We happened to go on a very busy Friday evening, which means it's a good thing, right? 8 adults 3 small children 1st come, 1st serve on the large open area of bench tables, upstairs, downstairs and a small put front patio. Nice small arcade to keep the kiddos and Dads busy, amd 2 counter bars. Order at the counter, your name is called, pick up your own food and full your own drinks. A chaotic rhis evening but overall a good experience. A very nice lady and son let us have their table. It can get very loud in there. Service is great. Pizzas wings and mozzarella sticks were a solid 8.5. Pizza is loaded with toppings, not too saucy or salty, freshly made. We will definitely try this place again in a not so busy evening or get it to go. Price on point for the amount of food we ordered.

The place was packed so our experience may not have been typical and clearly the locals know how to order. You can choose your crust-thick or thin. Wish I had known that but they were doing best they could. Super friendly cashier who was managing a number of San Clemente Karen's complaining about wait time. The exporter was killing it with a precision and speed meant only for the most complex of military expeditions. Now to the food, eh. A moderate to solid pizza experience but the sauce on the pie was straight out of Italy. If you are one of the many millennial and trust funders who love to discuss "craft" brews, look cool, and chill while dripping wings sauce or having pizza sauce on your chin-a solid 5.0. I would return at a different time and probably enjoy more, not their fault. Be patient, they are working their butts off.

3.75 stars rounded up for this local gem. Pizza port is like your local pizza spot meant for lots of kids running around after a baseball game. 2 stories of tables, video games and 2 separate bars to grab their famous beers from. You order at the counter down below and they call your food as each item is ready. Pizza came out first so we started there. Not my favorite pizza. Very doughy and soft, the sauce is a little sweet. My 13/14 year old LOVED the pizza so who am I to criticize. Next came the baked wings. Ask for them well done so they come out crispy and yummy. I appreciate that these are not fried and seed oils. These were the gem of the meal. Only thing I would change is the freezing cold wing sauce they put on the side from the refrigerator. But def a winner. Next came out the salad, we got the port salad with roasted butternut squash, grilled portobello's, Argus and loads of blue cheese. This salad was FIRE!!! The only knock is they don't make their own dressing so you get a little side of plastic canister of Ken's salad dressing, which is a decent dressing but full of canola and soybean oil next time I would probably bring my own dressing or just squeeze some lemon on it and put some olive oil that I brought with me, but that's just me being picky. It's a damn good salad. I wish it didn't come out 30 minutes after i ordered. It was 12pm so I didn't have any beer, my mistake I'm sure. Consensus: I would come back for wings and salad for sure, the pizza needs some work.

Pizza was good. About $22 for the wife and I to share their Margherita pizza. Took about 10 minutes to come out. Upstairs was cool, great views of the ocean too. Their bar and beers to go seemed real popular, it seemed a lot of customers were there just for that. Great spot if you're nearby and in the mood for pizza.

Pizza Port creates unique and flavourful pizzas with fresh ingredients. The portion and toppings are so generous that one larger size is enough for a group of six people to share or quickly grab a snack. We are from the central coast. This was our second time having Pizza Port. The Morro Bay location was our first pizza dining experience. Both locations are great. This location has an urban feel mixed with a cozy ambiance. The Morro Bay location is more beach-friendly with an open space outdoor patio. Speaking of Pizza Port, while we were at the Los Angeles International Airport, one security officer looked quite serious. I assumed he was a fan of this place or at least a Pizza aficionado, because when he saw my husband wearing the Pizza Port T-shirt he flashed a very sweet smile with satisfaction.

10/10 would recommend! They sell slice of pizza until 3 everyday. Cheese pizza is $3 and pepperoni is $3.50. It was pretty fulfilling and pretty good! They also have a bar and an upstairs area! Seating outside and inside too. Staff were super cool and helpful.

I've visited this location once before. It's the only Pizza Port outside of San Diego, glad it's here. Food is fantastic and great selection of beers. Staff are friendly, Professional and provide fast service. Really glad the food is made fresh to order. The interiror is a little messy but that's part of the aesthetic so it's ok. The restrooms look decently clean so that's a plus. Parking is a little tough sometimes but a walk never hurt anyone. Definitely will be coming back, one of my favorite spots to come to visit.

4 stars due the food being bomb I'd give less for the wait time. We ordered wings and two 10inch pizzas. One cheese and one cheeseburger. We waited one hour for our food. Even the wait for our other friends salad was 45min. But unfortunately there's wings were amazing the pizza is great. They had a $5 pint of one of their beers so that's fun, at least you can grab those without waiting hours.

Im on the side of 5 stars for this spot. The pizza is awesome and well priced. I love that you can hop in and grab a slice or two and a beer without breaking the bank. Pizza style is thin, and they usually have a daily special by the slice. A slice will run you around 3 or 4 bucks. There beer is great, obviously. I tried the German pilsner and it was refreshing and crisp.

First time at Pizza Port. Decided to meet here with some friends in town. Seems like a staple in the San Diego area for both pizza and beer. The San Clemente location is a two story brewpub with many benches, outdoor seating, and even arcade games. We decided to get half Pizza Monterrey and half Pizza Bressi Ranch. I had low expectations but the pizza was honestly good! Hefty toppings. Good sauces. The Bressi Ranch is super unique and delicious. Location is a little busy. Also gets really hot inside. Beer is okay. Overall seems like a place you can't go wrong with but by no means best pizza in town.

I ain't gonna talk about how legitimately legendary the beer is. I ain't gonna talk about how I was raised right in between their two most classic and bitchin locations (Solana OG and Carlsbad effing village) I ain't gonna talk about the memories, the nostalgic moments post surf / skate and blenders. All I'm gonna say for now is TRIPLE BAKED WANGS. TRIPLE 3 !!!! BAKED WANGS !!!!!! That's all you need to know yelpers. You're welcom

The food was very good. I put it up there with toppers. One downside though was the service. The food took over an hour to be made 2 pizzas.

Ask the Community - Pizza Port

    Do you serve wine?

    Yes

    Any gluten free dough options?

Gluten free is an option but it only come in the small size.

Hi everyone do they have outside dining & are dogs allowed?

Outside dining is available on the upstairs and downstairs patios. It is preferred if they are outside on the patios downstairs, but yes dogs are allowed.

Does their phone number not work that is posted? I've called several times & it just rings & then says the call cannot be completed

They're just to busy to answer, no idea why they're busy lol

Is the number disconnected? There is a Verizon error message

I had no issues, they answered.

Do you order at a counter/bar or are there servers?

Order at the counter or at the bar. It is seat yourself. And they call out your name when the food is ready

Are they social distancing well or is it packed like it use to be?

Depends on the holiday but yeah over the weekends it is back to being packed.

Do they sell their pint glasses at the restaurant?

    Yes, they do!

    Open for dine in?

    Yes, it is!

Do they have cauliflower crust pizza? Thank you.

Nope. And I don't think that there are any plans to offer one in the near future.

Do they accept phone in orders to go?

Always best to go in person and order to go. It takes a little longer, but the results are better. You're welcome.

Is there any vegan options for food & beer?

There are, but they are limited. They have salads, hummus, soft-pretzels, tots, etc. They also have beer buddies which are just dough. I would just check the type of oil they use on the tots and make sure they don't share it with anything else.

Cosentino's Pizza -- San Clemente Pier…read more Let me clarify something immediately: I did not come for a peaceful walk. I came riding a crazy-ass Tesla-fast go-kart, basically stolen from my own kid Max -- because daddy needs to have some fun too. Life's about balance, okay? Parenting and speed violations on a pier. And right there, mid-ride, ocean wind slapping my face, seagulls plotting crimes -- Cosentino's Pizza appears like a divine pit stop. The pizza? Straight fire. Crispy crust, perfect chew, cheese pulling like it's auditioning for a commercial, sauce hitting that "don't ask questions, just eat" zone. This is the kind of slice you eat standing up, slightly out of breath, helmet still on, questioning your life choices -- in the best way possible. Now pause everything. GIA. Boss. Manager. Queen. Controller of the oven universe. Cool, sharp, zero nonsense, all heart. You can feel she runs the place just by the way everything works. And then... the chocolate chip cookies. I'm not exaggerating. These cookies should be regulated by the government. Warm, gooey, perfectly balanced, chocolate melting like it knows it's special. One bite and you forget you were just committing minor pier-related felonies in a go-kart. Pizza on the pier. Ocean views. Stolen go-kart from my kid. Gia dropping the best motherfing cookies on planet Earth*. If you're on San Clemente Pier and you skip Cosentino's -- seek help. If you stop here -- welcome to the correct timeline. Max, I'll return the go-kart later. Probably.

My mom used to love coming to Cosentino's Pizza whenever we were back in town. This year, we…read morereturned under much different circumstances--we were there to lay my mom to rest. As a family, we wanted to have lunch at one of her favorite places and spend some time remembering and celebrating her. I've waited a while before posting this review because I wanted to be fair and separate the emotions surrounding our visit from the actual experience. The first day we stopped in, the drink machine was being replaced and the restaurant wasn't open. That was completely understandable. What was disappointing was the attitude we received from the young staff when we simply asked when they expected to reopen. We got the typical "I don't know" response, and when we tried asking a couple of follow-up questions for clarification, they seemed annoyed and really weren't interested in helping. We aren't from the area and had specifically made the trip over because of what this place meant to my mom. We figured the first experience was just an off moment, so we came back the next day when they were open. Unfortunately, the same general attitude from the young staff carried over and really took away from the experience. The food itself wasn't the problem--it was the lack of friendliness, hospitality, and basic customer service. Of course, they had no way of knowing why we were there, and we certainly didn't expect or feel the need to explain that we had just buried our mom. But that's also the point: you never really know why someone has walked through your door or what that visit might mean to them. I wish our experience had been different, especially because Cosentino's held such good memories for our family and for my mom. Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to those memories. Food is good.....
