So, I recently discovered this amazing all vegan pizzeria.. Wooooozers! So, I love Pizza Verde so much that the hubbs and I have literally visited them more than a handful of times within a months period. So, the first time we visited Pizza Verde, we tried the Fried mozzarella appetizer, the verde pizza, and the salted caramel dessert. The mozzarella sticks were...  let's just say I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT IT WASN'T COWS MILK CHEESE. Like woow. The mozzarella sticks were so crispy  and cheesy. They tasted like they were battered in a tasty Italian like breadcrumb. They were fried TO PERFECTION, and were extraaaaaaaaaaaaaaa cheesy. Did I mention that they were so creamy and cheesy. The mozzarella sticks had a creamy, thick, and ooey gooey center. I don't even like cheese that much but I freaking loved em. As for the verde pizza,  oooooweee. The dough on the pizza was light, airy, but with a fluffy and crispy crust. The edges on the pizza were jussssst right...crispy. The pizza was a lil bit cheesy. Overall, the pizza....IS.A FULL.FLAVORED.PIZZA. Don't sleep on it...wowzers...it wasn't too thick, not too chewy...it was justttt right. The arugula has a crap ton of arugula on it. It's peppery, with a light balsamic drizzle. Now, as for the Salted Caramel dessert. Let me start by saying I hate Salted Caramel. However,  I LOVE THEIR  SALTED CARAMEL DESSERT....IT'S EVERYTHING!!! This dessert is soft, melts in your mouth. The salted caramel dessert has hazelnuts sprinkled around them, and was topped with a Tufi cookie...MY GOODNESS! I've tried the bruschetta and that was really good too. I could go on and on about everything the Hubbs and I have eaten here but I think you'd be better off trying everything yourself. So, definitely try and tell me what'd ya think. read more

I could go on forever about this place. We just left and are still on cloud 9. This place was a whole vibe. We decided to sit in and i urge everyone to get the dine in experience here it's so amazing. The owners were in there and they are so nice they wear masks and man they can cook some good plant based meals. 5 starts for everything y'all. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Everything we had was perfection. The mozzarella sticks are to die for you can't tell anything here is plant based. What topped it off for me was how fresh the pizza tasted. This is how pizza should be done. The verde has corn, chorizo (plant based), cilantro, vegan cheese and love. I want to try all their pizzas and I will. I had lunch here recently and it was excellent. The staff were attentive, the service was fairly quick, and the food was delicious. I started with the kale salad, which was bright and had a good balance of flavors. I also had the arugula pizza. The crust was chewy and the toppings were melt-in-your-mouth good. Between the salad and pizza, I was STUFFED, but I couldn't stop myself from eating the entire pizza! So, so good. I highly recommend this place. You won't miss the meat, I promise. read more

10/10 - I cannot wait to go back! I miss cheese so much since going Vegan and the substitutes other pizza places offer is appreciated but typically miss the mark. Not Pizza Verde! The Kimchi Pizza was portioned perfectly with every ingredient not outshining the other. The star of the night was hands down the Potato and Leek Pizza. Excellent and quick service for takeout or sit down. Pizzas are wood oven baked - um YES please. Salads are fresh and delicious - the House Salad is kale based - bit fancy for me but was OH SO GOOD. Beer and soda options. But you come here for pizza, ok? Ok! Big shoutout fort the thin crust that's chewy and crispy, perfect amount of cheese and toppings for subtle and fascinating flavor (bacon with shaved Brussels Sprouts, what?! Eat it, just eat it now). What I like about this place is it's vegan. I wish they had a large pizza I could buy to feed my small family. Instead, we each have to get an individual pizza and that sends the prices skyrocketing. $$$ I tried the subs today. They were tasty, but weren't very filling. I probably wouldn't get them again. Tried this place during yelp elite week with my 2 foodie besties, 1 of them is vegetarian. We were truly impressed! The restaurant is located at a strip mall, easily missed. The seating area is not that big, about 6 tables. They make everything when you order, so it does take a while to get your order, so don't come when you're starving. The 3 of us shared margherita, potato leek. & pepperoni pizzas, & verde. I also got a complimentary Prosecco, which was good & crisp! As a meat lover, I have the say that all of them were surprisingly delicious! These are very tasty pizzas, down to the crusts! Their crusts are thin, not crispy but not soggy, with crispy but not dry edges. You wouldn't miss the real cheese with the margherita pizza, just the right balance of flavors, with "lighter" cheese. The potato leek is so full of flavors, with the kick of leek and very subtle rosemary in "background", & the crunch of fresh leek pieces. The pepperonis on pepperoni pizza tasted just like the real ones with less salt. They're not crunchy but very smooth & tasty. Don't let the greens on the Verde pizza discourage you. The flavors of the topping just blend in nicely, with the lighter cheesy goodness. Each pizza can feed 2-3 ppl with normal appetite. My kids & hubby also loved the leftovers that I took home. We each had 3 slices & were full, but couldn't resist the vegan caramel ice cream with nutty topping. This ice cream was worth every bite! We were impressed with this spot as a plant based restaurant. The mozzarella sticks were really nice, I wasn't as much loving the bruschetta.. the relish part was flavored weird to me. We also got a Caesar salad, the salad was average but good croutons. Where it kind of fell off for me was the pizza. We got the margherita and it was very saucy. The cheese is nut based so it doesn't stay stringy. So just be prepared for some texture differences overall if your diet isn't normally plant based. But I was still impressed with what they are doing and making a tasty menu that people with different diet choices can eat together and really not feel a huge difference. I would recommend it to others but as a cheese eater I would probably personally pick my regular pizza spots. Definitely worth a visit though. The main oven was broken so the pizzas took a very long time to come out. However the employees were very hard working and service was pleasant and prompt. Needed a quick bite after hanging out at a dog park for a while so we decided to pick up food from here. Place looks small from the outside, but there's a pretty decent amount of seating inside. The employee was super friendly, and everything was ready pretty quickly. We got a fajita pizza with a cauliflower crust (which I believe we got extra crispy) and a fried mushroom sandwich. My BF loved the pizza, while there was a sauce on there that I didn't particularly love, but the cauliflower crust was the best! Usually when I try the cauliflower crust at other places, I'm usually disappointed so i was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the mushroom sandwich immensely! Mercy! That was an incredible experience! We enjoyed the Caesar Salad so much that I doubted it was vegan! LOL. We chose both the pepperoni and the sun-dried pizzas. they were very very good- especially the sun-dried. The crust was to die for and their almond-based cheeses had great mouthfeel and were so rich- not overly salty like a lot of vegan cheeses often are. Owners Landon and Jenny were cheerful and so pleasant. The restaurant itself was very cozy and clean. The crust on both pizzas was the floppiest crust ever (vegans, you deserve good crust!). Wow, completely unexpected! Went here because Spiral Diner was closed and we are so glad that we did. Dare I say- the BEST pizza I've eaten. And I used to work at a pizza joint! Absolute perfection- from the crust to the homemade cheese to the combination of flavors. Our favorite was the potato leek- it's like biting into the clouds of Heaven, texture-wise. My experience here was truly breathtaking! The restaurant is 100% plant based. I was greeted by the owner and his presence was warm and inviting. He shared with me that he and his wife started the business after he went vegan because he missed pizza! One question my partner and I had was about the cheese. Many vegan restaurants use Daiya cheese which we're not big fans of and the owner happily told us that the cheese is made 100% in house. It was great! We visited from Dallas and we will absolutely be returning. read more

The food here is absolutely amazing. The bread on the bruschetta is perfectly buttered and toasted, the cheese on everything is super creamy and flavorful. The pizza was absolutely divine. I will definitely return and pick up an order to take home! The store front is beautiful with two old fashioned pizza ovens with fire going as you walk in. The two cons to this location are the very limited seating area. (There are around 5/6 tables. 2 that "can" seat 6 people, and the rest are very small 2 tops). The second con is that a glass was brought out for a beer that was definitely not clean. Looking around the restaurant, there are a few little areas that need to be more thoroughly cleaned. It is possible that they were busy earlier the day of our visit and had yet to finish cleaning. Regardless, I highly recommend the food!!! read more

I'm very confident that this is the best pizza - vegan or otherwise - that I've ever had! Thin and flavorful crust, fresh and bright sauce, and creative topping options. The wood-fired oven was broken the day I visited but even without that extra touch, this meal still a highlight. Friendly staff in a small shop lended itself to the authenticity of this spot. If you're newly vegan or want to try some vegan options before you go vegan try pizza verde! I have had a vegan pizza before and vowed to never try one again because i am a texture person and the texture of common vegan cheese when it's melted is grossly slimy to me. My husband talked me into trying pizza verde and I'm happy to say i was not disappointed! They make their cheese in house, which I've never found another vegan pizza establishment do. The cheese was not slimy at all and the pepperoni were delicious! EVERYTHING HERE IS VEGAN. The customer service was great guys, they had no problem answering any questions. The pizza was baked in a fire roasted oven right in the customers view. This pizza was so good that we were eating it on the way home on the interstate and we exited to turn around and order another one lol! Ooh and did i mention the blueberry soda is immaculate! Easy to miss hole-in-the-wall location. Super cute and fresh interior--love the plants and calming green paint. That being said, the decor is simple and you won't find anything elaborate here. Very to the basics, quality and fresh ingredients, and fast service. We ordered the mozzarella app which was great and cooked really well. I love how it was the larger rectangular pieces as opposed to "sticks". We tried the Margherita and Arugula pizza--both had perfect crust and tasted delicious. Awesome to have a plant-based pizzeria in the area! I will admit, I love vegan food but cheese is the ONE thing I really struggle with giving up lol I've never enjoyed most vegan cheese however Pizza Verde made me reconsider that! This was my first time to dine at an elite week restaurant. I had the margherita pie and a glass of prosecco. Was hoping it would be a great pizza but alas, it wasn't. Crust was soggy. Tomato sauce lacked the flavor one expects from a pizza sauce. The almond milk mozzarella, all I gotta say is, if your mozzarella isn't made with whole milk, it's NOT! cheese. I have now tried wood fired pizza at three restaurants and none have been better than average. The wine was nice but nothing I would buy at a liquor store. Service was good. Will I be back? While there are lots of pizza places around this one stands out. While a small place in a strip plaza it is very clean and uses the space very well with an impressive wood fire oven. The beer selection is good and the menu had some very intriguing choices. We started with some bruschetta which had a different presentation and it was delicious! Their vegan cheese is homemade and is really the key - it is a breakthrough recipe that can not be found in any grocery store. I met a friend at Pizza Verde at noon Saturday October 21. The small shop was clean and inviting. The woman who took our order friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I had the Funghi pizza. I LOVE mushrooms and leeks. It did not disappoint. My friend, the meat eater, had the pepperoni. While the pepperoni pizza would not fool anyone, not greasy or spicy enough, I think these are plusses! I would recommend that meat eaters get one of the Pizza Verde favorites, the Verde or the Potato Leek. I will be back. So great to have a place like this in Cowtown. read more

Omg best pizza ever! The crust is SO tasty and crisp edged - order an extra side of marinara or vegan ranch for dipping every morsel. When we started our vegan journey we thought great pizza would be a thing of the past. But luckily there is Pizza Verde so we can still enjoy delicious pizza!
