The decor did seem a little cluttered, but the speed to which we received our food had us in and out, so we weren't affected by the environment too much. Overall, I've found my new Italian spot in Riverview. I'll eventually go every day of the week to try all their specials. That's how lasting my first experience was.

For my entree, I had half Linguine al Pesto and half Penne alla Rustica. Oooooof again. The linguine pesto was watery. I could barely even taste the pesto. It was like swallowing wet noodles plain. Maybe the worst pesto dish I've ever had, and I love pesto. The penne was better, but once again it didn't taste any different that one you'd order from Fazoli's. Overall, underwhelming. The pasta tastes straight out of a box from Publix. No cocktails here. The only positive is that portion sizes are huge. I think a half size is plenty for most people. Also, there is some good people watching if you can sit at a table in the window. I won't be back.

I'm very conflicted writing this review to such a small business but I thought about it all night and I'm still annoyed with this experience. We decided to invite a few friends out for dinner (15 ppl is what we told the server but we only had 8 show) for pizza for dinner. Got to the restaurant and we're told they would seat us when everyone showed up...the tables were empty but ok...so we wait...tables still empty but were still waiting on 2 people. We tell the server were waiting on 2 people but that's it. She tells us THE MANAGER ISNT HERE SO IF THE REMAINDER OF THE 20 PEOPLE SHOW UP WE CANT ACCOMMODATE THEM. We are all confused at this point because what small business turns down business? There was PLENTY of seating for 20 people regardless if it was all one party or not. So we sit down...AT SEPARATE TABLES...and she says is this everyone in the party? At this point I'm pissed...we're hungry and we've already been told if we have more people show up they'll basically be turned away..so I say we are basically separate parties so can we just order...to which she got an attitude and said well y'all all came in together...I drop it because I don't want to embarrass my family and friends...the pizza comes and I won't lie it was great...but I won't return to this restaurant because it seems like if they have more than 8 people they can't handle it...I'm sorry but I'm sure the owner of this small business wouldn't be happy to hear that MONEY was going to be turned away! read more
