    Chicken pita with curly fries
    Karolina K.

Originally we wanted to try a different place but it was closed so we ended up here. They do have few clearly marked vegan options. There is no clear direction what to do when you get inside so we were didn't know what to do for sometime until finally we got someone's attention and she explained that you order at the counter, take a number and they bring you food. I got half size Thai Curry with added teriyaki tofu, my husband got the chicken pita with fries. Food took about 20 minutes to be ready. The pita was ok, chicken definetly needed more flavor. They have a complimentary bottles of hot sauce so that did help. The fries were amazing, they have curly fries which are not very common but delicious! Portion was large. My curry was also good, the tofu had a nice flavor and it was crispy. I was glad I got the half portion as it was huge and I took some home. The service was ok. The place has a cool vibe and a nice outdoor patio so you can enjoy your food al fresco.

Good food. Place was a little loud. Just people talking and the echo (some were employees). Pricing was a little on the high side. However, we did have a good experience and have no problem coming back. 5 stars. Check out our YouTube channel at Coolest Life.

Stopped here for lunch as we began our three day stay in CB. Attracted by the outdoor seating, turns out he food is simple and good, and the draft beer excellent. I had a falafel, spouse had marinated tofu. Good music playing on the patio, a bit loud depending on where you sit. Enjoyed it!

    Thai rice bowl. Vegan!

Leaving Crested Butte and driving through Gunnison, I looked up lunch options and this came up. The great: 1. Lots of vegan options and choices galore for anyone. 2. Spicy lovers can live it up here! I had the Thai rice bowl because they were out of the super spicy one, but it was great with good heat. 3. Soup bar 4. Kid's menu 5. Can save 4% if you pay with cash. 6. Large portions That extra star for a few reasons: - Like Peter said in another review, basmati rice would've made it even better. - Vegan soup options - Not being out of the Calcutta curry--I really wanted that one. My husband ordered the chicken shawarma pita and it was solid. Twister fries were good, but not worth the upcharge.

We stopped here for lunch on our way home from Crested Butte. There were a decent amount of people there around lunchtime on a Sunday and we were very impressed with the service and system as it appeared there were only two guys manning the food, register, serving and bar. We ordered the OG and the Thai bowl. Both were super tasty and good portions. The half rice bowl was enough for two meals and will be leftovers.

Glad this spot is here - quick service and yummy food! You order at the register and they give you a number for you while you wait or you can grab a table and eat there. Seating available inside and outside. They also have a small bar you can sit at too! Lots of options on the menu - I went with the OG and some fries but will be back soon to try the po boy and some bowls!

Stopped here based in the reviews and it was a great choice. We ordered the lamb giros with a side if sweet potato fries and onion rings. The food was so good i forgot to take pictures :-) Audrey met us at the door with a smile and tons of energy. Great service even when I messed up the transaction. She took care of us and everyone in the place with a smile. Plenty of parking but I bet it does get crowded. Highly recommend! It was too early for me to have a drink but I did get a picture of the drink menu. Margaritas are supposed to be great!

15$ (with tax and tip) hummus "pita"

If they were being honest this place would be called Frozen Flatbreads in Paradise. Pitas by their nature contain the ingredients they hold. A frozen flatbread taco, which is what you will get here, acts like a taco. As you eat the fillings push out the back a bit as you eat. Only it's not a taco, it's a big unwieldy piece of flatbread, and handles accordingly. Initially I was planning to get the Gyro, but the gyro meat here is also bought frozen so I opted for the hummus, which is house made and pretty decent. The vibe is cool, with a nice outdoor patio and a couple CO beers on tap, and steady local traffic. Not a terrible experience by any means , but for my money, if you're identifying as a Pita joint, maybe take the trouble to source actual Pitas of good quality.

We stopped in, the place was packed, the ambience was great, and the food was just wonderful. My wife is an extremely picky eater. For parking you can either park next-door at a closedown store or try and find street parking for Tuesday with the World Cup being on it was a little busy and the weather was so they had the sliding doors open and you could either choose to sit inside or outside on the patio. Since it was a nice light breezy 90° day most people chose to sit outside, so all the patio tables were taken. We were told we could sit anywhere and they brought us a menu as soon as we seated. Are we just walked away and brought us back two glasses and a big craft of water. She gave us a few minutes to look over the menu which I do appreciate. But when she came back, asked if we had any questions I asked her how big the kids tiny burger was she said it's like the size of a slider and it came with nothing on it, but you could add whatever you wanted. I ended up going with the tiny burger off of the kids menu adding mayonnaise, lettuce, onion, and the bacon marmalade. My coworker ordered the same and a shredding tots. Food came out in a respectable amount of time. It was hot and fresh. You can see right into the kitchen as it is an old food trailer that they have set up as the cooking area, which was really cool. The waitress was bringing out food for other patrons. We noticed the size of the burgers and we were glad that we got the tiny ones. first bite of the burger was absolutely fabulous. It was juicy just enough pink and the flavors with the bacon marmalade out of this world. I did try one of my coworkers shredding. They were fabulous also with just a hint of blue cheese mixed in with the potato. Definitely a must try and will be going back the next time. I am in town.

Service was less than desirable. Forgetful, slow, maybe training, maybe lack of care. Food was just OK. We got the cheese curds which were over cooked, more than a good ratio were lacking cheese and was just breading. I had the prime rib and that was good, Rosemary crusted and fair serving size, Loaded baked potato and the house Mac'N'Cheese, all tasted good. The better half got the soup of the day, which was not the soup of the day (see comments about server), ended up with a potato soup that the server failed to mention had seafood. Non issue for us but we do have a child with seafood allergies SMH. 2 bites in and BAM; Salmon... The Chicken Fried steak lacked Flavor as did the gravy and the mashed potatoes. We had to ask for silverware and napkins multiple times, dessert was OK, Coffee showed up after we ate it... Carrot cake and a chocolate chip cookie with ice cream, both run of the mill and not special. Bottom line: tourist prices for just OK food and service.

Everyone was very well pleased with the way the steaks were cooked, the presentation was nice, and the service was absolutely great by a gal named "Max" (which we figured was short for Maxine). Max absolutely loves her job, and it was obvious! She took great care of us! We were treated like long, lost friends, although it was my very first time in the restaurant. I strongly recommend checking this place out in Gunnison, the prices are quite fair for the type of food and the ambience.
