Mediterranean PITA
Elle S.

Soooooo awesome. It was our first time here and we will most definitely be back ASAP. Service was great! Portions were large and so fresh. The place was clean and inviting. I loved the Mediterranean Pita. My boyfriend loved the baba ganoush.

Chicken Philly
Lee Ann W.

First time here! That has to be one of the best chicken Philly I have had with tzatziki sauce! It came out piping hot and just as ordered, because I don't do green peppers. Small quaint restaurant, but the food is excellent! Service was spot on. Had about four customers in here at the same time. I would say definitely come in here for either lunch or dinner. They are open Monday through Sunday!

Amazing pita sandwich!

We came here on a Friday night about 7:00pm because of the great Yelp reviews! I have to say we agree with them! We had a gyro pita and a gyro pita plate. They were the best we've ever had! We can't wait to go again. You order at the counter and they bring the food out. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large! Everyone here is so friendly! Our new "go to" place for gyro pitas.

Falafel Pita

Great lunch spot, the pita and falafel here are both delicious!! I love that they have a drive thru too!

Everyone here is so friendly and the food is great I don't get by that side of town often but when I do, I have to stop here The food is so good. The price is reasonable.

So good - yummm! We tried their drive through tonight. Food came just as hot and fresh as if we were sitting inside.

Ask the Community - Pita Island

Do you use seed oils for the food / fries?

Hi, we use canola oil.

Are there any gluten free options?

Yes there are. I recall seeing them posted on the windows at the drive thru - check their site, I'm sure they are listed.

I see they have Greek fries however no description of what's on them; what are the fries covered with to make them Greek?

Hi, Our Pita Island Greek Fries contain a special garlic sauce made from fresh garlic cloves (not dry powder) and herbs the fries are topped off with freshly chopped parsely,…

Parking: it looks to be severely limited but there is so much more parking to the east we had no problem finding a spot. Cocktails: boozy. :-) We ordered the Wake Up Call sans espresso, plus the brunch punch. I had to ask for an extra shot of cream because drinking so much bourbon & rum on an empty stomach got me a little fuzzy in the head. LOL! Never fear, the wonderful food soaked up the booze, the amount of water I downed helped, AND we walked around the area, as well as visiting the book store next door. Food: caramel roll, caprese omelet, California benedict. 100% delectable. Nothing was left on our plates. We would have licked them off if so many people weren't surrounding us, enjoying their meals. Ha ha! Staff: the ebullient gentleman welcoming us "warned" us about their fresh cinnamon rolls, saying they're large as a head, and though you could eat one alone, you may want to share. He was NOT kidding & yeah, we shared. Our server, Olivia, was so happy and chatty, she was extremely pleasant & attentive. We never felt neglected or ignored. The only hiccup to the visit was seeing some young chickee at another table suck on a vape. Luckily, that was mere minutes before we left, otherwise, we would have snitched on her. ;-)

He was on top of the food descriptions. The vibe is great. Love the color scheme, the red banquets all around are cute and we liked sitting at the tables with the little so far chair seats. Manager stopped by and checked how things were. I don't drink so I consistently search out an ACTUAL mocktail menu that has some intention in it and isn't just a classic virgin mule/mojito. I had the grapefruit mocktail, yum, and presentation was lovely, it was refreshing. We got the wagyu pigs in a blanket, the white truffle deviled eggs, and the bacon wrapped shrimp. They hit it all out of the park. It was exactly what it should be and then some and we enjoyed every last bite. It was quiet as it was the end of a Monday night but server was still attentive but not overly attentive. The food was great and Cole's personality brought it all together nicely. Looking forward to coming back to try some burgers or entrees, see some music, and my boyfriend is gonna get the beer in a bag next time. We signed up for their rewards program on this visit. I ordered the Asian salad, and it was absolutely delicious. It was packed with flavor, fresh, and the portion size was just right. The restaurant itself is huge, with plenty of seating and a spacious, comfortable atmosphere. The service was great as well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. My only real criticism is that the menu felt a bit limited, especially for vegetarians. There weren't many vegetarian options available, which could make it difficult for some people to find something that appeals to them. That said, the food was great, the service was excellent, the pricing was fair, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. I would definitely return the next time I'm in Arizona.

The energy is always on point and the live music just takes the whole experience up another level. The tinga tostadas were absolutely amazing. So much flavor and perfectly balanced. The wine selection is superb, with enough variety to keep things interesting every time we come in. I do wish they had a few more steak options, but the New York is not an easy cut to get right and they nailed it. Cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. Kennedy took great care of us and made the experience even better. Liam, the busboy, was such a sweetheart and very attentive. You can tell the team works well together. If you like an Old Fashioned, they have the best one I have ever had. $18 but amazing! It was a beautiful evening and the doors & windows were open so all could enjoy it! We shared three different items and we both enjoyed them all. My complaint is the table and chairs. Both were leaning about 1-1/2" so we had to put our weight on them to level them. Also the chairs we were on had a weird slope that makes you slide out of them. Fix these and easily a 5 star rating.
