. I have always had three criteria when I make a move to a new location, and they have served me well. Find: 1. A Doctor you can relate to and trust. 2. Someone who gives a great haircut. 3. An auto mechanic you can trust and who does great work. I've found #3 in Decatur Pure Station. After my early check-in, I sat in the waiting area for about two hours, watching and listening to the manager interacting with customers. My observations? Friendly, matter-of-fact, clear. Andy explained everything going on with his client's cars. He made recommendations, and more importantly, noted what didn't need to be done. He gave accurate representations about when services would be completed. For my car, he got the part quickly and told me they had looked over the whole car and only found one repair that needed to be made (besides my originating situation). He was accurate in his honesty, because I already knew I was needing a new rear brake job in the next month. While my car was being repaired, I walked around downtown Decatur. I reacquainting myself with some old, and mostly new, businesses and restaurants. I arrived back at the repair shop in the mid-afternoon, just after they finished repairing the car. Andy explained everything they did, and gave me a very fair price for the service I received. Am I ever glad to have found Pure. Five Stars, and even higher.

I came on a Friday afternoon after work around 4:30 pm and there was one person ahead of me. Staff tech Jarrell is friendly and helped me find the hood release button which was hidden and I was unfamiliar with the location. They also recommended change of air filter so I did that too. I like how the prices were clearly visible and how they explained to me the difference of the two different synthetic oils. Jarrell also showed me the oil level on my dipstick. I chose the Mobile Advance synthetic which lasts 8-10 thousand miles, while their brand lasts 5 thousand miles. I like how they honored the $25 coupon I requested a couple days in advance. They offered to top off my oil ig I bring it back. I took a snap shot of my coupon which is good because the text message did not load the following day. Staff was attentive and respectful. I recommend this location for good service!
