We ordered dinner from Pizza Classics at the suggestion of our hotel's concierge after missing room service hours by half an hour. We ordered a special calzone, pepperoni rolls, meatball sub, and Greek salad. Our order exceeded our expectations. Our hotel doesn't allow delivery drivers to deliver to the room, and the driver was very kind and gracious about it, especially since he had to wait for us to get to the lobby to meet him. The food was delicious and hot. The calzone is huge...definitely a portion big enough for two to three people. The pepperoni rolls are huge. One person could make a meal out of that appetizer alone. Customer service is horrible. These young girls need people skills. It's a given I was going to have to wait a while due to it being busy but when everyone who ordered and sat down after you gets served before you, isn't right. Then when I questioned one rude young girl, she said it was going to take 40-45 min, which I'm okay with but seeing the other customers who came after you get served isn't right and then for her to not even come back to let me know anything. Then when 15 min later I go ask to have my order looked at another rude girl says they are going by order number which can't be correct if all these people came after I ordered. It's always good, but this one was cooked to perfection. The cheese and toppings were hot but not too hot that they fall off. The crust was crispy and good. Pair those with the cheese bread sitcks and you have a match made in heaven. When it comes to pizza, I'm a crust girl. The dough on these pizzas is soft and not tough or dry. The cheese bread sticks are essentially dough and cheese with pizza sauce to dip. Who doesn't love cheese and bread mixed together? Pizza Classics is open until 2:30 am (last order should be placed at 2). So it's perfect after a night on the St. Mary's strip. One time, it was super packed and we ordered slices. Not my fave. Initially went to Big Lou's to see what the hype was all about since we are from out of town and saw it on Food Network. Was told it was an hour wait to get seat d and an hour wait to get our pizza. Didn't think it was worth the wait so we looked on YELP to find another pizza place close by. Pizza Classics popped up and decided to give it a try. Glad we did because this place is a lil gem with a mom & pop feel. Staff was extremely nice and attentive. Good came out hot and fresh. The taste of the pizza was good, not over sauces and the dough had a hint of sweetness which compliments the saltiness of the toppings. We discovered Pizza Classics by accident less than a year ago, and were excited to find out about the buy one get one free pizza pick-up deal. Things can get tricky when one person in the couple is vegetarian and the other is well...not. Thank you pizza classics for helping us avoid the struggle of which kind of pizza should we get, because now we just get two! Of course the deal wouldn't matter if the pizza wasn't really solid. In general, I would not call myself a pizza lover. It's really hard for me to swoon over some pizza, because I think most places just don't do it right. Despite being busy they quoted us 20 minutes on the phone and sure enough it was waiting for us when we walked in 20 minutes later. That being said we got two medium pizzas and an entire box (same size as medium pizza boxes) of breadsticks with marinara sauce for only 15 bucks. At first glance the pizzas looked small for being mediums but they were actually very filling and we only finished one. The pizza tasted perfectly fine but wasn't as great leftover.
