I have been to every pizza place in town. The only one other than this place that is good enough to spend my money at is bel paese. I get the Sicilian pie with salami and pepperoni. It's oh my god good. Along with anything here. Got the Italian sub, the eggplant parm grinder and al biaco cheesesteak which were out of this world also. Tried a couple of pizza's from here because of the very favorable reviews on Yelp, and I have to agree, they make a very good pizza here. We tried their Pizza Al Bacio as well as the White Bruschetta pizza. Both were very good, but now I want to try a few different ones, as well. Glad we found them, as they are in an odd location that has very little traffic going by. But it's definitely worth the trip to get their pizza, and they are worth the extra cost (a 5 topping pizza here is $18 for a large, which is going to be higher than Little Caesars or even Pizza Hut). But their ingredients are fresh & flavorful, and the pizzas were delicious. We will be back to try some different ones. read more

Do not waste your time or money! I ordered delivery on Thursday evening. The entire order was completely wrong. I called back immediately to get it fixed or to receive a refund. The girl on the phone refused to fix the order that night. I was told that I would get a call from the owner on Friday regarding a refund. I never got a phone call. Now it is Tuesday, so I called to see what was going on with my refund. The owner was very rude and made me feel like I was the one that made the mistake. He told me to stop in and he will take care of it. Ended up giving me a $15 refund while he screamed in my face and told me I was wrong. (The order was for $50) The food tastes frozen and not fresh at all. The dough is like cardboard. Never ordering from this disrespectful business again. read more

Good pizza, decent wings and subs. Friendly staff and the price is decent as well. Also, the location I go to is a convenient five minute walk from where I live. Update 7-15-2018 - Good still is decent, but chicken wing prices has skyrocketed to between $1 to 1.25 a wing. I realize chicken prices are up somewhat, but this jump in price is a bit much. Overall, food is still decent and there is that convenient five minute trip as well, so they still keep my four star with a * because of the price for the wings. read more

Today was the 2nd time we ordered delivery from them. 1st time took almost an hour for them to deliver. Pizza was ok. We ordered again today. They told us it would take "about an hour." I called after 1:20 and they said the delivery person would be there promptly, and it was delivered w/5 minutes (we're about 4-5 minutes from the restaurant), 2 pizzas, 1 salad. All was ok, but one pizza (White Bruscetta) had 2 toppings missing. We won't be ordering delivery again. read more

Pizza is good but could improve their customer service. I just received their flyer in the mail which had coupons in it. We decided to give them a try. I decided to go afterwork and thought I had the coupon in the car, however I did not. You would think that a business would rather give a customer a break and earn a better reputation as being customer friendly instead they told me that in order to get credit for the coupon they needed the actual coupon. So, I was forced to drive the 8 mile round trip in order to get my five dollars off. I definitely contemplated not going back to get the food but I took the high road and went back for it. This could be the best pizza place in York! I love their pizza. my husband & kids have had their subs (both hot & cold) & have really enjoyed them. I'm not a big fan of their french fries but the rest of my family loves them. If I'm eating Pizza in York, this is the place to go! & it's right around the corner! This is the Al Bacio we go to. Ordered an appetizer, sub and a pizza. They arrived quickly but when we opened the pizza it wasn't what we ordered. No big deal, mistakes happen. But then we got a call about 10 minutes later asking if we ate the pizza. Uh, no. So they came back and got that pizza and delivered it to some poor suckers that probably had no idea their cold pizza spent about 15 minutes in our house. And we still didn't have our pizza. We got a pizza about 15 minutes later and it was cold. So I wonder who had our pizza? The sub and fried mushrooms weren't that good so I won't order from them again. read more

I am furious right now! Just tried to place a phone order for delivery from Pizza Al Bacio on Ryan Run in York. We order from there all the time. Usually, I just do online ordering: however I had a Local Flavor gift certificate so I decided to call in. The items I was ordering should have totaled $37. When the person taking the order gave me my total they quoted $54!!! When I questioned the pricing (I had their online website menu open in front of me) I was told that 24 wings were $20 (not the 16.25 shown online) the 12 wings would be $13 not $9. I asked to speak to "someone" who i am pretty sure is the owner. He was an arrogant asshole, claimed he wanted my business but refused to honor the online prices, and swore at me!!! When i questioned the Stromboli price (because the amounts still didn't add up) I was told it would be $10.50 not $9.25 shown online - plus $2.50 for chicken (not $1.25 online) plus $2 more for sauce on the side (when it actually comes free with the Stromboli) He argued with me, talked over me, told me it wasn't his fault the website didn't reflect the printed menu price, and told me not to order if I didn't like it. Trust me if I didn't have the Local Flavor certificate I would have told him to kiss off. I will NEVER AGAIN order from them. They tried to rip me off for almost $20. I encourage you to share this and spend your money elsewhere. I hope this post puts that idiot out of business. read more

I've enjoyed several of their pizzas, both thin crust and sicilian. Always baked to perfection, which isn't always the case with sicilian at other places. Very good quality ingredients. Location is their biggest challenge, but it's well worth finding this place. read more

I can't give any place a decent review that can't get a simple request right. A real Phiily cheesesteak does NOT come with tomato sauce so I asked for theirs without sauce...guess what I got!!
