Until tonight, Pizza Classics has been my favorite local pizza place. Previously, I have had nothing but good experiences. [I had just voted it my favorite Local Pizza place on the Nextdoor website. BUT TONIGHT I HAVE HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. 1) I placed a telephone order for Take-out to take advantage of their 2 for 1 sale on take-out pizzas. 2) I ordered 2 medium pizzas with pepperoni, Canadian bacon and mushrooms. 3) I had to repeat my order twice as well as my address, zip code and credit card number. 1st disappointment: I was told it would take between 40 -60 minutes to prepare. I have never had to wait more than 20 minutes before. 2nd disappointment: A delivery man arrived at my home with only 1 pizza (not the 2 I needed in case my grandchildren showed up without dinner -- which they did). 3rd disappointment: The 1 pizza had only 2 of the 3 ingredients I ordered (Canadian bacon and mushrooms). 4th disappointment: I had to accept the 1 pizza and no offer to remedy my complaint was given. 5th disappointment: The pizza was cold. 6th disappointment: The pizza crust was vey soggy instead of the usual wonderfully firm dry crust. 7th disappointment: The order was entered incorrect including my zip code. (I don't know how they got the charge cleared with the wrong zip code.) The quality of customer service gets and "F". The quality of food gets a "D". (The flavor was good and the toppings fresh.) All in all a most disappointing experience. I hope they improve in the future. I will go back on the strength of my earlier good experiences, but another disappointing time, and I will never go back. I ordered 2 medium pizzas last night and never again. I have 1000 things going on which is why I prepaid for my pizza over the phone and I live in a building where the front desk person downstairs manages all incoming food deliveries. Was incredibly annoyed when I got done walking the dog and tending to my newborn son that our delivery driver refused to give the pizza I pre-paid for to the front desk guy who would have brought the pizza right up to me... instead, this genius delivery person thought it was a much better idea to sit in his car and then return to the restaurant with my food (again, that was already pre-paid for over the phone).... By the time I realized this and by the time he brought our food to us (for the second time) our food was cold and gross and both me and my husband were sick from eating it. My hubby and I were wanting pizza. We decided to try Pizza Classics. I've had it bookmarked for a while, but it is a bit of a drive for us. I'm glad we finally made the effort. Right when we walked in it smelled good. They had a lot of items we wanted to try, but we finally decided on pizza and wings. For the pizza, we got pepperoni. We split the wings, spicy with lemon pepper for me and sweet chili for my husband. The pizza had a nice crust. Not thick and not too thin. A nice crispy edge. The sauce was good as well. The wings were SPICY! But delicious. My husband liked his as well he said they had a nice kick at the end. We will definitely be coming back! read more

Above average pizza establishment.. Their Greek salad was excellent and the large is enough for 3 people. We got a classic pepperoni and a meat pizza (sausage, meatballs and pepperoni) with onions and black olives. They were nicely cooked and the crust was perfect. The biggest downfall was the lack of sauce or a totally bland sauce. Their meatball sub suffered the same fate. Their BOGO on all takeout pizzas make it a great choice for large groups, outings or large families. There are better pizza places in town, but if you need to feed a herd they're hard to beat! read more

Due to the 4 star reviews, I decided to try their pizza. I called in for two pies-- BBQ chicken and Margarita. 1. Before arriving, the pizzeria called to verify the type of cheese that I wanted. I had told them fresh mozzarella slices, but I guess I wasn't clear. I arrived early and waited for a bit longer since the cashier stated that they had to remake the Margarita pie. 2. I DON'T APPRECIATE THE LACK OF RESPECT AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE After waiting for a while, the cashier noticed my presence and yelled out to the kitchen regarding the pizzas. A guy walked out with two boxes and said nothing to me with a grumpy face. I'm not sure what I had done. 3. MEDIOCRE PIZZA The Margarita didn't have fresh basil leaves, so to be sure, I went back in and asked the cashier if they put basil leaves on the pizza. She stated that they do and pointed to the dried herbs. So, I responded that I thought they'd use fresh basil leaves. Furthermore, the pizza was burnt when I had requested them to be lightly cooked. 4. I DON'T APPRECIATE DISHONESTY. She responded that well, they do, but they buy the basil leaves and chop them up. That isn't true because the basil was evidently dried from a container. I left, and ultimately, I wouldn't bring my business here again. read more

this place is great. the food is consistently good and the menu has unique items ( like Mac and cheese calzones!) and since I am lazy or always running late i often get it delivered to work -and it's always on time or shorter than estimated delivery time.( and I have to order extra cause my coworkers dig in!) if you pick it up yourself though, you get a second pizza free- how cool is that. the pasta dishes are huge, and everything we've ordered is super yummy. 13 stars on a 5 star rating scale. the only thing that could make it better is to add eggplant to the menu- mmmm- eggplant parm. No more breading or any of the things that made them so sought after. When I called they said what do you want me to do about it???? I ended up going back over for a refund.
