This is our new go to! I love souvlaki and their chicken version is my current fave. I get the chicken platter every single time. The portions are generous an very filling. My ckn platter consists of 2 skewers with chicken, peppers ans thickly sliced onions, a generous helping of turmeric rice, hummus, tzatcki, salad and a pita. I always have leftovers for lunch. Beau usually selects the gyro platter (same as above but with gyro meat). Meat is fresh, flavorful and full of spices. Plus, the owner is so kind and talented in the kitchen! We got a Gyro pita, the falafel platter, Greek fries, and a traditional cheesesteak (with provolone of course), all were equally delicious and made fresh. Finally got to stop and try out Pita Island. We got the chicken plate ($13) the classic burger ($9/$13 with fries and a soda) and a kids grilled cheese ($6 with fries and a soda). The food was awesome, fresh, well seasoned, and extremely well cooked. Both people working inside were friendly and personable. The gal was really sweet and made sure we had everything we needed and engaged with our son which was awesome! There is also a drive thru, which is definitely convenient for me! Hands down the BEST Gyros we have had. Delicious gyro meat and the tzatziki is homemade right there. So fresh and delicious. The fries were so good with a light dusting of seasoning that was out of this world. Clean restaurant...super nice owners! We ate inside but they have a drive thru! Next time will try some kabobs. The food was fresh and very good! My husband and I tried the Chicken Shawarma platter with salad. We also got a Greek chicken Shawarma pita and Greek fries. We shared everything! The platter had big portions of rice and chicken. The hummus and tzatziki were tasty! I wished we had a extra pita!! The pita was BIG!! I'm personally not sure about the sauce. This place is the best for gyros - we've tried all the rest in the area. The gyro meat was tender and the gyro was packed full. The side salad as part of the combo was fresh & pretty big for a side. The Shwarma chicken gyro loaded up was not really spicy - just enough. The toppings left you with a nice cucumber after-taste. This establishment is new, so they deserve the benefit of the doubt. They have been open for about two weeks. It looks like they took out the old ordering area and moved it back to create more seating room. Their menu wasn't posted anywhere but they had paper menus available to look at. Everything here was great! My dad and I weren't sure what we wanted to order so we took a few minutes to look at the menu and the cashier was helpful in answering a few of our questions. We ended up ordering the chicken kebab platter and it was enough food for the both of us. The chicken kabob is made to order so it takes about 15 minutes, but it does say so on the menu and the cashier mentioned it while we were ordering it as well. The chicken and the sides it came with (salad, tzatziki, hummus, and rice) were all really tasty. Would def recommend this place. read more
