Ordered a pizza for take out. Fantastic pizza as a whole. Cooked through, not burned, generous toppings, crispy crust.

Recently moved to the area, wanted some pizza, they're the closest, and the reviews are good. Placed an order for a pep pie and a dozen wings and brought it home. I wanted to love it, but it was middle of the road at best. The pizza tasted pretty good, but the dough was spongy and chewy. Not terribly so, but just not my preference I guess. The wings however....I'm trying not to be too critical, but the sauce was anything but buffalo sauce. I ordered medium, but they were sweet and the sauce was red and thick like ketchup? I was disappointed. I'll try again someday cause maybe it was a fluke. But I'll be trying another place in town next time. read more

Wow! This place blew me away. I come to Oneonta about four times a year and usually just rely on chain restaurants and of course Brooks BBQ. Then I discovered Pizzaland. I can't remember the last time I ordered such an incredible hero (eggplant). I don't eat mozzarella cheese, so when I asked for extra sauce instead, I wasn't expecting a large cup of it. And no skimping on the eggplant. Piled high. And with the sauce, I don't recommend eating this in the car! (Note: ask for napkins). Kudos to Freddy up front. Friendly and welcoming. We ordered take out and everything was quite enjoyable. Pizza, Pasta and salads accompanied by some of their homemade rolls really hit the spot. Several friends from our baseball group did the same thing and everyone enjoyed their meal. read more

The waitstaff was a bit unfriendly. Service for us was very slow. We ordered our drinks and it took 10 minutes to just get our drinks. We ordered garlic knots and it took at least 30 mins for them to be brought to the table. There were two tables that were sat after us and they ordered, received their food, ate and paid before we even got our appetizer. There was a table that was sat as we got our main course that ordered the garlic knots and theirs came out within 5 minutes. The pizza and knots were good, the pasta white broccoli was very bland(basically pasta & broccoli swimming in butter)but the unfriendly attitude and slow service really ruined the meal for us. First I have to say is WOW! Being from Brooklyn and currently living on Long Island I'm use too good Italian food and the food at Pizzaland is just as good as anywhere I've eaten. In area for business on a Sunday I felt like having pasta for dinner. I did some searching for restaurants on yelp and came across Pizzaland. I'm glad I gave it a shot! Although I didn't have the pizza the table next to me did, and it looked great. I had the House salad, eggplant antipasto and then the chicken parm. Although I could not eat it all I was glad I took it all home with me! Eggplant antipasto was great Chicken parm was great! If your in area it is worth the ride! So disappointed! Spent $60 on a large pie with 1 topping and 2 orders of wings. I get it...everything is expensive. I wouldnt mind if the food was good. The Mild wings were ok if you don't mind the ketchup like sauce. At least they were cooked ok. The garlic parm wings were not edible. They were awful. The sauce was very bad and the wings were hard, old and disgusting. Thankfully the pizza was edible. Will try to avoid ordering wings here again. read more

A good option in the area. I was recently on a family baseball trip and we shared with part of the baseball team at the place. The pizzas are excellent, the Buffalo Wings are incredible, plenty of parking. The service is good. I will go again on my next baseball adventure in Cooperstown. read more

Oh Pizzaland, you hold a special place in my heart. My running route consists of passing Pizzaland about halfway through, and it's just the motivation I need to finish the run. This is about their takeout pizza. The only good thing to say about it is that the crust looked perfect. Nothing else about it was ok.

The pizza was heavy but decent. The salad was loaded with onions. The sub was fresh but wasn't made as I asked.

We were finishing up at All Star Village and really wanted some pizza. We quickly drove over as we saw it closed at 10- wanting to see if we could place an order to go. We walked in the door at 9:29 pm and it was as if you were in a movie and the music came to a screeching halt. Two servers looked at us and walked away in the opposite direction. They were talking amongst themselves for an uncomfortable amount of time. So I asked, Would you like us to leave?" One of the servers asked if we wanted to sit and we answered, "No, just wanted to ask if we could Order some food to go." We were then told that their manager said they are closed and "would we please come back another night." Unfortunately, it's not likely. I understand coming in 30 min before close might be inconvenient, but I have to imagine being that they're so close to All Star Village, they might expect AND WANT some late dinner business- ESPECIALLY after the year restaurants have had. We try very hard to always give locally owned businesses a chance but Pizzaland left a bad taste in our mouths without even having tried their food. Fortunately or unfortunately, McDonald's was down the street and still taking orders. read more

Sometimes ok others not . Sauce is not as good as it used to be. And the meatballs not as good as they used to be

Don't order their Chicken Marsala. Not sure if it was chicken. Had to ask for a steak knife to cut it. The Marsala sauce was out of a can, maybe Chef Boyardi. The garlic bread was hot dog rolls with butter smeared on it with a little bit of garlic powder. Our water was served in paper cups. Won't be back for another beating. I'm typing this as I sit here waiting on my pizza. Have been waiting about 35 minutes to get a medium pepperoni pizza. Took 10 minutes to get drinks for 4 people. We are 4 of maybe 10 people in the restaurant so they aren't busy. Right now, they get 1 star because this place is slow slow slow. Will revise with more info after we get our pizza. Revised- pizza arrived after 50 minutes or so. It was good but I wouldn't go back knowing I had to wait. I feel it's overpriced as well. $16 for med pepperoni pizza. $3.25 per additional topping. $2.50 for soda and no free refills. Gonna keep it 1 star. read more

We were staying over before a visit to Cooperstown to see the HOF and wanted some pizza. Pizza Land sure delivered for us!! The pizza was absolutely fantastic, with a great crispy crust all the way to the middle, and plenty of toppings to satisfy our appetite. Two of us couldn't quite finish a large, so we have lunch tomorrow! We split a salad before the 'za, and it was basic, but very good. While we didn't order any of the pasta dishes, we saw a few being delivered to other tables and boy, did they look great! Huge, too! Definitely bring your appetite, or a bigger pair of pants, and enjoy. While the interior decor may not look like much, the food and the fact that it was pleasantly full of locals should tell you that it's worth the effort. This place was the best Italian food. I have had. The portions are huge and for a great price ! Lonnie and Winny are amazing servers. We were greeted with kindness. I got the stuffed shells they were to die for. The garlic knots are AMAZING. My family also got raviolis, chicken parmigiana and 2 other pasta dishes which look very good. Traveling thru the area we came upon PizzaLand. The place was clean, the waitress pleasant and helpful. We ordered Chicken Marsala and Lasagna. The portions were to say the least Huge. Went twice within a three day period because the pizza was absolutely perfect the first visit. Second visit, still good but the crust was burned underneath adding a flavor that did not compliment the excellent sauce and gooey melted cheese on top.
