Amazing remodel ! Very nice furniture and decor. Lots of early Twain Harte memorabilia. Very clean and comfortable. Service was excellent. And now for the Pizzas , perfect ! The Pizza Factory has been recently remodeled. More tables were added and the bathrooms updated. The only con with the remodel is there are no longer arcade games. I have been here several times over the past few years and have never had an issues with the food or service. We've only ordered pizza and drinks so I can't comment on the other menu items. I was a little worried because this is the only pizza place in twain Harte. I have to say that this is some of the best pizza I have ever had, my GF and I got 2 mini pizzas, which actually come out to be more pizza than ordering a medium. I was very happy with the amount of toppings that were on the pizza, they are very generous, the crust was great and the size was excellent. I have to say that they are the only option in Twain Harte, but with there great quality, this town only needs one pizza place..!! EXCELLENT! read more

Ordered from here after long day at Pinecrest because it was the only place open in town. Ordered a small sausage pizza. When I arrived to pick it up, they handed me the Factory Special pizza, which included every ingredient under the sun...except sausage ironically. When you have an everything pizza, you have a nothing pizza. I didn't want to wait another 15-20 minutes for them to fix it with tired kids in the car, so I took it. Soggy mess. Super fresh home made pizza!!! Makes little ceasar like plastic crap and puts other chains to shame. I have had worse, but the pizza factory did to me tonight the one thing I will not tolerate from a business. I waited for close to an hour, to watch similar orders go out to people who haven't been there waiting as long. (not to go orders) When I received my order, the pizza had no sauce on it and my bread never came. When I asked the manager about it, he offered my money back but at that point my evening was shot. I wish people had more respect for their customers dollar and time. I had been going here weekly with my family, as my daughter loves the games. Waited 90 minutes for a pizza tonight... and by the time it came it wasn't the best tasting. Bread sticks were bland but soft, and our pizza toppings fell of easily and wasn't the best tasting. We have a large group of Summer camp volunteers that like to enjoy a final lunch together at the end of our program from Camp Jack Hazard. Pizza without beer? What the.....??? Yet they have beer signs all over place! Cash only. That's another warning sign. Half the tables inside had dirty plates, pizza trays and napkins. Wow. I love reading the lone bad reviews. They are due to unrealisitc people, who will complian everywhere they go. To the idiot who decided to give this place 1 star because they gave them the bowl they asked for, and charged them $1...ARE YOU KIDDING ME? These people don't have to cater your canine companion. Yet they did. They even gave you a bowl that costs them money and then they passed that cost along to you, which is a good business practice. Do you really have that big of an entitlement complex that because you dropped $50 there once, that they should give you free stuff? You are a jackass. I have spent thousands of dollars here over the years, and I would never exepct them to give me a free plastic container for my dog (who is not a customer and would never have purchase power). My question to you is why do you feel they are responsible for providing your dog a drinking apparatus when it is your responsiblity to feed and water your animal. I know that when I take my Dog's out, I am sure to bring extra water, and a appartus to hold it for them. I do so because I am a responsible owner, and it is my reponsibility to feed and water my animal. In the old days, you would pay the livery to feed and water your horse while you were in town. So them charing you $1 is indeed excellent customer service, and you are an irresponsible moron. Now onto my review: Service: 5/5 Stars: The service here is always with a smile. They go out of their way to make sure I have everything i need. They are qucik for service, and there is a relolving door of young people being trained in excellent service by the ownership here. Appearance/Cleanliness: 3/5 stars: It is time for the bathrooms to be remodeled. This is why I am taking two stars away. I hate to be harsh here but they do smell, look dirty, etc. Even though they are clean, they are just outdated. its time to spend $5k for a fix. The TV's are big and HD. The dough is always fresh. You get to watch them make the pizza in front of you. The ingredients are always fresh. Fresh veggies, Mushrooms, and meats of the highest quality. The company who provides all of the fresh products is called Saladino's. Saladino's is known for only providing ingredients for restaurants of the highest quality. My favorite pizza is mushroom and sausage deep dish pizza. My guilty pleasure when I take the kids up to The Gables Inn for a weekend. The pizza has a nice crunch to it, and the pizza firm on the top where is needs to be, and it melts in your mouth with the heat of the cheese. I love piling on the hot peppers and parmesean too. This is not a new york, and not a chicago. This is a true California pizza, with high quality everything. Appetizers: 4.5/5 Stars: Their garlic cheese bread is divine. The garlix seems to melt in your mouht with the mozarella cheese and butter. The soft taste along with the crunchy outer area make for an true pallet pleaser. Their wings need to be improved. It is very easy to bake chicken in the pizza oven and offer great sauces like teriyaki, and better hot sauces/ or BBQ sauces than what is offered. Salad Bar: 4/5 stars: Here is an area that definitely needs improvement. The salad is a costco bag of salad that I am never impressed with, and it seems to always be almost empty with and all that is left is wilted greens. I would get some spinach or some fresh romaine and cut it daily with carrots and radishes...Inexpensive and quick! Round table seems to have gotten the salad bar right and its replictable in every location, maybe they need to take this to heart and invest in a salad chiling bar system to keep the greens fresh? Anyways, the condiments are decent, and the hardbioled eggs always seem fresh. The dressings are of high quality, and I always find myself wanting a second salad...becuase the kids ate all of mine. LOL. So it is not a total loss, little improvements here can take it up to 5/5 stars. Speciality Salads: 5/5 stars: The specialty salads here are awesome. The antipesto is delightful and light. The Ceasar ( I had hem add chicken) was also very good. I was very satisfied with them when I just wanted salad while everyone else ate pizza again. For those who are on a veggie kick, this kept me very full, but felt very light to me. Greek salad has a dressing that is delightful and makes me want more. Pasta/Calzones/Sandwiches: Not Reviewed: I have been coming to this and many other Pizza Factory locations for years, and I have never gotten past wanting pizza or salad or a quick appetizer to order pasta or an Entree. Visited The Pizza Factory in Twain Harte on a Monday night. We thought the place was closed because all the window signs were off. We were surprised when we walked in and found more than half of the chairs/benches were turned up on the tables already. When we asked if they were closing the teenager said "well, it's been a slow day." This was a little annoying because it was 7:45. It was obvious we were interrupting their early closing opportunity, and they would prefer we not be there. So we walked out...and I'm not going back. Found this place on Yelp. We were camping in Pinecrest and wanted to watch the All Star game and have Pizza. Our usual go to spot Mia's ended up being closed on Tuesday's! So we came here. Looked like they had a lot of people working but saw a lot of dirty tables. One television, wish it was bigger. Bathroom was dirty and only one stall out of the two worked. Salad bar needed to be refilled and looked like it could of been picked up a bit around it. I will say the Pesto and Sundried tomato pizza was really good. Little on the pricey side too. read more

The cardboard that this pizza was boxed in had a softer texture than the pizza. It actually brought me pain to chew and to swallow. It is extremely over priced. Not a whole lot of choices for restaurants in the area and most look pretty scary. Much of what we saw that served food were doing so out of old dilapidated buildings. Pizza Factory is located towards the end of a small strip mall type location in Twain Harte. They were busy, the place looked clean, and the "to go" pizza was ready within 15 minutes. We took it back to the mountain house and put it on top of the wood stove to heat it up a bit and crisp up the crust. Wish I had ordered a large rather than the medium. That was a pretty good pizza.
