Sometimes second chances needs to be given in life, and I'm glad I gave Pizza Man that second chance. I came back to try the cheesy bread sticks, like I said I wanted to. Immediately I could smell the garlic and cheesy goodness. They were excellent. Perfect amount of cheese. 5/5 I ordered the same pizza as before, the deluxe minus mushrooms and olives, because this was the redemption pizza that I wanted to be able to judge fairly. I talked with the pizza man himself about my previously soggy pizza, and the change we made was to not order it thin crust, because all the toppings and moisture made it hard for a thin crust to hold. The regular crust was crispy and thin enough, and the structure was back baby! 5/5 I also had the chance to sample the mozzarella sticks. The batter amount was perfect, the crisp and amount of cheese were great. They held together instead of falling apart when you pick them up. Nice cheese pull and the cheese didn't all fall out, leaving you with a batter cavern. Also 5/5 My only comment, and this is a personal preference, is that I wish the marina for dipping the cheesy bread and mozzarella sticks was thicker. Tad bit watery for me. Otherwise, my mind has been changed and Pizza Man is back in the rotation. Next on the list is the fried cheese ravioli. Customer service was great. I have to say... This New York pizza snob was surprised. Tried the pan pizza with sausage and the smallest size cheese pizza. For a chain and an around the way place I would say this pizza is pretty solid. Yes it's fast food type pizza, but I will take this over Domino's and Crappa John's any day. The hot buffalo wings were good but they weren't crispy and I'm wondering if that's because they were in the box for a bit. They do give you the option to have them more well done, maybe next time I will try that. Shared both pizzas with my coworker and we agreed the pan pizza might be the way to go. I ordered from Pizza Man via a food delivery service. I remember commercials from back-in-the-day of a chain called Pizza Man, but I did not think it was still around. I ordered a small Deluxe pizza (which is a good size for a small - definitely sharable if you're ordering other items or don't eat a ton); 18-pc Buffalo wings, which come with a large container of carrots OR celery sticks (there is an upcharge for carrots AND celery, which should not be and dip costs extra) and a dinner salad with ranch dressing (their ranch is yuck). My food arrived still hot, which is outstanding. Not only was it still hot, it was so fresh and delicious. The wings were so tender. I ate a flat and it literally fell off the bone. WingStop could NEVER!!! The wings were meaty as well, but not on steroids. The celery and carrots were also fresh and delicious. I refrigerated the pizza and dinner salad, which I ate some of later. The pizza was the best pizza I've had in a long time. I microwaved a slice, which was HUGE. (I would prefer them cutting the pizza into 6 slices vs. 4.) The green peppers on the pizza were crisp, despite the pizza being fully cooked. The dinner salad was simple: romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes sliced in half and sliced black olives. Simple, but fresh, crisp and delicious. I look forward to trying their other salads, particularly their Greek salad, as well as their fries. I also look forward to trying another flavor or 2 of wings. For an 18-piece, they should have offered 2 flavors, but Buffalo is good. Terrible. The garlic bread had completely raw dough inside each one, the pizza was mediocre (but at least edible) and the cesar salad was gross. I don't know how you can make Cesar salad disgusting. I don't understand how there are so many good reviews...I ate one of the garlic breads before I saw the raw dough so I really hope I don't get sick from this. If the prices seem super low for LA, there's a reason. Maybe going in person is better? We did delivery and wanted to try somewhere new. Lesson learned :( read more

This place has delicious pizza! We were visiting on vacation and ordered a couple of Jumbo pizzas and a small pan from the Westwood location. All were hot, fresh and completely delicious! The cheese they use is what we like to call "the good cheese" - it's stretchy & chewy (not the slimy, globby stuff). Sauce was tasty and just the right amount. We also ordered a garden salad with ranch dressing and it was great too- fresh dark green lettuce with, lots of tomatoes and olives. And the dressing was good- I was a tiny bit scared to get the ranch after I read one review that said their ranch wasn't that good but we thought it tasted great with the salad. 10 out of 10. We ordered a medium cheese, a medium pepperoni, cheesy garlic chips, and one of each of their house made sauces. It was all so good. Best pizza I've had in a long time.
