Pepperoni Pizza is literally my comfort food from this location. In my opinion it's the best. The Garlic buffalo wings are delicious I recommend 100%! I usually door dash my order and once in a while I will go pick it up. It's great to the either option.

Great food and great service. Pizza is always made to order and hot! The sandwiches and pasta are great as well. The dining area is very calm lots of space to eat.

You want tradition? You want a place that makes you sit and wait awhile and forces you to have a conversation with one another as your pizza is cooked to perfection? Look no further. Let's begin this pizza review. LA or East LA has a scarcity of good authentic Italian pizza, and I mean it. And finding one good pizza place is an arduous process. I think Pizza Time has one of the best pizza. It's almost as good as NY pizza, where I grew up. Pizza Time is a small pizza place located in a small corner plaza on S. Atlantic avenue. PT's mission is keeping the tradition on what it means to be Italian. This place makes you feel like family. Don't be afraid to order something other than pizza because whatever you order will be on point. I ordered a mini pizza with two toppings and a bottle of water. It's delightfully tasty and stimulating to the palate. The melted mozzarella cheese was great and the crust was as good as the pizza itself; a word of advise make sure you wait until it cools down so that you won't burn your upper palate as you eat. Anyways, their prices were reasonable given the quality of food. Overall, I enjoyed my pizza and their service. I highly recommend them.

I got the lunch special for $10.99. Love that there were nutritious greens, sometimes all you get is iceberg lettuce at some of these pizza joints for their lunch special salads. Pizza slice was smaller than expected, i was expecting a giant slice or at least something bigger than a Chuck E Ceese slice. Back was burned a bit and crust was hard as a rock. Mozzarella was gooey and yummy though, but definitely not gourmet (i dont think) for you cheese snobs. Service and ambiance was what you can expect at any hole in the wall pizza joint.

I remember this place use be Rio's Pizza many years ago this is my first coming back from so many years ago. At the time I was going back I was saying to my self I hope they certain crunch to the crust I love the crust is nice and crispy when taking a bite. The place looks the same at the same location just across the street from East L.A. College then I went in and saw the menu. I was looking what to order but I decided to order two slice of cheese pizza and a large veggie sandwich to go. It took 10 minutes to get my order then I left to go home. The smell of the slice cheese pizza was over willing I decided to take one of the slice cheese pizza apart,I took the crust very crunchy and chewy that's the way I like it. I got home just finish just one of the slice and took the other slice apart both slice were very good. The tomatoe was very good with a good flavor that wasn't salty or water down it brought the flavor of tomatoe out with cheese was really good I really enjoy it. My large veggie sandwich was pretty good good flavors like mushrooms and the onion and the green pepper and the cheese add it so balance in sandwich I really like it very much. I need come back again soon.

Ordered takeout and was surprised it was empty considering its next to ELAC. Very delicious food for a reasonable price. My boyfriend and I shared a small (but generous portions) baked mostaccioli and a calzone. Both items had an abundance of cheese (my fave!!!) and they certainly did not skimp out on toppings!! If you're a cheese lover I recommend supporting this business! In total, everything came out to be $28 and some change but it was completely worth it imo for the portions alone.

For those visiting, note that there are two separate entrances: the main sit-down restaurant is near the parking lot off Valley, while the take-away entrance is around the back. They have arrows leading to the back, so be sure to follow them. The staff was friendly and offered helpful suggestions. I ordered a small half-cheese, half-sausage pizza ($25.25). The sausage had a great flavor, and the crust was very fluffy and doughy--so if that's your preference, you'll enjoy it. However, the cheese experience was disappointing; it was clumpy, overly salty, and quite oily. The cheese slid off the slices almost immediately, which made for a messy meal. I'm not a fan of a pizza where the toppings don't stay put, and between the excessive grease and the texture of the cheese, it wasn't for me.

The restaurant sells itself as an East meets West, New York Style, California Vibes establishment, and it achieves this effectively. I came by with my daughter on a Saturday afternoon. The inside, see photos, is clean, well organized, filled with TVs playing sporting events, and sporting an open kitchen, and a self-serve beer and wine bar. I especially liked the pizza boxes available to take extras to go, as well as other conveniences easy to grab. After resisting the many delicious looking beer options, I ordered a personal Manhattan Meat lovers pizza ($14), a crisp, well constructed small pizza with excellent crust, no flop, and multiple meaty toppings. My daughter had the Shrimp Scampi with Linguine ($18), which included a trio of garlic knots. The pasta was cooked perfectly el dente, was exceptionally lemony and garlicky which I can appreciate, and included six large shrimp. While the sauce could have been a little thicker I thought this was quite good for a pizza and beer place. Everything was made fresh. The staff was friendly, made good recommendations, helped us get a to go bag, delivered food as it completed with a smile, and overall seemed quite happy to be there. Prices, above, I found to be quite resonance for an independent chain offering food of this quality for sit-down. Mamma's was a surprising hit, offering great food and casual vibes at a great price. Mamma's is more tangy, which my partner prefers. Anyway......saucy tangent aside...). We also got a mushroom/spinach pizza which was delicious, and an appetizer of toasted cheese ravioli. They gave us some free garlic knots to start. Delish. You order at the counter and they give you a number. The tables were moderately clean. The (very nice) staff member who came to our table when we realized there were no meatballs asked us to dig under the noodles to see if the meatballs were...hiding? We earnestly asked him, "Do you see any meatballs?" because, I dunno, maybe they were really tiny meatballs? We collectively concluded that there were no meatballs, so some delicious meatballs was brought to our table posthaste. Solid service. They also have this pay-by-the-ounce system of beers, which I had never seen! I've seen it with wines. It's like pinkberry, but with beers! The lentil soup could use a little more salt, some garlic, and a little thyme. And the garlic bread was nothing to write home about. I ordered dessert, and the only dessert they have is tiramisu. The server brought me a square that was a little lopsided and it was warm on the bottom and frozen on the top. I don't think I will get it again. The iced tea was delicious... Recently, my son and I have been making pizzas on Friday nights as a bonding experience while my wife is out with friends. We make some, buy one, and compare. I ordered half cheese and half their specialty pizza, which includes mozzarella, Romano cheese, house tomato sauce, Italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, onions, and green bell peppers. Their small pizza is 12 inches and has 8 slices, which is much larger than other places. Petrillo's Specialty Pizza is stacked with generous toppings and has a doughy but crispy bottom - the best of both worlds. I enjoyed the Specialty pizza, especially the Italian sausage. While I'm not a mushroom fan, I ate them anyway. I'll likely hold off on mushrooms next time. They provide generous amounts of complimentary crushed red pepper packets, paper plates, and napkins. Unfortunately, it proved to not really be for my tastes. I will mention, as maybe this was an issue, that the day I chose to go was of course the odd day where they had some sort of "emergency" and didn't open their doors until hours after usual, so maybe their game was off. Located in a small Pasadena strip mall, the parking is on the side street and goes up to the second floor, which is where the pizza place is located anyway along with an Indian restaurant and a couple more businesses. The place is incredibly tiny, clearly meant for take out and not at all for dine in. There are three 4-people tables total and no bathrooms for customers. Went right when they opened and got a large Caesar salad, which was pretty good. The problem were the two four square pizzas. And the biggest trouble was the sauce, which is way too sweet in my opinion. I got the plain cheese and one with black olives and Italian sausage, which was more generous with the olives than the spare sausage. I didn't think it was anything special. Then again, I have been to the main places in Detroit and not been wowed there either. Still, this wasn't as good as other Detroit pizzas I've tried, so unfortunately I can't recommend it from my experience.
