The pizza was GREAT. On their website they have all kinds of combinations and I think it's a good value for what you get. We tried the pepperoni, hawaiian (ham and pineapple) and the buffalo chicken pizza. Plenty of toppings and cheese and super fresh! I'd take it over a chain if they had decent wings. The wings were DISGUSTING! DO NOT order them. They were bland except for the spiciness and EXTREMELY salty. Their antipasta is good...run of the mill, but good. They chop up the stuff (pepperoni, cheese, etc.) unlike what it shows in the picture on the website. I first walked in and everyone working there was super, over the top nice, but not in that cheesy fake way. The pizza was pretty inexpensive and I was happily surprised with how good, fresh, and hot it was. Same price as Little Caesars (my previous staple), but tastes better and looks more individual than mass produced. Their extensive "specials" menu looks great and I can't wait to try it. Came here for my vday dinner. "Pick up" and i asked the guy how big the med was and that it was for two, the guy said its perfect for two for its size rather then the small so he was indeed right. The place is small but very welcoming all the workers look happy an id highly recommend this small lil pizza joint, service was great and i look forward to using it again sometime. Pizza pirates is simply the best pizza available in Pomona. They have all kinds of topping that aren't available at the chains, and are also much better quality. They have a very easy to use website to choose whatever toppings you desire on your pizza. The only complaint that I can think of is that they do take quite a long time to deliver. Been buying pizza from the Pirate for over 25 years both pickup and delivery and never had anything but good food and service. They also have an excellent antipasto salad. I love the amount of toppings to choose from!!! This place is amazing. I tried all the standard fair around (pizza hut, papa johns, and dominos) and found them lacking. I had a few times where the pizza came wrong, but they were quick to fix it and provide me with a replacement. Definitely will order from them any time I'm in the LA area again. read more

I just love love my Pizza Pirates! They are the best pizza place around. The cheese is always so good and the sauce is great the crust is perfect. They always deliver before time. They tell you 45 - 1hr but always deliver within 30-35 minutes. I cant say enough about how amazing the pizza is. I would say if you have never had Pizza Pirates YOU MUST TRY THEM ONE DAY. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would... I order a large pizza, wings, salad with a 2ltr soda. So Unprofessional!!! It should of taken 30 to 45 mins, it took 1 hr and 10 mins. It finally gets here and I hand him my card. The driver said it was cash order. I was never asked if it was going to be cash or card. So I had to call back from MY phone so the driver could talk to the pizza place. As he's talking to them he's telling them MY card number outside where people could MY PERSONAL INFORMATION. I get the phone back to let them know what just happen besides it being so UNPROFESSIONAL. I was able to get a $6 dollar discount and was charge. But that's not alll!!! After I hung up the phone the driver gave me my pizza and salad and then told me that he didn't see the soda on the receipt. (YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!!) And not to mention he didn't even say anything about my wings. He said he would be back in a couple of mins. WAIT!!!WHAT YOU SERIOUS. It wasn't even in the car. He had to go back to the Pirate Pizza to go get it. Mind you it has been NOW ITS GOING TO BE 2 HOURS WITH HALF MY ORDER HERE AND WE'RE ONLY A COUPLE OF BLOCKS AWAY!!! I have never had such terrible service as I have just had from this company. My fiancé and I called to order a pizza for the first time, excited to try. The guy on the phone said that the pizza would arrive in 45 mins to an hour. I let them know we were in an apartment complex and told them the apartment number. An hour later, no pizza. So I checked my phone. I found a missed call and a text, stating they came to no answer on the door, which did not happen, as my fiancé and I were home and our couch faces the front window and door and we had the window open. Called the number that texted ..no answer. So I called the store back and let them know what was going on, only to hear a woman yelling about how stupid we were and how hard could it be to answer a phone and ranting and raving. I asked to speak to the manager and the young man on the phone told me, to my alarm, that the woman yelling was in fact the manager!! He then asked our name for the order and stated an apartment number that was not ours! All the while, the manager was still raving and ranting in the background. Due to her found and extremely unprofessional attitude, we canceled our order and will never come back. That woman needs to be fired immediately! I am in management myself and I am shocked to know she helps run a business with her foul attitude. read more

I was told I had to pick it up instead of them having their driver, whose job I was lead to believe was a driving, could simply just continue driving back to my house; pizza pirates thinks that's not the case.
