What can i say except food is great good beer and alot of really nice people. I'm from Washington state and found them when Rob from Barstow brewery was telling me all the places that sold his beer. Stopped by and had some excellent food and Barstow brewery beer which is also excellent. Nothing better than a good sports bar and have been there many times while I've been stuck here in Barstow waiting for an RV repair. Ambiance, it's a sports bar, with good service to go with great food and all the great people I've met here. This place will be a regular stop now as I pass by heading to Arizona and back. One more thing, the BBQ pulled pork sandwich is killer. read more

Really wanted to like this place. Saw all the great reviews on Yelp and thought "wow"! In Barstow? A cool bar with great food? I'm going! So after driving an extra 2 hours from AZ because they are open until MIDNIGHT on Thursday nights, Rolled in at 8:45PM and found a very disappointing draft beer selection ( sorry, Bud Light is not really a beer) but decided to order a bottled IPA so I could enjoy some of that great food. As soon as I got my beer I asked for a menu....."oh, the kitchen is closed!" WHaaaaaTt? It's not even 9 yet! I have an idea....HOW ABOUT MAKING THAT CLEAR? Really disappointing. BTW. This would have been a 1 star review except for the fact that the employees were really nice, even though they were obviously trying to clean up and go home. Stopped at the Pit Stop Bar & Grill on my way home from Las Vegas today. What a delightful experience it was! I had to make a bathroom stop first, and was pleasantly surprised and impressed by how well appointed and spic-n-span it was! Then the very welcoming bartender/waitress, who I later found out is named Niki, brought us menus and took our drink orders. By the time she came back with our drinks, we were ready to order our food. I ordered the garlic chicken wings, which came with coleslaw and celery and carrot sticks. My sister ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which came with a side of fries. We were both absolutely delighted (should I say blown over?) by how delicious all of the food was!!!!! Niki was very helpful and engaging, with impeccable timing throughout the meal. She and the cook were great. If you're driving to/from LV, and need a stop in Barstow, I recommend this place very, very highly!!!!!! read more

Seriously, if you are driving through Barstow, take an extra 15 minutes and go to the Pit Stop! A local place, not a chain, not crappy rest stop food. Some of the best chicken sandwiches we've ever had. Tater tots were spectacular. And even more so if you're traveling with your dog. People smile when you walk in with a dog. As always we are traveling with a dog, in fact 2 dogs this trip so the Yelp search was for a pet friendly lunch stop in Barstow. We hit the JackPot here. Not only were they dog friendly, they did not ban us to the shady patio, we enjoyed the AC and caught up on the ball game! We each ordered something different so we can promise you that the cheeseburgers, chicken tenders and the BLT are great! My BLT had thick, perfectly crispy applewood smoked bacon. IT WAS AWESOME!!! What a fun place! We were traveling to Barstow to meet up with our son and daughter who we're heading to Disneyland from Utah. Because they had their black lab in tow I called ahead to see if the Pit Stop could accommodate dogs. I was answered with a cheerful "yes, come on in!!" When we arrived the server/bartender greeted us all warmly and quickly got us seated in a comfy cool spot where the dog would be comfy too. She greeted Shadow and told us all about her dogs who were escape artists. She took our drink order, made some food and appetizer suggestions for our group. I ordered a lemon drop martini. She told me that she makes hers a little different and adds pineapple. I decided to try her version and it was very refreshing. She even brought me a little extra vodka. The food was served hot and delicious. Our table had the Mac and cheese bites and onion rings to start. Then I ordered the quesadilla with brisket. It was delicious! My husband decided on the pulled pork sandwich which he thoroughly and rapidly devoured. The others had hamburgers which were served hot and juicy. We all enjoyed the warm hospitality, quick friendly service, and hot delicious food! We will be sure to visit again on our next trip! read more

Amazing. We pulled up between Vegas and LA because we heard they were dog-friendly (and they are!) We were seated and right after we ordered there was a huge earthquake . Fortunately, no one was hurt and nothing was damaged! Server was incredibly patient and helpful with our kids and dog, and I would recommend this spot. The wings here were so tasty (dry-rub available) as were the tater tots! The place is impeccably clean. The female bartender was super nice. The patio is dog friendly. There is also a TV out there and Instagram-able USA flag wall. I was driving so I couldn't try the drinks, but this is some place I would definitely go for a night out if I lived in the town or was staying the night. Great locals and a down-home kinda spot! Stopped here on our way back from Las Vegas and we were not disappointed! The had minor issues like we my husband is gluten intolerant and he ordered a hamburger so instead of a bun he asked for extra lettuce it was a surprise when we saw the 1.25 charge for the lettuce! So having the bread was cheaper? Also, kinda sucked that we weren't informed of the extra charge. The bacon on the burger was a bit dry, but it was still yummy! I had a pulled pork sandwich with rye coleslaw on top with a side of tater tots and that was so good! They give you a bit of pull pork it fell off my sandwich! The third person with us had wings and fries the presentation looked great and he ate all 12 wings. I ordered a patty melt and it was so salty that I couldn't eat it! The cook must have dropped a ton on that burger! My husband had a grilled cheese sandwich and ended up giving me half so I had something to eat. There are plenty of places in the area to grab lunch while driving to Las Vegas! Stopped in for a quick bite with dogs on the way back to LA. The lady server was very friendly and she made a special section for me and my dogs to dine since the patio was closed die to the weather. The food was great, asked for extra raw onions on my sandwich and they gave very generous portion for two people. It was after lunch hours so very quiet and less crowded.
