Had a bad experience with Pizza Rita last year and decided to order from there again after receiving a response and an offer from management there about my lackluster review. I never took advantage of their offer because I want to stay impartial, so I ordered after a "cooling down" period. Best pizza in Spokane. Always consistent, friendly service. I have ordered from this location for 4 years and it has been consistently awesome. It's that good. They are always done faster than the time promised, and open later than the chains, and way better tasting. The pizza's are made fresh, not manufactured or frozen for later use. Walked in after a long day - Dinner was going to be Pizza- LOVE how Pizza Rita is now down on the main floor of the STA Building- So nice that Pizza Rita stays open till 7pm on a weekday- I love how you can walk right in and all the workers are very nice and happy to see you- I Stopped in today at 401pm 4-26-2017 and Christmas and the other gentleman (sorry didn't get his name ) Was very friendly and helpful- Nothing better then waiting about 7 minutes for a hot and fresh yummy pizza to take home on the STA bus- Felt bad for the lady bus driver on the #61- She even said she would let me off the bus but the hot and fresh Pizza Rita pizza would have to stay- :) Pizza Rita thank you for my go to since way back in 1989? This pizza is superb. I was in town for the night and had it delivered, it seemed like it only took twenty minutes to have it delivered. I will def be eating here whenever I'm in town. I really don't understand the reviews saying it is too expensive. They have completely normal prices for pizza delivery. They also offer several deals if you're the type that can't normally afford to eat out. I had the Rita's specialty pizza and would def recommend it, delicious. 5 stars for sure. read more

I have lived a lot of places throughout the US and overseas and I've never had anything better than the Pizza Rita Five Pounder (except hold the pineapple for me). Once in a while we fall victim to some advertising and try something else only to regret it and go right back to Pizza Rita. In addition to their own specials they honor their competitors offers. Came in here for a Yelp event...by myself. Free slice of 'za and some sodaaaahh. Aren't you so annoyed that I shortened "pizza" to "'za?" Yeah, it is annoying, and douchy. I apologize, I'll never do it again. Anywho! I enjoyed my giant slice of Hawaiian and giant cup of Dr. Pepper. The pizza itself was pretty good, soda, extra fizzy. Everything just tasted good, not sure if it being free had anything to do with that. The pizza sauce didn't taste like crap, didn't taste old like some other places do. The crust was nice and chewy but not too chewy. I do like to swallow food after tasting it. People were friendly. Tried to order for delivery, whoever answered the call didn't even try to be helpful and when I gave the address that he didn't recognize, he wanted me to order $70 worth of food because "it's out of their area" when my location is just off Trent Ave, near Francher. I decided it's not worth the trouble or my business to even try if the staff who took my call isn't even trying so I didn't end up ordering, which is too bad because I've heard great reviews about their Pizza BUT the customer service is poor. Great local pizza. I think I've tried all the pizzas and I enjoy them all, also be sure to try the cheesy eights and berry eights. They honor all published coupons and deals, also be sure to call for a 50% discount on all orders of 3 or more pizzas at regular price. I've had good luck with all locations, usually ordering delivery or take out. There had been only one incident where a pizza was made incorrectly, which upon notifying them they immediately made and delivered a new one with sincere apologies. It's called "The Five Pounder.We order at least once a week.They delivery in a timely manor, it's fresh and hot,and I don't want to jinx it but,it's always been made exactly to our specifications. They have other locations but this is where we go for Pizza.And they have other combos,But This is what we like.And for dessert Apple bites! .I signed up on their web site and now every week I'm entered in the drawing for FREE pizza.I get emails on the specials.But I never get a chance to use them because they will take coupons Or give you the same deal that anybody else is offering at the time .{They really do go out of there way to make it as comparable as what the other place has to offer. }All you have to do is let them know what the deal is and Who is having it , And they try and match it best they can. I personally have never felt like l got short changed on the deal! Their Facebook page has contests that are unique and little challenging .And that where I found out about the different community events they are are either Sponsoring or a part of.There are actually quite a few.The pictures are right there to prove it. Excellent, locally owned option for uncomplicated, classic pie. We were looking for an alternative to the wood-fired thin-crust artisan pie that's everywhere now and Pizza Rita was perfect. We had pepperoni and mushroom/tomato pizzas delivered so can't comment on the restaurant but delivery was prompt, staff was friendly, and food was hot and sent with plates, napkins, and plastic silverware because we ordered from a hotel. I don't typically do a review until I've had three or more meals with a place, however service from this pizza place was really great. Delivery to my hotel was really quick. As a frequent traveler all over the US I can say hotels are not usually the places customers get priority service so it was refreshing to get hot and fresh food quickly. It was good pizza that I would order again as well. Only regret - I forgot to ask them for crushed red peppers for it. Next time it will be perfect! read more

Extremely friendly customer service! Ordered today using the online app and there was a glitch which ended up charging me for two pizzas instead of one. I call the place and let them know and they immediately took care of the problem and started apologizing about how their online app is having a few glitches. Then they delivered my pizza quickly and it was hot and delicious and on top of that I was given 5 of their free slices or 50% off coupons. I don't often eat pizza and I don't dislike Pizza Rita's pizza. Tonight we ordered delivery for the 1st time. The wait was less than the 40 minutes advised. Good. Instead of the Pizza Rita's Real Pizza, half Pepperoni, No Green Pepper, the other half No Pepperoni ordered, we received an attractive looking pizza only with absolutely no Pepperoni. Bad. I didn't wait to eat, at least the half that I like. My friend likes pepperoni & dislikes green pepper. Pizza Rita's graciously took our reorder and delivered. But not good. This time we got what we ordered although there was pepperoni spilling on my half. So ok I just peel them off, so what. But, weirdly, Pizza Rita asked for the 1st pizza back. Half eaten! Working in Public Health, as we do, we found that pretty distasteful, somewhat disgusting, and possibly against code. It's off color. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being super) we give the pizza a 6.5. Although it was tasty, we felt it lacked generosity, that is, the toppings were skimpy. The sauce was good. But again, "Return our pizza, or else!" Lol read more

Delicious. While passing though lovely Spokane, we had a pie delivered directly to our hotel room on the edge of town. It arrived on a Friday night in about 30 minutes. Great onions and peppers as well as a tasty sausage, great sauce, cheesy but not greasy, all upon their original crust that was soft and almost a buttery crispiness. Five stars. Crust was acceptable but nothing special. The cheese seemed to be the typical buy-it-by-the-ton three variety mix. The sauce is a disaster - thinly applied and bland to the point of being tasteless, sort of like a gallon of tomato sauce with a half teaspoon of "Italian seasoning" thrown in. Toppings were mushroom and olive - mushrooms seemed quite nice and fresh (that's why two instead of one star) but the olives were the very low quality canned broken pieces. How this vendor could place #1 in The Inlander best pizza category astonishes me - either Spokane area folks have no taste or else Pizza Rita somehow "bought" the vote. Would have used the money back offer, but had the order delivered to work and my partner and I were hungry and had to eat quickly and get back to business. Order from Dominos or (shudder) even Little Caesar and you'll get something that has more taste. read more

We fly into Spokane a few times a year to visit Grandchildren, they wanted pizza and the reviews seemed good. Billed as "Spokanes Best"...NOT! We ordered 3 pizzas, underproofed dough called a crust was just the beginning of the not so good experience. Not very clean. Maybe college kids will settle for it, but I wouldn't know why. read more
