I ordered the Super Due Pizza through Yelp DoorDash and even got a promo discount from DD. I picked it up and it was ready. The person gave it to me and asked me if I wanted extra peppers and cheese and she gave it to me. Really nice person. They have parklet tables if you cared to eat there. As far as the pizza, it was just okay. Pizza was a bit soggy but crust was crunchy so I had to eat it with a fork and knife. I prefer crunchy crust. Hence my rating. We have a limited number of meals in this great city so you'd figure that pizza would be a waste. But it's been so long and you know how it is when someone yells out "pizza" when deciding what to eat. It's also going to be interesting frequenting a pasta shop with two women from Pakistan. We knew they were vegetarians, no problem as Pizza Due has just about as many veggie combos as meat. Many pasta dishes, too. We were supposed to split a Baconato pizza, but Mrs. E. ended up eating the large veggie pie with her buddies. Traitor! I didn't give her any of my Penne Rosa. Which was a terrific compliment to my pizza. Pro Tip: If you're ever invited to meet here and you're not a big pizza fan, come anyway. Their salads are huge and taste great. The Arugula salad has sliced pears and walnuts. Easily their best. We were fortunate enough to eat here twice (we actually ate our pasta and pie at a nearby park). We order vegan pizza's here: Vegan cheese and sometimes the vegan sausage, though we usually just get veggies. The people are nice, service is fast. It's off the beaten just a little, so a pleasant place to wait. The indoor seating is more like a fast food joint, not a family restaurant, but they do have parklet seating outside. The pizza itself could do with a little more sauce and vegan cheese, and they could venture closer to the edge of the crust with it all. Overall, an ordinary pizza. But it is nice to have a vegan pizza nearby and the large is quite large, which is, as they say, a quality of its own. read more

I hate to downgrade a restaurant's review because of the delivery, but I was so disgusted by it. All of my instructions ALWAYS say "hand deliver", and you can walk right up to my front door from the sidewalk. The doorbell works but so does knocking. Instead, the delivery person put my warm pizza on the cold marble stoop and left. It was there 5-10 minutes before I even realized it was there. Then I guess I am supposed to put a pizza box that has been sitting on the filthy ground outside my door, where my neighbors and their dogs walk, onto my kitchen counter to serve myself? It was so inconsiderate and so unnecessary, and directly against my instructions/request. Got some good pizza in the Mission District. It pretty much is for carryout only. Pizza Due is one of the more authentic tasting pizza places. Has a lot of choices to put on including non dairy cheese. The prices are okay for the high quality. A few pizza options to choose from. It's the usual toppings like pepperoni. There's a few things for vegans. One of these is the cheese. The Due Your Own is the make your own pizza. It's about $13 and then add vegan cheese for a few more bucks. This was stretchy like the real cheese and tasted real enough to be honest. Carryout is the only option to get. It's too small inside for chairs and tables. No nonsense pizza shop serving great food with friendly service Picked up some pizzas here for my Girlfriend as she was overseeing her Students at a conference. We ordered 3 Large pizzas with one topping each. Pizzas were prepared very promptly (within 20 minutes) and were available for pick up. The pizza portions were huge - slices tasted really good too. They were super accommodating and even provided all the perks of full table service. FOOD Hit the spot! We shared the Super Due and a Caesar Salad. Both solid: I loved the tomato sauce and the croutons had nice herbs on them. I'm a sauce fanatic, so I'll probably order a side for dipping pizza crust next time. We got a medium pizza, which is 6 slices, but that was plenty and lots of left overs. The slices are very large and the toppings are plentiful. Probably the closet thing to east coast pizza I've had in SF. I thought the sauce needed a bit more flavor--maybe more oregano? I ordered a 10' inch Meat Lovers pizza for takeout which is shown on the picture on this review. The pizza dough was firm enough so that when I grabbed a slice, it wasn't floppy and the toppings didn't fall off. And they were plenty generous with the sausage, pepperoni, salami, and bacon. The pizza was $19.99 but worth the price and easily big enough to split between 2 people. I was even offered water while I waited for my pizza. read more

We ordered from Pizza Due's website and had a good experience. Tasty pizza, fairly prompt delivery, and a user-friendly online ordering experience. We ordered one medium Green Goddess pizza and one Super Due Pizza. Both were fresh and flavorful, and the crusts were great. We ordered through the website (rather than on Yelp via Grubhub) to maximize the revenue the restaurant received. The website was easy to use, and allowed us to customize our pizza, which was nice. (Being able to customize each half would have been even better!). The pizza came within the promised delivery timeframe, the delivery was contactless and felt safe. The only downside was the pizza was no longer hot when it arrived and had to be warmed up. We are glad to have found this place, and look forward to ordering from them again! read more

Since Pizza Due was new and in the neighborhood I decided to try them out. Unfortunately the slices were all a bit soggy as the crust couldn't support the toppings so I had to use a fork and the ingredients didn't taste that great either which was a super bummer.
