Pizza Factory fails, I've given them a pass numerous times, but I have officially given up on them! One would think with the prices they charge that they could get things right?!?? We walked in tonight and they had No Menus, how can you not have any menus? Next I ordered a sandwich and asked for no tomatoes and I wanted Mayo, not mustard.... We like pizza...being from Chicago we like a good pie. We were hoping for the rather high cost this would be worthy of the price tag. And we were let down completely. The thin crust was soggy and floppy not crispy. Couldn't tell you what the sauce tastes like as there was hardly any on the whole thing. Same with the cheese. I went for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. $11.00 buffet special for the holiday. When I told the cashier that it was my first time he threw in two drinks which was really nice! My friend and I went to get pizza and salad 2 times, and there were no potato wedges neither time, so the person working there brought some to our table. Good food and awesome staff. Friendly kind service by hardworking staff each time I ago there. I like the lunch specials because they are a good deal. There is an enclosed lounge, and also more open areas with tables. If I ask, they will bring my order into the lounge and serve me there. They never come back, which is fine, since I am in the lounge working online with my MacBook Pro and my own personal WiFi hotspot. (Hopefully Beansters, in the same building, will get their WiFi back soon.) So after I eat and hang out for a while I return my plates to the order counter myself. They always give me a cup to fill and refill with ice and water at the drink machine. Nice bathroom. Big place. Not many people there, usually, but it is open for indoor dining. There are also tables and chairs outdoors under shade of palm trees and canvas roof. Lots of parking. I didn't give Pizza Factory five stars because I have gotten mini pizzas there that are sometimes a little dry--. Not much sauce and perhaps a little overdone in the oven. We had a large group, 19 of us, passing through Ridgecrest last night 6/6/21, and we stopped for pizza. The pizza, breadsticks, and antipasto salad were delicious, but that wasn't what impressed me the most; it was the staff. I have never seen such an awesome team of young people working together at a restaurant. I interacted with at least four of them, and every one of them was polite, helpful, personable, funny, and knowledgeable. I hate to say that I have been many places where the staff of young people don't care what the customer needs and do as little as they possibly can. During the lunch buffet there's also soup, breadsticks, and a salad bar. I like how the pizzas are small so you're able to try all the flavors before you get extremely full. The flavors of the pizza tasted pretty good but each slice of pizza came with its own pool of grease and the crust was kind of chewy. After our big move across the country, we asked our landlord where we could grab some good pizza and recommended PF. So instead of unpacking, we came straight to PF and ordered the Burroughs pizza-x-large and got a free order of breadsticks (thanks, yelp!). Our cashier seemed to be unaware of the yelp check in offer, but asked someone in the back, who ok'd it. We also noticed a few signs posted about the return on honey butter and decided to try it out with the breadsticks. We were a little iffy about it, but we all fell in love at the first bite. The breadsticks were just the right amount of crunch on the outside and unbelievably soft and warm on the inside. The honey butter was definitely the icing on top! Our pizza was also delicious! I am a huge fan of thin pizza and even a bigger fan when the toppings cover ever inch, minus the crust. The ingredients tasted so fresh and not greasy. We will definitely be coming back! Also, the cashier-Carl was an awesome help! The restaurant itself is pretty big and has a lot to offer. There are a few big screen tv's and an arcade room for the little kids. If you don't feel like eating inside the restaurant, they also have a small patio. I have been to the Pizza Factory in Lone Pine several times and consistantly thought it was one of the best pizzas I have had so I was presently surprised to see the one in Ridgecrest open, especially since it was owned by the same person that owns the one in Lone Pine. I visited the China Lake Naval Base to do work and me and my wife stayed in a local hotel there and it was only my 2nd time in the area since 2015. We ordered from here and the food was FANTASTIC! Came here on a Thursday night when Karl is working and it's a service you won't forget. Karl goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed and offers you the best deal you can't refuse. We ordered 2 orders of breadsticks and 2 large pizzas and I swear the pizza came out before we could even finish the breadsticks. When we sat down to eat, Karl offered us assistance and all we had to say was his name and he would be here. I eat pizza factory very often and can say that the service is AMAZING!! The staff call me by my name (well close enough to my actual name haha) and are always super friendly! I always feel like I'm their only customer. I can't say enough about how amazing their customer service is. I always get big salads to go. Before Covid, I could make them myself so I got to eat my salad exactly how I like it with the perfect quantities of every topping. In my opinion, they have pretty decent pricing considering the quality and quantity of food we get. I will keep going back and am so grateful we have a pizza factory in Ridgecrest. Been going here for a long time, and the have had minor issues. Usually order is a few minutes late or they forget a sauce. But today I ordered 2 pizzas and some sides on the app. I even showed up a little after the "pickup time" the app gave me. Well they were confused because I took sausage off and added Italian sausage on a pizza. Apparently they only have 1 type of sausage and didn't put any on. So after 5 or 6 people asking me if I had been helped in the 35+ mins I was waiting, then that person wouldn't come back, I got my order. All they did was warm up a little bowl of sausage to add to my order, they didn't even put it on the pizza! Then an employee who has been there for many years (I have been there many many times), brings me my food. No apology, at all! He said "we got busy, you have been coming a long time. You get it". You would think as a long time customer, I shouldn't have to "get it". Unacceptable, I will never go here again. It's really bad, and unbelievable that they haven't fixed the problem. I usually really like the pizza factory but the last time I tried to call and order it took 15 mins because the person on the phone didn't know what they were doing. They were having side conversation and giving me such a hard time about paying with a card over the phone. I gave them my card number twice and they kept saying they were pressing wrong buttons and didn't know how to do it. I could hear the manager in the back being rude to the employee taking my order instead of stepping up and helping him. I finally said I would pay cash and they said they didn't know how to do that over the phone either. They also wanted me to show my coupon when it's on there website. It was seriously such a joke.
