I actually usually have had pretty good experiences with Pizza Guys and I really like their pizza. However the other day I placed an order online for delivery. It said it could take up to 45 minutes which I was cool with. After 90 minutes I still didn't receive my pizza so I called. They said they only had two delivery drivers but my pizza was on its way. It arrived 2 hours after placing my order and was warm. Like it had been made 2 hours ago and been sitting and waiting to be delivered. I wish they would've called me or notified me to let me know how long the delivery time was going to be cause I would've cancelled or picked it up myself. read more

Ordered an XL all meats pizza and garlic toast for our group of 4. We were staying at a hotel in Napa and this was one of only 2 delivery options we found online for pizza. Placed our order and was told it would be about 55 minutes until delivery. An hour and a half later I called to find out the status. No one seemed to know anything about our order. I was put on hold for several minutes, then a different person picks up the call and I have to explain all over again why I am calling. Finally they said "oh yeah, it's out for delivery". When it finally did arrive, it seemed dried out or over-baked and the size was that of a typical Large pizza not an XL. The garlic toast was good however. If allowed I'd give them zero stars! I ordered a dinner for my family and after waiting for over an hour they cancelled my order AND had already charged my bank account. I now have no dinner and have to wait up to 7 days to get a refund. I wouldn't be so upset had they not made us wait over an hour for nothing! read more

I received a Pizza Guys flyer on my door and thought I would give it a shot... Nevermind with trying them! Pizza Guys is disgusting. And to top it off, the cashier couldn't count. When I got home, I realized that the receipt didn't reflect what I paid and when I did the calculations, my change was off by $1. I've driven by Pizza Guys in the past. But walking up to it, I noticed their window signs look like faded Chinese food menu pictures. About $26 for 2 medium pizzas and 2 garlic breads. Sounds like a deal but tastes like junk. A bottle of hot sauce or a ton of ranch is needed! The pizza took extra chewing than normal. And the ingredients seemed to be cheap (smell the pizza; you'll understand what I'm referring to). Oh, (haha) and a free t-shirt... they will hesitantly give you one when you ask. A free soda, ice cream or shirt with a $12 or more purchase. Sadly, the ice cream is the tiny personal size. Well this was disappointing! The only reason this place is getting an additional star (two total) is because they chose to honor deliveries well into the night when we were there. We were in Napa for Bottlerock and we got back to our hotel late and hungry. The only delivery food in the area seemed to be Pizza Guys. A solid 3.5 stars, how bad can the pizza be? We ordered a couple medium sized pizza right before they closed. I started the call making sure it was ok with the restaurant for them to make and deliver these even though they were closing within five minutes, around 11pm if memory serves. They said it'd be fine and that our order should be delivered within the hour. The pizzas arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes later, delivered by a poor guy who said he was probably going to end up working until 2am. We had almost abandoned the idea that we'd be eating pizza, it was close to 1am at this point! The real problem was that the pizzas we got were 1 star pizzas... After waiting for that long, hungry, spending the whole day in the sun, you'd think you'd eat anything right? Well, that wasn't the case. Rarely do I stop eating pizza because I think it's subpar... Victor has always taken very good care of me. My order is always correct and exactly the way I like it. My family and I order pizza from them at least twice a week. Placed an order of about $65 worth of food and was waiting for it to be delivered. Yelp showed the various stages of progress moving along so I had no reason to suspect anything was wrong. This place is pretty good for a cheaper pizza place, but....the staff is very unfriendly and not very helpful at all! I had two large pizza boxes, a box of hot wings in one hand and a 2 liter in the other and i had to pull the door, instead of pushing like other doors, and I was offered no help when I was obviously struggling to get the door open. We ordered delivery which took 1 1/2 hours and we were 5 min away... One of the worst pizzas ever had. The crust was soggy pizza barley warm we just ate a few of the toppings. ehhhhh. We were tired and sick of being productive so we decided to order pizza for delivery and wanted to try a new place. It took forever to be delivered - little over an hour. They forgot the pepperoni on bf's side of the pizza, there were no croutons for the green salad (good thing we always have croutons in the house, can't have a salad without croutons!), and the pizza and cheesy bacon bread were just okay, nothing spectactular. Ordered two extra large - one pepperoni & cheese, one with three meats and mushrooms. Driver clean and in uniform. Delivered on time, pizza hot. Overall we liked the pizza a lot. Little oil on the box but there was a lot of cheese and meat on the pizza. Good job guys - Pizza Guys. read more

This place has the crappiest service I have ever encountered at a pizza joint. We called in 2 pizzas 40 min before we arrived. We get there, the place is packed and the cashier looks all disheveled and overwhelmed. I could sympathize with that, fine. I paid and prepared to wait, despite having called ahead for pick up. While I'm standing there, I get a call from the same guy I'm watching prepare orders, and he tells me they ran out of chicken. Mind you, he just did the same exact thing to the guy seated next to me. I asked if they'd even begun making my second pizza, to which he admitted they hadn't. Over 40 min of waiting, for them to call and tell me while I'm standing there, that they ran out of food for my order. A significant portion of their menu items consists of chicken! When I asked for my money back, management explained that it would take too long to reimburse me at that moment and I would have to call corporate the next day. Ultimately, I ended up waiting over an hour for pizza I never got, and I'm out $40 unless I call corporate. I don't like writing these sorts of reviews, but this place was that bad. I happen to live a block away so in the convince category it scored high. I get coupons for the pizza all the time. The pizza is great especially with extra red sauce. As a great Admiral once said,"Its a trap!!!" If your like me and value quality, taste, and a good price, you might want to go elsewhere. After an hour my horrors were set to begin. It sounded like a decent deal, medium pizza, wings, and some sodas for $17 but after tax delivery and tip it came to $25. No biggie I thought, they are worth a shot being the newer pizza place in town, but I was to be sorely disappointed Apparently their idea of a medium pizza is the size of your average dinner plate, about 10-11 inches, not much to look at. But the smell of roasted garlic and liguica put my mind at ease, at least until I tasted the card board monstrosity. A dab of sauce does not a fine pizza make, previously frozen and bland garlic littered the smattering of cheese(i never knew it was possible to remove the flavor of garlic so completely), and the linguica resembled rubber in both texture and taste. Avoid this place, there are equally priced and infinitely superior pizza places just down the street. Ironically enough though the buffalo wings were surprisingly good. read more

When they first started in Napa, I figured Id given them a shot. I did the online ordering, as I hate talking on the phone, so I liked this about them. I got my pizza, nice and hot, and was actually pretty good. The second time I ordered from them a couple months later, we got our pizzas, and one was just straight cheese, which we didnt order, and we were missing the pepperoni. I called and was told that they couldnt understand the online order, so instead of calling me to verify my order, they just sent a cheese pizza. 45 min later, I had my pepperoni. Ok, still not learning my lesson, about a month later, I tried again. After 2 hrs, I called because we didn't have our pizza. I was told that they didnt know where my order was. I asked for my money to be refunded and I would go elsewhere seems it was now about 9pm. The girl told me that the manager had to do this and he would be there in the morning and would take care of it for me. I printed out my online receipt and said okay. The next day, nothing happened. After 4 days of phone calls trying to reach this manager, to no avail, I went down there, and of course, not there. I left my information and asked that he call me, of course he didnt. I went down there again, and was told by this manager that he would submit the information for the refund. Nope, still dont have it (this is now 3 months later). I have tried looking for information to contact their cooperate office myself, but cannot find any. I asked at the store for this, and was told no. So basically I'm out $24. And yes, I learned my lesson and will not order from them again unless its giving them cash at the door for my kids party for cheap pizza. read more
