Easily order online for seamless pick up or delivery. Never have had any issues with our orders, except not enough parmesan cheese (only 3 tiny packets for 3 pizzas). Usually a pretty busy spot. Employees are friendly, prices are decent. It's a small little place with an outdoor patio. Give them a shot! Everyone has their own idea of "perfect pizza" so never know, this may be your spot! My friend and I came here after our Harbor Cruise. We liked that it was open a little later than some if the other restaurants. They are dog friendly on the patio. We were grateful for that. The inside had a TV, I liked the outdoor seating better. This is a pizza joint so its going to get loud. The pizza was good. I didn't really find anything wrong with it. My friend and I split it. Came here one night this week while staying in Morro Bay with the family. Cute pizza place in town with seating inside and outside. Friendly service and we were able to catch the last 20 minutes of the World Cup on TV so that was a plus. We were able to split two different flavors onto one pizza so another plus, however the pizza itself was nothing spectacular. First off, pizza was freesh. It was hot out the oven. Crust was seasoned; cheese was gooey; pizza was stiff enough to hold the toppings well; summer goat was recommended to me and it was solid. The staff was friendly and quick. Theres a really nice patio outdoor eating area and if its not too wet out, I would definitely eat out there. We ordered delivery pizzas through Door Dash since this is one of only a few pizza places open on Mondays. We had the large veggie and medium sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms. Veggie toppings were fresh. The crust is very puffy and soft, a little sweet, with a big puffy crust "handle". Tomato sauce was low on flavor. Cheese was generic tasting. Pepperoni was not spicy and not very crisp. I can't say I'm a fan but it was okay. read more

Probably THE WORST pizza I have ever had. We ordered 4 large pizzas. We received 2 tiny personal pizzas, and 1 large "pizza," consisting of diced tomatoes. What was wrong with it you may ask? The young kids working there, the guy with the new mullet hairdo was upset he wasn't tipped what he feels they deserve for to go order and left our pizzas in a warmer without ever calling our name to come get our pizzas. We waited 30 mins for our pizzas. To top it off, we both got sick from this pizza. Vomiting and diarrhea. I would never recommend this place. We stopped at Pizza Port restaurant on our way home from San Simeon heading to San Luis Obispo. This place is in Morro Bay. This is our first time dining here. We all shared the medium Laguna pizza and the large San Francisco pizza. Since the portion is big we still had four slices left to take home. Our family enjoyed the Laguna pizza a lot. The toppings were perfectly matched and the crust was soft and delicious. This pizza tastes exquisite when combined with all the toppings. My family and I stopped here on vacation to have a little pizza outside. The vibes looked cute. I love local pizza shops I love supporting them and the vibe with the cute outdoor patio is what Drew me in. When I ordered the gal in the front took our order and she had a line out the door after she took our order and right before I paid. She notified me that it would be a 45 minute wait for the pizza would've been nice to know ahead of time. Anyhow, we decided to wait and while we were waiting, we sat outside and there were these crazy birds out there and I got pooped on. On top of everything else when I ordered a house salad it came Laden with shredded croutons not only croutons but crouton dust all over the salad. My husband notified them that I was gluten-free and I had missed it on the menu, but they refused to make me a new salad and they said that I would have to buy a new one. Strangely enough, they took the salad to fix it, but several minutes later brought it back to let us know they won't be able to until we buy a new one since our salad had left our site. It made me weary to eat it. I decided to let it be but when I actually looked at the salad, the cucumbers were also rotted. I should've looked at all of the veggies before our complaint about the croutons. The pizza had too much sweetness. It tasted very sugary. I hate to leave a bad review. I rarely ever do it, but I'm sorry pizza port we won't be back:(. After a good hundred dollar drop. Speaking of drops we got outside to find that our car was covered with bird droppings. We have been wanting to try Pizza Port in Morro Bay for a while to see how closely it resembled the Pizza Port chain in San Diego area, which we love. After our visit, we can safely say that it doesn't resemble the San Diego chain at all (we were sad). Here is what we noticed: - Menu has a good selection of pizzas, many that have the same names as the other chain. - We came in around lunchtime and ordered a half Laguna and half Margarita pizza. - It wasn't crowded or fancy. The place inside is mostly made up of picnic tables and there is also an outside patio that allows dogs. We stayed inside because it was a little cool that day. - The pizza wasn't bad... It didn't blow us away, but it wasn't terrible. My wife and I agreed that there was just something missing, like maybe the sauces needed more flavor. - Note that they do pass along around a 3% extra charge if you pay by credit card. They didn't tell me that upfront and I had to ask before handing over my card, so I ended up paying cash. Bottom line: Adequate pizza option in Morro Bay but not a place that we fell in love with...we'll keep trying others. read more

In attempt to be as charitable as possible since the pizzeria was slightly busy On 7/6 we came into the restaurant and ordered two personal pizzas, one Margherita, one Roma. Now, during the ordering process, there was an error, another order was created, for a medium BQQ esque pizza, this was labeled as accidental pressing the wrong button per the cashier (is what we assume happened, though there is no way for us the confirm this without seeing an audit log in the POS). Now we were handed a number (94), then once the correct order was placed and paid for we were notified that there would be a wait time of around an hour. Now the BQQ pizza came out and was announced with the aforementioned number 94, I accept it under the assumption it was our, now I was this was not what I had placed as an order, so the pizza was not touched for around 30 minutes, upon the arrival of my associate and having his confirmation (a weary one, which should have been a concern on our end) we began to eat, we waited for more than an hour, I inquired about the other pizza, I was told by a lady that we had eaten the wrong order, I brought this to the attention of my associate. He came up the order counter to inquire himself about the situation, he was told that we had stolen the order, now slightly upset about the accusations, he asked for the remainder of the money back. The female staff member upon hearing this got our items and after us receiving them, she said vertabim "Get the f--- out.". That was unexpected, and to not cause a scene, we promptly left. As for the pizzas, they were good. I will admit that this could have possibly been avoided if I had confirmed the original pizza order with the person who ran it to our table. As for the service, over all was good at reception, and out the final moment of us being there was rather, unpleasant, I will like to mention that me and my associate are in the hospitality industry (F&B may differ from Front Office work or Hotel F&B) but the behavior of the lady was not warranted, the condemnation and cursing. We understand if someone is firm or curt through a busy period of time, but there are other ways of handling an error and proper ways of service recovery, this was not shown to us and has left us rather hurt. I hope that this is slightly informative even if it is quite convoluted, and we wish that service may be improved for future customers. read more

They have a website that's pretty easy to navigate or give them a call- it'll make the pick up and wait time SO much easier (if you set a certain time for your order, pick will be a BREEZE). The shop is in downtown Morro Bay, and there's plenty of street parking available here. I typically order take out, but there's plenty of seating and a few games in shop. OKAY THE FOOD: * Hippie Stix are definitely one of my favorite items here, I highly recommend this dish since you can easily share it! * Their pizzas are pretty tasty, and you can get a great cheese pull when they're nice and hot. We tried returning again because we used to come here frequently - and the last time we came we were underwhelmed. But, old habits are hard to break, so we found ourselves returning back (we live on the Central Coast and often camp here) and I can honestly say this was the last time. We ordered a pitcher of beer, and two small pizzas: it was $77 and change!!!! The pizzas? NOT GOOD. Literally ZERO sauce on either pizza. Dry, lacking flavor completely, and my husband's margarita pizza had pre sliced flavorless tomatoes on it and NO sauce. The last straw? Gross plastic pint glasses. On a Saturday night, restaurant was standing room only. Took our turn, ordered at the counter and took a seat. Pizzas arrived considerably quick for how busy it was. The inside dining room can feel pretty cramped. If the weather is nice, be sure to take advantage the deck patio or the extended outdoor 'backyard' extension for more room. The menu offers gluten free crust. Do NOT kid yourself, with the hand tossed dough and no dedicated gluten free oven, there is garunteed cross contamination ‍. Pizzas good, friendly staff, chill and mellow environment which I like, I saw a review on here about comparing this pizza port to the ones in San Diego, they are not apart of the same chain. This is a standalone family owned business, not apart of the pizza port brewery chains down south. Another visitor called it AND morro bay run down, but it's just the vibe of the relaxed and easy going beach town. AMAZINGGGGG PIZZA!!! Tasty, Fresh and good size for price. Love their outside sitting area with heaters and lots of tables. Very clean and family oriented place, even have games for the kids. They also have a big TV inside so people were enjoying the football game. Only disappointment was that they don't have chx wings on the menu , only "porcorn" chx. My friends and I were super excited to try this pizza spot while at Morro Bay. We ordered a chicken bbq pizza and waited for nearly 40 minutes right outside since we ordered to go. When we arrived the restaurant wasn't too busy, yet we watched other people come in after us and receive their order before we did. After nearly 45 minutes, one of my friends goes inside to ask about our order and they tell us it's still in the oven.
