Life is full of pasta-bilities! Let's sauce things up. A home where Italy meet a sports bar. Is the Ambience. But the food portion is amore-zing. A regular slice of pizza feeds two people easily. Ciao down on that. The service was good even got a little bit of a history lesson about the establishment. Pasta La vista baby.

Just dined in here for the first time and man oh man this place only gets better!! When picking up I always notice the inside is pretty packed and the food always looks so great so we decided let's go eat there. We decided to skip pizza and take advantage of the chicken parm deal and a rigatoni dish and these were incredible. The portion of the chicken parm was insane we packed it up to go home with us. The cutlet was juicy, crispy, covered in cheese and sauce, the spaghetti was perfect with a nice tasty meat sauce. The salad to start was also perfect I must add. The sausage and rigatoni dish my wife got was great she had the garlic red sauce and it had such a good kick! The staff is so friendly and the happy hour was great. I really can't believe the daily deals this place puts out it is such a gem!!

This is another neighborhood, Jim I absolutely love and adore. The nightly specials are amazing. Something for everyone. Always super tasty. Their giant pizza by the slice is like getting a small pizza. I enjoy every bite of it! It's small and cozy, but always inviting. The team is always friendly and helpful when I come in the door to pick up my order.

I cannot believe how delicious the pizzas are. I'm not even a pizza fan but we came here with the group, I tried the giant slice vegetarian pizza and my friends pepperoni giant Slice Pizza. I love how the toppings was extremely generous and the pizza crust was crispy and not too thick and doughy like most Pizza places. I was barely able to finish a third of my giant Slice Pizza which was double the size of my hand. The value for the money was incredible. The food was extremely fresh and made to order. Highly recommend trying this place if you are having a pizza craving. You will be very happy.

All you can eat Lasagna with a side of spaghetti, (salad and garlic bread not shown)

Outstanding value and comfort food at its best. I ordered the Sunday special lasagna for $14.50, which came with a side of spaghetti, a dinner salad, and garlic bread, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The lasagna was rich, hearty, and clearly homemade, the spaghetti was perfectly cooked with great sauce, the salad was fresh, and the garlic bread was warm and flavorful. What really stood out was the portion size. This meal easily lasted me three meals, which is almost unheard of at this price point. Quality, quantity, and value all hit the mark. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend this Sunday special to anyone looking for a satisfying Italian meal.

Chicken Parm with Penne- diablo sauce.

Solid little spot- mom and pop Italian place with the red and white checkered tables--super cute! We sat in a small booth and it felt cozy, kind of date night vibes, but also a place you could easily bring the kids. Pretty mixed crowd, very chill environment. We got the chicken parm with penne and asked for the spicy diablo sauce instead of marinara--definitely a good choice since we like a little kick. Big portions, everything tasted fresh, and the chicken was nice and crispy under all that sauce and cheese. The garlic toast and salad were simple but good, and the meatballs were actually really solid. Came out to about $44 with tax and tip, which felt more than fair for how much food we got. Nothing fancy, just really good, comforting Italian food and a spot that feels easy to come back to.

    Best salad!

Food was great Service was great Drinks were great Atmosphere was great. This place is always great. Food always hits the spot. Our server CJ was awesome as well. She definitely provided great service. We will come back again... We always do!

Hello Pizza D'Oro! I've returned many times and enjoy the pizza here. Below I'll list some of my most recent orders & their rating. Will return again, love their thin crust! Unknown date: Ordered a thin crust large pizza with pepperoni, half jalapeño, half pineapple - delicious. 6/30 - Large thin crust pizza with pepperoni, onion, half jalapeño & sausage, half pineapple 5/5 - Deep fried mozzarella (small ball of mozz, wrapped in pizza dough, fried) 1/5. Glad I tried it but would never get it again. 2 Meatballs in Sauce 1/5 8/23 - ordered a thin crust again, delicious :)

Ordered med pizza pepperoni and sausage it was ok this time a little much cheese mushed up quickly! Dough was good. But worse value added the Parmesan chicken strip app thought it was different but for $11.75 basically a thin chicken breast cut in 6 slices same as the chicken parm dinner, this app should be $5.00 at most. Next time will just get the whole dinner with the salad, pasta and bread for $14.50

I finally got to try this place after so many years of people telling me how great this place is. My order was the Chicken Diablo Pasta and it was one of the best Spicy Pastas I've ever had, and it had this spicy sauce with a really good kick to it, and the Noddles were soft, and had awesome flavor to the sauce which is a perfect balance. And I love that they have Deals every day of the week, so that you can get something really good every day. And the Garlic Bread was the best, I've ever had in my entire life it was so good you have to get it. I highly recommend this place to everyone if you want to get some of the best Italian Food you need to try this place out.

It was such a thoughtful touch, and my son loved it. The restaurant itself has a traditional, old-school Italian family restaurant feel. It's not fancy, but the food completely exceeded our expectations. We ordered the Margherita pizza, calzone, and Caprese salad, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. What impressed me the most was the service. Every staff member we met was genuinely warm and friendly. While I was taking photos of the restaurant, several staff members smiled, waved, and happily interacted with us. Those little moments made us feel so welcome. The value here is incredible. Great food, generous portions, reasonable prices, and excellent service. It's also a wonderful place for families. They have a kids' menu, and after dinner my son got to pick a toy from their treasure box. We were even given warm chocolate chip cookies to take home after we paid. This was one of the best meals we had in Newport Beach, and we're already planning to visit another Mama D's location. Highly recommended!

We called ahead of time to let the restaurant know of the party number change and the hostess noted it. When we arrived at the hostess stand, both hostesses did not acknowledge or greet us. When they finally acknowledged us (they were gossiping the entire time), they were rude, short, and bothered. They told us to wait a minute while they set up the table; the hostess came back and asked if it was 5. We told her we called and changed to 3 and she did not know what we were talking about. Therefore they did not have a table ready for us inside and stuck us outside. We complied and accepted the outdoor table. Next, the worker who was bringing out the food was extremely rude. We were working on our first appetizer and she said "are you done with that or not?" We put the last of it on our plates and said she could take it. She rolled her eyes at us and grabbed the plate. While grabbing it, her arms rubbed my wine glass and where I sip from. She looked at me, made a bothered face, and walked away. I have never been to a restaurant with such rude service. We also had an unfortunate circumstance while dining and one of our party members needed to go to the Urgent Care. She was having extreme chest pain and shortness of breath. We asked the staff to bring to go boxes and the check due to this emergency. They moved very slowly and did not give a care in the world despite our urgency. We will not be dining here again. I hope they train their staff on manners, service, and hospitality. The two stars are for the apps we were able to try: artichoke and eggplant. Our actual server also decent but still lacked a sense of urgency. It is obviously not the staffs fault that we were in that situation, but they treated us like they couldn't wait to get us out to serve the next table.

The extraordinary thing about the Pasta Sisters is that they offer house made pastas, which guarantees a higher price point, but offers unparalleled texture. The spaghetti has a "bite" that you get from a true "al dente" pasta. Their cheese tortellini were incredibly rich and cheesy, but a touch salty. The drawback of this location is that it's a ghost kitchen. You order it online and the order will be ready for you when you come in to pick it up. The location does not have seating, and you eat it at your own convenience. If you live/work locally, then this can be definitely worth checking out. Because I live out of town, I have to enjoy it either in my car, after a long drive home, or at my wife's office; however, I want to enjoy these $20 pastas in a restaurant, with wine and good company. A ghost kitchen is very different than a restaurant experience. I hope they do choose to bring their restaurant to the OC one day.

I've passed by it so many times, but it never really caught my eye sitting there off Newport Boulevard, so I'm glad I checked out someplace new that kept getting recommended over and over. I ended up getting the small Italian hoagie and a cheese calzone with their Sunday sauce. The Italian sub was stacked too. Pepper ham, salami, capicola, mortadella, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, sweet peppers, hot peppers, pickles, oil and vinegar all packed into a soft Italian roll. Every bite had a different flavor going on from the salty meats to the sharp provolone and the crunch from the lettuce and peppers. The oil and vinegar tied everything together perfectly and gave it that classic deli sandwich taste. Even the small size was filling. The cheese calzone was huge and baked perfectly. The outside had that crispy golden brown crust with little charred spots all over it and a nice crunch when you cut into it. Inside was parmesan, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese all melted together and super cheesy without feeling too heavy. Then you dip it into the Sunday sauce and that's what takes it over the top. Their Sunday sauce is tomato based but infused with the drippings from their homemade beef and pork meatballs so it has a deeper richer flavor than regular marinara. You can definitely taste the difference. Really glad I finally stopped here because now I totally get why so many people were talking about it. Definitely a place I'll be coming back
