Pizza Haven is THE BEST VEGAN PIZZA place!!! I ordered the sausage and pineapple pizza and veggie balls and.. wow. I am more than satisfied! What really blew me away though was the fact that Pizza Haven managed to bring me my order correctly despite the fact that they were BURGLARIZED on New Year's Day and all of their iPads were stolen! I originally ordered through Grub Hub and the app wasn't giving me order updates so I called the restaurant. Someone explained the issue to me, moved my order to the front of the line, and threw in a free salad - even made sure the my dressing was vegan!! It's unfortunate that some people get so upset and rude when their food order goes wrong. I understand that it's frustrating - I waited longer than I had planned to get my food after a very long day at work and I wasn't in the best mood. But I couldn't imagine being in the owner's position right now, trying to run a restaurant during a pandemic after all of their iPads (vital equipment for taking delivery and takeout orders) were stolen. Bottom line: Pizza Haven makes amazing vegan food and the service is great. The only thing I would say is call the restaurant directly if you want to place an order! Had lunch at the Pizza Heaven last week with my family (party of 7). Everything we ordered came out perfectly. The salad was well chilled and had good flavor. The pizza was hot and delicious. The chicken Alfredo with spinach lacked a lot of flavor was ok but we probably wouldn't order it again. A Yelp search turned me on to Pizza Heaven Bistro and I've been going there ever since. The staff is young, up beat and friendly but professional. Try finding that in a restaurant today. If you ask, "What is this made of?" they'll actually know what they're talking about and if they don't they'll ask. Here's an example, lots of batters contain dairy. THEY KNOW THAT! They not only make a vegan/dairy free pizza, but they have a whole vegan menu! And here's the kicker... IT ACTUALLY TASTES GREAT! I hate knowing I can make something that'll taste better for a fraction of the price. PHB's prices are reasonable considering the food is delicious. During the pandemic they've been delivering food to us at least once a week. They'll call of they're going to be a few minutes late and know us so well they'll ask, "Wait, last time you ordered you asked for something different, is this how you really want it?" Been ordering from them for over 20 years, but when they have been using a 3rd party delivery service. The pizza comes cold. As a result, the cheese is like rubber. Of course, I could microwave the pizza to warm it up, but now the crust is soft and like rubber from the microwave. I could place it in the oven, so it would dry out the pizza. At this point, I should have had leftovers, not a fresh pizza. I am ending a long relationship with Pizza Heaven. read more

I've been vegan on and off for years (and I slipped before mostly during those emotional seasons when all you want is pizza, pj's and a sob movie). So when I really decided to "not turn back" it was hard to find acceptable options for pizza and ice cream. I was at a game party and someone brought Pizza Heaven vegan pizza. It was so good... just like I remember (wanted) pizza to taste like: fresh chewy dough, perfect amount of sauce, toppings goodness in every bite and cheese that doesn't stick to the roof of your mouth as many vegan cheeses do. We came to have dinner yesterday and not sure if it is the pandemic that has impacted this establishment but the service was lacking. Food is fantastic as always but not sure the servers are a good fit for this mom and pop restaurant. There is about 11 tables and i saw a total of 3 servers. It took the servers about 10 minutes to greet us at our table. Once greeted we ordered our drinks and food. One of our family members ordered an unsweetened iced tea with lots of lime/lemon. The server brought one slice of lime to the table. My family member then requested more please. The server replied the following "well, i guess well have to cut some more" not sure if this was a smart answer but that is how our family took it. After waiting forever for drink refills, we also had to grab a different server to grab a to go box and our checks because our server for the table was nowhere to be found. We then paid our tab to the different server because he seemed a bit more engaged in the service to the customers. We personally know the owners and this experience was not up to standard. read more

I absolutely love this place! It's a great place to go if you have people with dietary restrictions. We ordered the vegan Margherita pizza, vegan Alfredo, vegan baked ziti, regular baked ziti, fried zucchini, and vegan angel bites. Everything was delicious. I'm all about the sauces and the vegan ranch, which I know is hard to come by, was a 10/10. The owner was in and let us know that their buffalo sauce, also amazing, is home made without lard! The food is good, but the service is always very slow. No matter if we dine in or pick up. Every time we order takeout we end up waiting for over 20/30 minutes after our confirmation said it would be ready. There's usually no apology either. What happened to this place? Ok so I'm lazy tonight, ordered wings to be delivered, I live not even a 1/2 mile away. This is the second time they've been over an hour to deliver. Great pizza, having a vegan option when I need it is super helpful. The toast app they use for delivery is bonkers, they give a very broad delivery time, but after you click order it says it's delayed due to a busy time, but then it ends up coming in sheer minutes anyway, the app never says it's on the way, then you get a notification after everybody is finished eating that the pizza is on the way. I LOVE this restaurant! They are one of only a handful of restaurants in the Phoenix area who serve good vegan pizza- and a variety of them, too. They have some other vegan dishes which I haven't tried, but the fact that they offer vegan ranch to accompany fries or pizzas is AWESOME! An issue came up recently, however, and I hope someone with the restaurant reads these reviews and takes it as constructive criticism and makes a change. I was leaving a movie with my family when we decided to order take out. I checked the menu on my phone so we could choose our order and noticed there weren't sizes, only 3 prices. We wanted two medium pizzas, so when I called in that's what I ordered. After I placed the order my BF wanted to verify we got the right size, so I called back and asked to confirm we got mediums and how big those were. I was told mediums are 12", larges are 14", and extra larges are 16". They don't carry a "small." The smallest size they offer is called a medium. Let that sink in. Had I not called back to check, my family would have been very disappointed. The person I spoke with over the phone offered no sympathy or explanation of why the middle of the three prices on their website (again, the menu they have available to view on their website gives three PRICES, not size names or measurements) is the SMALLEST PIZZA. I get wanting to have branded sizing but even at Starbucks if you ask for a small coffee they know you want the "tall". My recommendation- just call the smallest pizza you offer a "small," the middle size a "medium," and the largest a "large." Or call them 12", 14", 16" and know that if someone asks for a medium, they want a 14". Also, and this is important, put that information on your website, not just the prices. I love this place and I hate to criticize, but I doubt I'm the only one this has happened to. read more

I've been coming to Pizza Heaven for many years now. It was my go to when I wanted great Pizza and my local place wouldn't suffice. I live pretty far from this place it takes me about 40 minutes on a good day to get there. I would always get 1 regular Pizza for my husband and son and a Alfredo sauce one for me and my daughter, I don't really care for regular marinera sauce. I Always made the same order. However today I was told they no longer do Alfredo sauce because it inconveniences the Cooks who have the Alfredo sauce already portioned for the pasta plates. It was 7:30pm they close at 9. It was pretty empty so it's not like in the next hour every one is ordering Alfredo. Alfredo sauce is not hard to make so ‍. Which I have never really seen anyone order anyway. They have vegetarian, gluten free but not white sauce. The waitress didn't really care to accommodate or find a replacement for my pizza. Their regular pizza is not anything to travel for so this will be my last time here. Also they raised their prices by alot. Not a couple dollars which has been normal lately. Wings went from 18.5 to 26.5. Quite an increase. I like supporting local restaurants instead of chains so I didn't mind the travel but today I drove 40 minutes to eat a not so good ceaser salad because my pizza is no more. Really disappointing. I am looking for a place with great white sauce pizza if anyone knows a place. read more

Now that I moved here 12 years ago permanently, I still go to Pizza Heaven. Superb pizzas, excellent pasta dishes, big salads, love the chicken Parmesan. We came to try it out. Little corner spot. Looks are quite, very homie feeling. Pizza was really good. We ordered a vegan pizza with mushrooms. The second pizza was a margarita. Both pizza!s were good. Chicken parmesan has a different story. It came out beautiful as you see in the photos.... it has frozen little pieces on the inside. Maybe the cook was not feeling SUNDAY . Tonight was our first time dinning in at Pizza Heaven (usually we order takeout) and I'm kicking myself for not coming in sooner. Our server, Eros, was so amazing - attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. The owner Patty was also very friendly and made us feel very valued as customers. I seriously loved the staff here. My husband and I came with our two small children and everyone of us love their pizza. We got a regular pizza (pepperoni & mushroom) and all of us loved it. My picky three year old even exclaimed that it was "the best pizza ever". We also had the Italian salad which was equally as delicious. What a great find. Thank you yelp for the recommendation. Had a craving for meatball sandwiches and this place came up near us. Server greeted us and took our drink order immediately. The place is cute but a little dark in the spot we were seated. Shortly after ordering our salads arrived. Server was friendly and knowledgeable. We loved that the table was equipped with garlic salt, pepper flakes and cheese along with the usual salt and pepper. Definitely a family run place. I love a good mom and pop place, not a chain. We split a meatball and chicken parm sandwich between the two of us. We had a hard time deciding which was better. We decided to order a calzone to go. We will be back! read more

The best vegan pizzas in arizona, and probably better than any non-vegan pizzas too. Most pizza houses in AZ serve up a greasy mess covered in oil on thick chewy bread. Pizza heaven stand alongside the best we've tasted across america. We drive from way up north to visit pizza heaven and they're always worth the trip, the staff are always great, they never make a mistake on the order and they're always perfectly on time coming right out of the oven for the pickup.
