I love WaBa Grill, but this specific location really needs to get its act together I placed an online order set for pickup at noon. I arrived right on time at 12:00 PM and ended up waiting around for 10 minutes before anyone even asked me what my order was. When I finally told them, I noticed they were only just starting to make it, and then the lady working told me they had accidentally given my original order to someone else. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the employee was actually very nice and polite when handling it. I usually really like WaBa, so I am hoping this was just an off day, but the organization definitely needs work. read more

Bibi G, needs to quit if she doesn't wanna work there, didn't really wanna take my order didn't help when my waba app code wasn't working and trying to make it seem like my fault for opening it to early but I literally did it seconds before she took my order. My friends and I were craving some chicken and came here. Service was quick with our chicken bowls. Plenty of tables and it wasn't too busy. For the chicken bowl, they had teriyaki sauce, green onions, and rice. The chicken was not too dry and the sauce helped with the flavor. The only thing was that there was a lottttt of rice in comparison to the amount of protein. Other than that, it's a filling meal. Go to a different location. Don't waste your time ordering here. Today I ordered online, my food was supposed to be ready at 2:27. I got here a few minutes early but as I immediately walked in there were 5 other people waiting. I wasn't even greeted/attended to until 15 minutes just standing, I even tried getting their attention and I was ignored. This place is just getting worse and worse for their service. The young male working that was wearing a big puffy jacket looked like he did not want to be there. He kept just walking around the back, taking his mask off tending the cash register then not washing his hands and handling food. I got my order at 2:56. This isn't the first time either. I love WaBa but this is Sad... Hope cooperate properly anyone who cares looks into this. With an update, some of my chicken didn't look edible, there were no carrots and the broccoli isn't even cooked. What do I even do at this point? read more

My fiancé and i visited this location two times in a row. Our first visit we were greeted by the cashier who promptly took our order, after paying our order took about five minutes to be served and ready. The employee did however forget to give us the dumplings with the order so we did have to walk back in after checking a bag in the car. The food was properly prepared and tasted well made. I ordered a steak bowl, and fiancé ordered the steak plate which was pretty much the same amount only with dry lettuce (no dressing provided) and orange slice. Just came from this Waba and it was a major disappointment when I got back to work. First off the cashier kept on telling me my gift card was expired and I'm trying to sincerely explain to her that gift cards don't expire when it's pre-purchased money on a card that I got 2 months ago. Plus I have to tell her I just checked the card and there is a $10 balance. She doesn't say a word and walks to the back to get someone to try and help and the cook was able to resolve it. You would think she would apologize about the confusion, but nope. Her attitude and expression was just super unfriendly and unwelcoming. Then I get back to work which is less than 5 minutes away and I realize my food is cold and the potstickers they gave me are all hard and chewy in a bad way like eating jerky. After sorting through them they looked like an old overcooked batch that they gave to me so they wouldn't have to throw. Being at work doesn't give me the luxury to just go back and get a new order so this was all very disappointing. read more

I've been going to this Waba grill since it opened and when it first launched the customer service and food was great. I eat here 1-2x per week and have continuously gotten bad customer service. I only come here because it's unfortunately the closest to me, when possible I avoid it. The young workers don't acknowledge you and look like they don't want to help you. Example:One time I came in and there was an employee listening to music the entire time he took my order and cooked my food without gloves might I add. They also turn off the phone line during lunch time and after 8:20pm to avoid taking orders. My boyfriend overheard an older employee telling a younger employee that he can't do that but they still continue to do so. Also, whenever you place an order over the phone they make you pay upfront now which I have no problem doing, however they start repeating your card numbers loud for all to hear. Lastly, the last few times I've come in they've been out of the Waba hot sauce. All In all, they need to work on their customer service. read more

First time here and it was good! I was craving salmon so I was glad to see that they offered it here. Sandra greeted me with a smile at the register, so that was a good start. She took my order and informed me that there would be a five-seven wait for it to cook, which I appreciated since it would've helped had I actually been in a rush. Before she left to cook the fish, I asked if it was alright to sit on the couch in front of the register since I know that it may confuse some workers sometimes. She said it was fine and even offered me a water cup, which earned major brownie points. Never have I experienced such great hospitality at any establishment. She definitely made it a good impression. I got the salmon bowl, which looked good at the pictures and it was decent! A little too hard to my liking but still very tasty. But what had me deduct a star was how small it was. For $8 a bowl I was expecting a bigger piece of fish and I was disappointed that the rice portion was so much more. In the end I had to eat the fish in smaller bites and more rice so I could enjoy the actual thing. Maybe I'll try the tofu bowl next time. It's a lot cheaper and I also do like tofu so hopefully that won't disappoint. read more

The dumplings had black char all over it so I went back for a replacement. As I was explaining to the cashier who seemed to be having a bad day, the cook walked up to me and asked "What?" in a threatening manner. I repeated myself and the cashier prepped the replacement batch from the cook, which looked exactly the same as the first order. She also didn't wash her hands before handling the food. I suggested the cook clean the grill first and he said that's how the dumplings are... I asked for an apology for the bad service and inedible dumplings and the cashier said she didn't owe me one because she didn't do anything wrong. This place is a 5 Star only when the lovely lady at the register is there. I do not know her name . She is very friendly and has great customer service . I believe she might have a slight accent and light colored eyes (that is the only description o have of her that comes to mind) Gradually they have reduced the protein in the bowls . I understand food cost and serving sizes but this does not compare to other locations that demonstrate consistent serving sizes . Today this was my bowl - just opened and I added some sauce . I moved it around to see if my eyes deceived me . Definitely this is not worth 8 dollars and some change . read more

If I'm about to give them a zero I would. Customer service is poor and bad. They make you feel like you have to rush your order. I called to see if they do phone order but the don't answer even if you have call when you are in the store they still don't want to pick up the phone. And we ask to put green onion on meal they don't put it. And we order avocado they like to say we didn't order but it show on the receipt and the mexican lady give you attitude. The employees all messing around laugh and making jokes and not working to make your order. Need better customer service.
