    CHEESE
    Chris D.

I was in the mood for a thin crust pizza so I ordered from Triple Beam again and it didn't disappoint. This time I ordered the half Cheese. This Roman style Pizza hits the spot. The crust is nice and thin and the cheese great. The sauce is not too sweet and overall a very solid choice. Will definitely order from here again.

Amazing pizza! We loved the pineapple prosciutto jalapeño pizza - perfect balance of the sweet and salty. Garlic knots are good too - my favorite part is the dipping tomato sauce! Must try seasonal lemonade. Service was fast and good to chill.

Solid pizza spot. The mushroom pizza stood out to me as the best one. It's a fast casual place. The apple crumble focaccia was a bit too sweet for me. Staffs were very helpful and service was super quick!

Acorn squash 'slice' minus crushed red pepper and crema. This was so good-

I was searching for potato pizza (the place I used to love was closed a long time ago) and I wasn't having much luck until I found Triple Beam. Locations are scattered across town; the one I ended up visiting was this one in Santa Monica (which isn't close but when you're in need...) Took advantage of the lunch special for $10 which consists of a 'slice' of pizza and drink. Their slices weren't traditional though; it's cut into three pieces so I still felt this was a good deal. I also tacked on a slice of acorn squash with honey since this looked interesting and I didn't know when I'd be out here again. I omitted 'crema' from both slices when ordering online, and kept the regular honey instead of the hot honey option for the acorn squash. Parking can be tricky in the area on Main St. but I found one right across the way and ran over. Girl behind the counter had a lot of bags so she confirmed my name and order, and I was ready to go. The watermelon lemonade was also in the bag (securely) and didn't come with a straw so you may have to ask (it had one of those sipping lids though). The potato slice was good; I finished off one of the slices in the ride back, along with one of the acorn ones. I actually enjoyed this cold later on, then reheated the remaining pieces the following day. This was Really Good. I think I almost preferred the acorn squash to the potato (there isn't any rosemary which seemed to make the potato pizza I loved before) due to the sweetness of the honey. I know 'real' pizza lovers will probably knock this place since they offer so many un-traditional styles, but give them a try, you may find something you really enjoy here- Upped to 5-stars since I returned a week later for another 'slice' of acorn squash...

Heirloom Tomato Pizza - whipped ricotta, Parmesan, sliced heirloom tomatoes, marinated cherry tomatoes, fresh basil pesto, Maldon salt.

On the basis of our "ladies who lunch"/cook club's president (she's a fixed organizer) and her raves on Triple Beam Pizza's seasonal Heirloom Tomato Roman-style Pizza she enjoyed in Echo Park, lunch it was via the Santa Monica location. * We're such Nancy Silverton fans from Osteria Mozza** to Mozza2Go***. Memberships' first bite anticipation high for Chef Nancy's Triple Beam Pizza endeavor! Hey, we don't always cook. Order called in for pick-up. Parking is a challenge (adjacent small lot). I wanted ride along/pick up privileges but was assigned table setting. I suspect a lack of trust was voiced that I would abandon restraint with a pizza purchased for group consumption in my lap. They know me. Our pick up strategy. Driver drop off of club member close to quoted pizza readiness time. Driver slowly circled block. Well timed pick up of both member and pie, YAY! Destination dine (At last. Thank you God). The slightly warm fragrant focaccia based seasonal Heirloom Tomato Roman-style Pizza (think a salad pizza) rested on the counter in the Chef Nancy adorned red and white oblong box. There appeared to be a moment of silence. Were they saying grace? Toe tapping, immediate gratification me, "GRACE already! Can we please just eat? I can't wait, I'm hangry!" The reveal. Lid slowly lifted. Creation within: whipped ricotta, Parmesan, sliced heirloom tomatoes, razor thin shaved garlic marinated cherry tomatoes, fresh basil pesto, Maldon salt, gently drizzled olive oil on all that atop a crisp focaccia crust, a sturdy vehicle for all it delivered. Totally in love with this pizza! Such a melding of flavor! Could have eaten it all; yup zero sharing. Same time next year? Absolutely! Plenty of options to fill in until then ****. As we don't allow phones at the table past initial food photo ops, our homework was to learn why this place is called Triple Beam Pizza (each slice is weighed prior to selling, priced accordingly) and what exactly is a triple beam scale ***** Eat something, learn something, right? * https://www.triplebeampizza.com/location/santa-monica/ ** https://www.yelp.com/biz/osteria-mozza-los-angeles *** https://www.yelp.com/biz/mozza2go-los-angeles-4 **** https://www.triplebeampizza.com/menu/ ***** https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triple_beam_balance

    gf/ vegan pizza

I hate writing reviews about this and especially about a place that handled this situation really well but the pizza was so bad I have to share. Went here recently to try their gluten-free/ vegan pizza. I ordered through DoorDash and went to pick it up. The place itself is super cute and the staff is super nice and helpful with any questions about allergies etc which is appreciated. The problem was the pizza itself. Now gluten-free and vegan pizza can be tricky but I have been eating this way for so long I have had manyyyy over the years so I know it's not impossible to make a really good one. The pizza looked and smelled good at first but when I took a couple bites I was really surprised at the taste/ texture being as dull as it was. There was virtually hardly any flavor and the cheese wasn't melted at all. It was separating from the crust/ dough in an odd way (like a board which you can see in the pictures). The crust itself had a cardboard like taste and the only "flavor" I got was the few pieces of tomato on the pizza. After couple slices I actually nauseous from the taste or who knows what. I am so disappointed and really wanted a new place locally to enjoy pizza I can eat. They handled the situation really well but I don't know If I will return. They generously gifted a gift card so maybe I will give it another shot to see if it was just that batch.

Tall kid at the front was really quick, friendly and helpful. The food is a 3 though. Pizza was ok, garlic knot wasn't good. This pizza is more of a flatbread. They serve side of sauce COLD... I just don't get that. Yeah I just don't get it, main st could use a goood ny pizza.

From the street it doesn't look like much, but when you get inside you see all the options for sauces, salads, pizzas and beverages. We were helped immediately and were surprised by the prices. The pepperoni is a tad spicy, but the pizza is really good. The sauce, which I am not a fan of pizza sauce, is good but sparing. The crust is not thick or thin but right in the middle. The cheese is tasty. I ordered a house made ranch and was really disappointed, but good news - I didn't need it! The vibe was easy, the food was good and the pricing was very reasonable. We will be returning with our grandkids in town.

Love the service, cool chalk board menu Seating area is moderate, and there's a couple of designated parking spots behind the Starbucks. Otherwise street parking only. Vegan pizza was worth a try, would come back

I can't say much for ambiance because we ordered a bunch of pizzas to get delivered to a birthday thing that we were at. But I will say the process of ordering and the delivery service was really straightforward and easy. The flavor combinations and creations here are well thought out and balanced. I'm a fan of every single one I've tried. It should be noted that I've been a fan of Nancy Silverton and her restaurants for a long time now. But just having a taste of the food in a more casual setting is pretty awesome in and of itself. We ordered the sausage and fennel, the roasted mushroom and shallot, the acorn squash, and the roasted spring corn ezquite. All very good in their own way. I actually had pizza from the Echo Park location and I remember thinking it was really great pizza back then as well. Just a great pizza spot for the area and ease of delivery and good for group ordering.

Amazing service from the front man and the pizza is so good. Garlic knots are also amazing, had to order 5.

They have metal tables and chairs with loud speakers blasting music that echoes throughout the space. Add in loud crowds and kids dropping utensils, and it makes the whole environment pretty unpleasant. As for the food, we ordered the garlic knots, a croissant, the hanger steak, the peach and hot honey pizza, and the wood-fired vanilla bean pound cake for dessert. We covered a good amount of their key items. The main takeaway is that while everything is cooked well, but the dishes really lack flavor. I dine out to get flavors that are not easily made at home, and unfortunately, I did not find them here. The food lacks depth, and frankly, it needs salt to make it stand out. The pizza dough is actually really well prepped, easily as good as Pizzeria Sei, which is the best pizza place in LA, period. But again, it just lacks flavor. Also, as a small side note, there is a 4% employee health insurance surcharge added to the final bill. I probably just missed it listed on the menu somewhere, but oh well. Overall, it is a decent place, but I would not go out of my way to come back here.

Not a 1-1 with the pasta you're familiar with, but still really good and worth ordering. * Diavola: Spicy and always my favorite. * Margherita: Classic and solid, always worth having. * Rigatoni with pink vodka sauce: Server's rec for most popular sauce, and it delivered. * Little gem salad: Super herbaceous and delicious. * Arancini: Skip it. Middling for the price point... put that money toward another pizza. Pizzas and pastas run $25-29. FYI there's a 3% Healthy LA fee on your bill. Payment is handled tableside on a touchpad (card, Apple Pay, etc.). Vibe is cute, service was helpful, and I'd definitely return to lean even harder into the pizza menu. I'm still salivating over the Caesar salad with white anchovies; don't be discouraged just because anchovies have a bad rap for being fishy. The white ones are vinegar-y and fresh and they use bread crumbs instead of croutons. I love the addition of the slightly bitter but crunchy radicchio. For the main, we shared the guanciale white pizza (no tomato sauce) and the crust is thin and bubbly like you would get in Naples. And for dessert, we chose the Basque-like cheesecake with sour cherry compote. Hubby and I don't drink alcohol anymore so there are three mocktail choices along with a zero-proof IPA that's very hoppy. I chose the hibiscus mocktail and it was perfectly icey, tart and fragrant. It has a cool, hip vibe inside that makes it perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, side salad, duck pappardelle, and the suppli al telefono. Everything was delicious, and every dish that came out of the kitchen looked just as good as what we ordered. One thing to note is that it's an alcohol-free establishment, but that was no issue for us because the mocktails were fantastic. Thoughtful, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the meal. The menu feels creative without being intimidating, and the whole experience left us wanting to come back and work our way through the rest of it. Definitely a spot worth checking out.

We had a gem Caesar salad (just ok, boring), the carbonara (just ok, pancetta? was chewy) and the bolognese (just ok, under seasoned). It was just ok! Service was weird but we also came right when shifts were changing cuz we saw our waitress walking down the street at one point. There she goes! Sat outside, such a cute area but as soon as you get your food here come the flies! Also, people talking loudly even tho it was not busy - inside would have been better, less busy, super open and so much seating. Saw 2 girls there who got ALL the breakfast foods and this is where I realized we went wrong. If you come here for lunch, I'd recommend the breakfast food - it looked FANTASTIC! Or maybe a pizza. The dinner food looks better from the pics!

The lettuce is so big u need to sit and chop it. I get that's the vibe but they also forgot to include UTENCILS ( I don't get how it's normal to forget utensils on a to go order) so I was legit eating giant lettuce in dipping sauce. 2. That little dressing thing is no way enough for the salad 3. My husband ended up buying more Parmesan cheese from super market , and I added it on because they honestly barely had any and it was just tiny flakes. 4. The croutons came very soggy... I feel like at the store. They're probably crunchy, but something about the process made it extremely soggy and soft I love Candace and I love their pizza but this salad to go needs to be improved !!!
