Of all the years I've been going to this Pizza Plus and the one on Oddie, I've never had an issue. Ever! Always loved the food & although the customer service isn't the best, it never bothered me. I pick up most of the time anyway. However, I came here recently on a Tuesday with some friends and there was only one other group of 3 eating there & a couple people picking up. We ordered a large pizza and a half platter. Our food took FOREVER to arrive. The other table received their food, ate it all, & had been gone for a good while before we had gotten ours. And when it did arrive, a lady brought our pizza & said our platter would be out in just minutes. A couple who arrived after us received their food & we were just about done with the pizza when I just decided to ask for a refund on the platter because we were ready to leave & it never came. The cashier apologized & it seemed sincere while the manager looked extremely annoyed that I asked for a refund. It did seem busy with pick up orders & the line was ringing off the hook, I just don't think it's acceptable to get other people their food before people who had already been waiting a long time & arrived first. The food isn't bad and they usually give you a really good deal. Unfortunately up until now I've had nothing but great things to say. I purchased the 1 large pizza with 10 large wings and fries, which I'm sure many people are familiar with. Although, Ben the manager, was trying to explain to me , in the form of a terrible analogy, that even though the website reads 10 large wings, it's actually supposed to say 1lb? Well considering that coupon has been up for a long time I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to honor what your company has stated on their website. Ben says, "When you buy a 10 ounce steak and they cook it, it isn't ten ounces." Well Ben if i bought 2 steaks and then when you cooked them, it miraculously turned into just 1 steak... I'm thinking if I was younger this place would appeal more to me... The dining area just feels dark and dirty. You order at a counter and bring the food back to your table. It's pizza; nothing special to me. Sorry to the others; maybe I went on a bad night... The salad bar is kinda silly looking; I can't think of anything to compare it to except the salsa bar at El Pollo Loco. (I did have some salad though; they gave us a 20 minute estimate on the pizza, and I was hungry.) I'll go back if friends are going, but I won't suggest it. read more

most of the time they do not answer the phone. I tried them a few weeks back and was told delivery to be one hour and 15 mins....which was fine with us. The food showed up in 30 minutes, however the pizza and all the other items were not fresh, it was obvious. too bad, because I know things used to be magnificent when a young man named Josh? or Jason? someone supervised....hes been gone for awhile and so has the quality and integrity. if you want pizza go to round table. they will answer their phones. read more

I was surprised to find out that this is not some large national franchise because the quality of their food plus the superior service goes far beyond the standards of big franchises like round table, papa John's, dominoes, etc. Pricing is a little higher than your average $10 large pizza, but given the quality of the crust, meats, and vegetables, its worth every penny. read more

So after the longest day at work I pick up my food and my pizza isn't cooked all the way through. I call them and they put me on hold to go check the temperature of the oven, guy gets back on and says well what's wrong with your pizza our oven has been pretty consistent tonight....not I'm sorry let us make a new one, or I'm sorry or how about I'm sorry. So I had to drive all the back and stand there another 20 minutes while they made me a new pizza. Yet another place I will no longer spend my money, if they would've simply said we're so sorry about that I would've been totally fine... Giving one star because I've been sitting in the dining room for almost an hour after having placed my dine-in order and being told it would take 20 minutes. When I went up to the counter to ask about my order, the cashier was mouthy and tried to tell me that it was a 45 minute wait. When I told her that they had said 20 minutes almost an hour ago, she went to check on our pizza which was finally going into the oven. We have received no appetizers, no nothing. So our 20 minute wait is apparently turning into a 75 minute wait. I don't know how the pizza tastes, but if I knew it would take this long, I would not have come here. read more

I attempted to call to place an order the other night and no one answered the 3 times I called so my friend and I drove here and we ordered two pizzas to go. The lady told us it would be 30 min so we decided to go to the store and come back since this place was overly crowed(maybe that's why they couldn't answer there phones?), loud, and hot. We came back to pick up our pizza and to our surprise they couldn't find our ticket and our pizzas were never made!! They told us they would make our order ASAP before any other pizza, I agreed to wait since we didn't have another option for dinner that late. After sitting there for 20min watching pizza after pizza get made and other people picking up there pizzas(which most orders were wrong) we finally got our pizza. I don't know if the pizza was just ok or if it was the bad experience that left a bad taste in my mouth that made the pizza kinda bland, but either way I wasn't overly impressed. It wasn't horrible pizza, but it wasn't amazing either. The manager did refund our money while I was waiting for our pizza which was nice especially since I didn't ask for a refund. One thing I did like was the manager was busting his butt in the back working. I'm not sure if I will go back or not. Probably not. read more

I wouldn't blame him though he is from Reno to begin with, me on the other hand, lives 232 miles away from this place so I only got the chance to taste the pizza and chicken wings here when we went on a weekend snowboarding trip. SoOoo enough of my blah blah blahs and let's get down to the real business: FOOD. My friends who'd been here so many times have been RAVINGGGG about how good this place is. We requested our order to be picked up. I'm going to give them props for the fast service, we called in our order when we were still at the resort which was 15 mins away from this place and when we got there, our orders were all there waiting for us (7 boxes of pizza and 75 chicken wings!) fassst! which was good knowing that we're all beyond famished! So I thought my friends were just hyping it all up but the food really lived up to the hype! The pizza was good... even better the chicken wings (spicy)... and even better than that -- the RANCH sauce that comes with it! LOL! I like the ranch sauce from WingStop but this one was so much better! Way better actually. As if pizza for dinner wasn't enough, we had pizza again for lunch from this place! Can't get enough of it. I have always had great service here! Everyone one is so friendly especially two guys I remember (Casimir and Tanner) they deserve a good tip! The pizza is very good for being a chain in Reno! They also have the best mozzarella in the world! I am very satisfied every time I go in! All of the employees are very nice! Will go back soon. read more

Pizza plus provided me cheesy orgasmic deliciousness and the most perfect French fries with a ridiculously amazing side of ranch. If plato's perfect triangle idea could be conveyed in a pizza, it would be this pizza. This pizza was a perfect y=-x^2 reflected about the x and y axis. This pizza had a diameter of medium. If mother gaia rebirthed the earth and created perfection all over again, it would be this pizza. If Fibonacci's sequence fit the slices of a pizza it is our pizza. Pizza plus is like the friend you grew up with. No matter how much time passes you can always count on it to be there for you. The food is always top notch and any time I have every had an issue, (not with quality mind you as it's always great) they fix it in a heart beat no problem. Staff has always been courteous, but to all the people who complain that they aren't acknowledged the second they walk in here's a tip: Try walking to the counter. I see to many people come in and stand that 10-12 ft weird stand off distance away from the counter and expect the cashier to beckon them over or something. The staff is busy, they are taking orders and making delicious pizza. They don't have time to cater to your insecurities about being assertive. Maybe if they're slow sure, but come on, but on your big boy pants and walk up with your order ready and I assure you they will give you 100% attention and make you the best damn pizza/wing/platter/whatever combo you want for a great price. Ordered 3 pizzas and 40 wings early in the day for a 4pm pickup. It was their anniversary so they had special pricing. My kids were excited that we were getting Pizza Plus because it's been great in the past. Sent my son to pick up our order. He waited for 45 minutes for the order and returned home with 1- mushroom pizza and 20- hot wings. Tried calling but busy for 30 minutes straight. Drove down only to find a line out the door with angry customers leaving saying they were out of food so we'll deal with it tomorrow. Obviously someone else was given my order. Ridiculous! Went in at @ 2 o'clock today and ordered $100.00 worth of pizza and wings for a birthday party. Asked for it to be ready at 5: 45 for us to pick up. Got there at 5: 40 and waited until 6:30 for our order. Very disapponited. Lots of other pizza places to choose from. Hope they get it fixed. read more

Tonight is the last time we order from Pizza Plus. The order is NEVER right and the managers don't care. Pizza took an hour to get delivered and was cold. We ordered chicken fingers and got chicken wings. Very disappointed in food and customer service. read more

This is the place to take a bunch of kids for cheap. Its dirty, has arcade games, and huge portions.....an equation that makes most kids thrilled. Would i come here if i wasnt accompanied by minors? Probably not. When im in the mood for pizza and beer i dont necessarily want to sit in filth and be bombarded by tons of kids running around. They have family meal deals that are reasonable. The kids meals come with a personal pizza and soda for $4. For $23 you can get a large pizza, a huge pile of wings, fries, veggies and ranch. On monday nights they have $1 PBR pints. The pizza was ok, ive had better, but it was tasty. They put the wrong wing sauce on the wings but those that ate them said they were still ok. The fries were big steak cut ones, nothing fancy. All the girls behind the counter were super friendly and efficient. Bottom line: Great place for family outings, not so much for a date or adult outings. read more
