I used to love coming to Pizza Factory as a kid and growing up around the area. It seems like their prices went up, and with it, the quality went down. $20 for a medium pizza with minimal toppings can be expected when ordering a pizza from here. With prices like this, it's hard to justify buying anything. The one thing I love and have always loved about this place though, is the service. Staff is very friendly and accommodating on all levels here. I can't say enough good things about the staff, I wish I could say the same about their pizza. read more

We stopped by on our way back from Lake Tahoe I called in my order for pick up and was amazed with the customer service over the phone, it was a female I spoke to, when we got there our pizza was almost ready we immediately started eating and wow was it good ingredients tasted very fresh but not only was the pizza amazing, customer service was stellar, It was very nice to talk to the owner as well. Pizza Factory in Loomis, Ca makes the very best pizza around! I drive 15 miles one way just to get their pizza! They have the most delicious pizza sauce and are very generous with their toppings, and crust to die for! Take a look at the photo I've uploaded -- yumm! The photo is of their Vegetarian pizza (without the mushrooms) that I just got today. I also love their location in old town Loomis. Such a cute town away from busy, crazy Sacramento city. I read some people mention about the out dated decor. Don't let that stop you from coming! You will get the most delicious pizza! Besides, this is old town Loomis. UPDATED: I was a kid when I wrote that first review. I've been around pizza factory for about 8 years now, we used to bring it home all the time. This is probably one of my favorite pizza's, not because of how it comes, but by how well it stays good in the fridge/freezer when you order too much. I purchased the groupon they had going on. Quite the deal - Large two topping pizza, wings, twists and two salad bars for $18. Seriously, it was a sh!tload of food. We are a family of 3 and we took home about 7 slices of leftover pizza. I was full before the pizza came out. Did that stop me from having a couple slices? Heck no. Get your fat on! All of the food was fine, nothing horrible and nothing great. Would I go back? Probably not without a groupon again. But it was cool none the less. We had a Groupon worrh $40 so we ordered a med. pizza, 2 salad a and 2 fountain drinks. It was $38 and had to buy $40 2irth so cook recommended buying a liter of coke. He charged us $5.70! Expensive lunch. Sakad was "of". Pizza was tadty but watching the ckerk who was alone at the kitchen, never once washed his hands. He took money, kneaded dough, what through kitchen door and cut pizzas. Never once washed his hands! Money is filthy and there is so many other surfaces that are far from clean!!! Very disappointed! My son had his birthday party at a local gymnastics center and we wanted to serve pizza to the guests. My wife called in two days before the party and placed our order for 3xl pizzas. They assured her the order would be ready for pickup at 5:15. She called again the day of the party about 3:15. Again, she was assured the pizza would be ready. My sons and I arrived at 5:15 and paid $88 for the pizzas. We were told they would be right up. We waited for over 35 minutes watching pizza after pizza go out to other customers. When I asked what was going on, I was told "they'll be right up" again. None of the staff was apologetic after I told them about my son's birthday party which ended at 6:00. as we walked out, one of the boys making the pizzas laughed and sarcastically said, "Have a nice day". I'm a fan of a simple menu sometimes due to the fact that I have such a hard time narrowing down my order. I always want everything. Pizza Factory has the basics as well as a few speciality items they hit the spot. The "greasy spoon" pizza is for that person that loves meat meat meat!!! It is yummy but too much meat for me. My cohorts devoured it however. I was all about the vegetarian and the tomato basil (I'm not a vegetarian by the way). Now you should try their wings and their breadstix! BOMB!! I do want to come back (ok... I've been here like 5 times) and try a sub and calzone (and the pasta). It's just so hard BC I'm always craving pizza. lol Now here is the kicker... This is the standard by which I judge all other pizza. The only place I've found that gets even close (and believe me, I've looked) is Idaho's Stoplight Pizza. When the only place that competes with Pizza Factory is a place that makes my eyes roll back in my head in delicious-induced bliss, you know you've found a good spot. Pizza Factory is a tiny bit pricy on its own, but if you take advantage of the plentiful sales, deals, and coupons they offer, you can get mounds of delicious food for pretty cheap. (My personal favorite? On Thursdays their calzones are on sale - a large one for the price of a small. Get pepperoni and extra cheese. Try it and your life will never be the same.) In addition to their pizza and calzone, I also recommend their breadsticks: they're doughy tangles of cheesy, buttery goodness. I also love how involved the owners here are with the community. I have fond memories from high school of Homecoming projects and Yearbook work nights supplied by Pizza Factory. The boss and the staff are very approachable and trying to serve customers in their best. We ordered a n 49er lx pizza and 24 bbq flavor wings. We went to Pizza Factory last night and I really really enjoyed it. I like family owned business like this but when it comes right down to it, the pizza was just really really good. The crust was terrific and I loved the sauce and cheese as well. Me and my girlfriend got a pepperoni and vegetable half and half pizza and it was some of the best pizza I've had in recent memory. The place could use an HD tv and could be spruced up a bit, it would be nice if the chairs were more comfortable as the ones we sat in were made out of this cheap flimsy plastic. Overall though when it comes to the really important stuff, the food quality and the service, it was very good! read more

We've been going there for years. I always love the pizza, even though it's not the most consistent. Almost always, the crust is nicely crispy on the bottom, but once in a while it's on the soggy side. No matter, it's still very good. The staff are always wonderful! One funny thing happened a few weeks ago. I ordered pepperoni and Canadian bacon. The young guy taking the order wrote "P" and "C" and circled the C. OK. Well, the pizza was taking quite a while to come out, and when it did..... They brought out a pepperoni pizza smothered in Cashews! In my wildest dreams! But it was actually a very funny moment. Of course, they re-made the pizza we ordered quickly, and it was delicious. Here's the thing though.....they actually went to some effort to get cashews to put on the pizza! We usually go to Round Table, but always go to Pizza Factory for a change every couple weeks. And about the decor...aside from the patio chairs, the photos and such are all very local. Well there was not a - ZERO to select!!! My family went there yesterday spent fourty bucks. I knew something was up when the lettuce was brown in salad bar. No, I knew something was up cause the place was empty!!! To boot there was nothing but bread sticks and three slices of worn out pizza on the " All you can eat buffet, sun tanning under the heat lamp at 12 : 20 with no one in the place"" So, we waited and waited and waited, finally I asked the lady " Are you going to make pizza?. She said "yes". WE waited......ONE PEPPORNI PIZZA came out. NOW IM PISSED!!!! Mean time another family comes in.. and were still waiting for some other pizza to hit the buffet. ARE YOU KIDDING LADY!! Took my wife here, first time, got the $40 Groupon, the lady behind the counter was very nice and pleasant, as were the other folks. We ordered an extra large combo pizza(half greasy spoon half 49er), two salad bars, breadstix and water. The salad bar was missing lettuce, had a few tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, radishes and not much else. When I asked about getting more lettuce, I got attitude from the young girl, but she got more lettuce, but filled nothing else. The bread sticks were good, the pizza would have been better if it hadn't been burned in the middle of the bottom of the pie. It was black and tasted burned, ruining the rest of the pizza for us. The pizza doesn't do well as leftovers. Overall this family owned business lost new customers. Even with the Groupon, it was still expensive and not a good experience for us. The customer service here is beyond reproach! They made an error in our order and had to remake our pizza. I had purchased a Groupon and it was my first time with this place. I sent my daughter and son in law to pick it up. There was a bit of a concern that they didn't have the proof that my Groupon was cashed but we figured out how to send that to my daughter's phone. Next, the pizza...wrong one!!! But they more than took care of us and made us a larger one than we asked for as well.
