Idk how to even preface this one, so let's just get to it. The service: 2/5 - The guy seemed mad I even walked in the door and asked for a slice. He wasn't asking "for here or to go" to anyone and the guys in front of me told him they were taking it home with them after he had already the slice on plates and he was visibly pissed. He took the plates, opened a box, and just threw them into it. After I witnessed that I got his attention and told him I'm having mine to go as well, he sighed and grabbed a box to put my slices in. The only redeemer is the lady at the register was nice when I didn't have cash on me and I had to go to the ATM located right in front of the cash register to pull money out. That was also very confusing to me, the "only cash" option but have an ATM in front of the register. This tells me that the owner doesn't want to pay the credit card fees but would rather waste customer's time and make them turn around to use an ATM, don't you think you'd get more business by just paying the fees and taking debit/credit? You'll have less people turning away from the restaurant because of a long line because of constant ATM visits. The restaurant: 1/5 - Everything is passive aggressive about this place. Idk who pooped in their Cheerios but they had huge double signs (so large you actually have to walk around them in oncoming traffic with a pizza box) telling you to wait here for your pizza hanging up, signs that read "NO PIZZA BOXES ON TABLES", and just an overall confusing layout causes me to give this place a 1/5 on the restaurant itself. The food: 1/5 - The pizza is reheated, as most single slice restaurants are. Only all the toppings fell off the pizza when I picked it up, the crust was hard as a rock and burnt in a couple places, and the sauce was still cold in some areas. Overall, skip this place. Idk where the nearest Pizza place is from this one but go to it instead. read more

White pizza is great, meat pizza is good, and garlic knots are okay too. My only problem is that I was getting pizza to go, and they don't have to-go bags. So, I had to carry around a bulky pizza box through town. I asked for him to wrap it or put it in a bag, but he said they didn't do that. We are such foodies and couldn't help but stop by after walking past my multiple times and there being a line out the door! No prices are posted anywhere and you order the food before paying. We asked what the prices were while ordering and they gave us a vague range of $5-10. It's set up so when you get to the cashier, you can't return the food that was given to you if you don't like the price. Most slices are $9.75 EACH and they don't offer cups for water, only $4 water bottles and other fountain drinks. I will start off by saying the garlic knots were very good, definitely the best part of the meal. However, this is by no means the #2 pizza in the country. It was good, but NOT great. For six slices of pizza and six garlic knots we paid $42. My main complaints are the service. One, the prices of the pizza are not listed anywhere, so the total was the first surprise of the evening at this place. Second, it's CASH ONLY, which is not listed anywhere except for the next to the drink machine, which is by the register. When we got to the register and were told it was cash only, the employee rudely stated, "Well there's an ATM behind you." Third, they don't offer free water cups and force you to pay $2.50 for a water bottle. You would think being a restaurant owner in Florida, where we basically live in an oven, you would offer free water since you're already profiting off of expensive slices of pizza and not paying credit card fees. We asked another employee why they don't offer free water she couldn't give us a clear answer. Moral of the story: the money and the wait is not worth it for this place. read more

Prices are not posted. Long line? Saturday for lunch it was about 15 mins from the time I got in line to the time I sat down and had the first bite. Yes, there's a line, but yes they do hustle. We went to Pizza time (8:30 pm) because of all the Trip Advisor hype on it being "the best pizza". Save your time and money! This was the worst experience the whole trip to St. Augustine. First, it's cash only, but there's an ATM inside. It's 2023! Who doesn't accept debit/credit?!?! The place is VERY small where you order pizza and the ATM is right in the middle of it all, but it's AFTER you are forced to order before you even see all the pizza selections. Second, there is zero time to even think about what you might want because the staff is asking you, impatiently, what you want...meanwhile you are trying to get cash, order pizza, make sure everyone in your family has ordered, people are staring at you to hurry (not rude but there is so much going on , everyone has anxiety!), etc etc. We had to let three families in front of us because there was so much going on! We finally got to the cashier...the only dressings they have for salads are Italian and Greek...why do you have a ceasar then? Oh and be ready to make a quick decision on a drink also! BUT don't get wine. The cups are micro! So, their sign makes it sound like a good deal "2 for 1 all day", but two is really one glass. Also, don't plan on getting a box because you might have leftovers for a late night snack later..."no boxes on the table". Save yourself...they move people in and out like a busy cafeteria. But like any tourist town, I will complain, never go back, but that's everyone visiting here, so they don't care about my review or disappointment in the eating here. $60 later (3 slices, 2 waters, 1 beer and a small house salad) Pizza was mediocre at best. read more

First time visiting St. Augustine and decided to give this place a try! Well worth the wait in line. We went during dinner time on a Friday and it was full. The employees work at a fast pace and are friendly. My only complaint is that there weren't too many varieties of pizza ... many of them seemed to have the same toppings, just one or two toppings different from the other. Luckily, I'm not picky so I just picked whatever looked good. The slices are packed with great tasting toppings, the garlic knots were so flavorful, and the marinara sauce for dipping was AMAZING!
