The bulk of my party ordered burgers; the Mayor's burger and brisket burger getting several nods apiece. Another ordered the Cajun pasta with crispy chicken (recommended by Salina) and he loved it. BLT was enjoyed throughly as well. I ordered the Blackened Cajun Chicken sandwich. Having filled up on mozz sticks and my fries (I hate cold fries) I could only finish half of it, but I was impressed. The chicken was seasoned good without overdoing it, and filled the entire French roll, which itself was very good too. The bread held up to the ingredients, including lettuce and tomato, which I usually avoid in case I don't finish like this visit. The potatoes were firm yet tender, and absorbed the lemon and oregano sauce and made for a perfect side dish. My husband was astounded at the generous portion of gyro meat on his pita, and said it was incredibly flavorful and the accompanying marinated red onions and tomatoes enhanced the meat well. He, too, praised the thick, creamy tzatziki sauce, but he ended up taking at least a third of his gyro home to enjoy tomorrow. All I ordered was two meals, nothing complicated. While I waited, I watched the entire drive-thru line get served and an entirely new rush come and go before I got my food. Let me be clear: this isn't the employees' fault. They're doing what they're told. The real problem is management and how this location is run. It's clearly a systemic issue when this happens every single visit. Other McDonald's--sometimes with longer lines and fewer workers--can get me the same order in under five minutes without all the chaos. The pull-ahead system here is broken. It's frustrating and honestly feels like they're just trying to make their numbers look better on paper while ignoring the actual customer experience. If I'm waiting 30 minutes for fast food, that's not fast food--it's a joke. Do better.
