Came to the area waiting for our dog to get groomed. Where they're located there's a coffee shop, record store, and pizza on the same block. Can't go wrong killing time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was Sunday lunch with a stream of people coming in to pick up orders and small groups coming in to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a Caesar salad to split (and they split it for us in separate bowls) and a few pieces of pizza. Exactly as the name describes. It was, well, delicious. You order at the front counter and take your assigned number - your food will then be delivered to you. The interior is sparse but warm and the patio is charming. Given that New Orleans whether makes it patio season almost all the time, that is where I'd choose to sit. My husband and I got several slices to share and had them out on the back patio where we were greeted by a very curious rooster. The pepperoni and vodka slices were the standouts. The best surprise though was a seasonal special - an orzo, cucumber, and feta salad that had a bunch of fresh herbs and other veggies inside. The bright lemony vinaigrette made the entire thing pop. It was tasty enough that we're planning to try to recreate it at home next summer. We also got an order of garlic knots. For $4.50 you get an insane amount of food - and that's enough to return for anyday! read more

My neighbors have been telling me about PD for a while. Finally a friend and I stopped by for some good pizza. Her how it went: Pizza: 4*.....good thin crust pizza that was a little tougher than I'd like. I woke up the next day and the roof of my mouth was ravaged from chewing. The flavors were good and it wasn't greasy. Drinks 2*.....we both tried a little can of booze that was terrible. It was heavy in bitters and cost $9! Beyond that Paradise park was fine. Pricing 1*.....it was $26 for a large pizza. That was higher than I wanted to pay but hey, it's the Bywater. However, they charge a 12% gratuity without notifying us. We added a large tip, as usual. Oh wow!!! Best pizza I've had in NOLA... thin and crispy. The pie is HUGE! You can taste how high quality the cheese and sausage is. I love that you can customize each half of the pizza with a different flavor. I can't speak to service and ambiance because I had it delivered. I love a good salad and I know quality, so when I see a place that is not a salad specialty restaurant and they still take their salad dishes seriously I just love that. This place used to have a Greek salad that was amazing but they change the menu around periodically I was told, so I had to get their Caesar salad. They put small shreds of red onion, fresh Parmesan, House made croutons and House made Caesar over Romain lettuce that is perfect. That salad is $11.50 but it's worth every penny because it's a big portion. Now to the pizza, I tried a new kind, which is their Italian special, just a slice, and it was great. Perfect temperature not too hot not too cold. Sally's, Frank Pepe's and Modern were my favorites. A unique coal fired smokey char that's totally unique. I read many good reviews about Pizza Delicious, and could not get past the first couple of bites. It was so greasy, the flavor was ridiculously too spicy, it had too much flop, and an uneven undercarriage. It did have decent crust, but it's not any kind of good. It did have a lot of pepperoni, but it wasn't enjoyable to eat. At thirty bucks delivered it's mediocre, and I couldn't get past the first slice. This past Saturday I had to host a party for my work and a colleague suggested Pizza Delicious for the food. The ordering process was a tad bit on the rude side but I was already into the process or I would have gone with G's Pizza who have great service. Once I arrived at the store, the service was very good and the woman who helped me was very thoughtful. She made sure I had some paper plates to go for my event. The store itself looks small but the inside is spacious with a lot of room to sit and eat a pie. The pizza's themselves were pretty good. I ordered: 1 cheese 1 pepperoni 1 meat combo 1 homemade meatball 1 custom pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and caramelized onion The pizza that most stood out to me was the pepperoni. In fact I went there on the very first day of their business as I saw the flyers on telephone poles advertising it. I cannot tell you how many people that I recommended Pizza Delicious in the Bywater. Anyway, the pizzas have gotten exponentially more expensive and the quality is not the same. Cheese pizzas were 12 bucks. Margherita was 15 dollars and the specialty pizza was 18. Check the prices now! They're in a storefront now and I understood their price increase. But they increased prices a little too much. 20 bucks now for a cheese pizza! I am willing to pay the extra money if the pizza is good. But they are very inconsistent and my order today was not good. I used to get a caesar salad as well but the caesar salad is now too expensive and I will not pay that price for what you get. I ordered their delivery service and pizza arrived cold and overcooked. Not the first time I have had a burnt pizza bottom from them. This never happened in the community kitchen. Their pizzas are way too expensive now to have this happen on a regular basis. I do not recommend them anymore and not sure when I will go back. Just very disappointed in them. Pizza Delicious you have lost a loyal customer because of your inconsistency.
