    Chicken Banh-Mi
    David W.

Pita Jungle is a great spot in the valley that never disappoints. My wife and I recently tried this location for lunch and it was excellent. She had the chicken shawarma and I went with the banh mi sandwich. Of course, if you come to PJ you better have some hummus too. I also recommend the house-brewed ice tea that is fantastic. Prices are reasonable and the staff is always very friendly. I have never had a bad meal at PJ and definitely didn't start this visit!

This is a place I've been coming to since 99' in Tempe, but the great thing is all of the locations have a similar vibe with the same great customer service and great food for an affordable price. Pita Jungle for president. Long live the Medchilada!

Kids meal to go chicken, mac n cheese cucumbers and fruits. Not pictured Guava Lemonade

The employees at this location are friendly and customer service is great. We ordered food for pickup and the order was correct and fast. I love that they have multiple healthy kids meal options to choose from (protein + carb + veggie + fruit). The kids to-go cups are cute and the guava lemonade was a hit. My favorite is always the sides, cilantro jalapeño hummus and potatoes. This time we got gyros and they were just okay. The gluten free pita tasted good (I hope it was actually GF, the gyro wrap wasn't labeled), but the gyro meat had too many burnt pieces. I prefer other menu items like their flatbreads and bowls and would order differently next time. I'll keep coming for the healthy variety and the hummus! Thanks for a great meal for the whole family

    Tuscan Salmon Salad

Ok, tried the Tuscan Salmon Salad tonight and it was fantastic. I give kudos to the kitchen staff because they work tirelessly even when their wood fired oven broke down. We also got our usual hummus trio small plate with green and red Sriracha sauce..., mmmm , mmmm, mmmmm. Oh top this off with dessert? Carrot cake please! Gotta love the Pita Jungle on Williamsfield in the Town of Gilbert. ‍

We haven't been to Pita Jungle in over a year. We decided to stop in for a quick dinner. They have an expansive gluten free menu! Our service was great and it was a nice relaxed vibe for dinner!

Pita Jungle never disappoints! My friend and I met for lunch and l ordered a la carte on the "inflation" menu and got 3 different tacos. Cauliflower, falafel and chicken. My favorite was the falafel, the spices and sauce were awesome! And it was a great deal for $9! *not sure if the menu is a limited time offer* However, you can not go wrong with some of the Pita Jungle staples: -hummus with grilled chicken -Philly chicken pita -garlic dip -Mediterranean chicken shawarma ....to name a few! My only minor complaint was the service. The gal who served us was nice enough but you could tell she didn't want to be there...or maybe her shift was ending? Either way.

Does curbside pickup normally take more than a half hour because that's how long I've been waiting here?

Hi Alfonso, I am not at the restaurant and don't know what time you were quoted, etc. Have you tried calling them?

Are you requiring your servers to wear masks?

    Yes!

Do they have a back room like the ahwatukee location for big parties that want a little more space? If so, is there a minimum order for that room/area?

No back room at this location

Does anyone know if there meat is halal?

Hi Roobi, it is not Halal! Thank you, Kevin

Music is always on pointe and I would never change the look or ambiance of the place either. My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. They also shared that they would be coming out with a new menu very soon and some of the new items and ideas that would be rolling out so I am also very excited to go back! The Parking & bathrooms are a bit of a walk & may be difficult for someone with disabilities. I only saw 1 handicapped parking space. Plus all but the handicapped space in the parking lot is just sand/gravel. There's only 1 door for customers & it's located at the very front of the building (closest to Gilbert Rd). Know that the ramp to get into the building is quite short & steep. Also, the bathrooms are shared by the buildings in the complex & located in a separate building located behind the restaurant. *The ladies bathroom was clean, had a baby changer, & AC. It has a nice sized patio that runs along the front & side of the building with shade, fans, & misters. Too hot for my group on a 100+ degree day in AZ. The setup works especially well for groups since there's plenty of seating and the ordering process keeps things moving even when it's busy. One thing they do very well is efficiency without losing hospitality. They have both a dine-in ordering counter and a dedicated to-go counter, which seems necessary because this place stays packed. Even during busy times, the staff stays friendly, attentive, and organized. You can tell there's real attention paid to each order and that management understands how to run a smooth restaurant operation. The menu has a lot of solid choices whether you want something lighter, comforting, vegetarian, or protein-packed. Portions were satisfying, and the broccoli deserves its own mention -- somehow simple but absolutely addictive. My only real note is that pricing feels a little high for an order-at-the-counter style restaurant. That said, the quality, atmosphere, and overall experience do make it easier to justify once in a while.

All dishes looked pretty good but on this day I was the burger guy. Not a large place but has ample seating for customers. They do have a bar if that is what you are looking for. Today we just wanted to eat and visit and chat. This place is located on Val Vista Road south of Highway 60. I would recommend this place if you are in the area. The service was good and there is ample parking.
